Jeremy Clarkson says he's 'done' and makes major decision after pub struggles
Clarkson's Farm and former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson has documented his journey when it comes to his farm and now he is giving an insight into his pub business
Jeremy Clarkson says he's "done" after struggling with his pub venture. The TV star has said that he won't be taking on any more entrepreneurial ventures after his pub due to not understanding the business behind it.
The Grand Tour star took on the new business venture in July 2024 when he bought the pub in Asthall. He decided to take on the challenge after being successful with his 1000-acre Diddly Squat farm and accompanying shop.
Jeremy features the purchase of the pub in the latest series of Clarkson's Farm but says he won't be doing it again. The pub is called The Farmer's Dog and has attracted people from around the country to go and visit – with many taking to social media to issues reviews.

In an interview with The Times, Jeremy said: "I'm done with business now. I am not starting another business as long as I live. I don't understand it and am not motivated by money. I just want a good craic."
The former Top Gear host has been showing his pub landlord journey during his series and he has also revealed the funny reason why he chose to name the pub The Farmer's Dog.
In the fourth episode, Jeremy can be seen reading through documentation about handling the pub's purchase and this is when he finds out that the surrounding Oxfordshire area is regularly visited by people who enjoy having sex in public spaces.
Jeremy finds that the pub's garden area is designated by the council as "a picnic site". Clarkson then called his lawyer to explain the situation and he was told that the site previously attracted some "unwanted and anti-social behaviour" that "might put you off eating your picnic".
The lawyer said: "We have happened upon some quite interesting photographs which capture certain graffiti and certain goings-on."
Clarkson then visited the area himself and found that it was still going on as he found underwear thrown in trees. He first talked about the dogging rumours when he shared a post to his Instagram page.
He stood outside of the pub as he held up a stick with a pair of black and pink knickers hanging off the end. He wrote: "Tell me you bought a pub on a dogging site without telling me you bought a pub on a dogging site."
The Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? presenter also had a serious health scare that saw him rushed to hospital recently. He underwent surgery upon finding one artery was completely blocked and another nearly, after waking up one morning feeling "clammy", with chest tightness and odd sensations in his arm.
Following his health scare, Jeremy has had to make some "horrific" changes to his lifestyle, including exercising, cutting down on alcohol, and changing his diet, all of which means he's "not allowed to have fun anymore".

Glastonbury organiser Emily Eavis slams anti-IDF chants
Eavis, whose father Michael co-founded the festival, posted on Instagram on Sunday morning responding to rap duo Bob Vylan's set the day before. "Their chants very much crossed a line and we are urgently reminding everyone involved in the production of the Festival that there is no place at Glastonbury for antisemitism, hate speech or incitement to violence," she wrote. She said that while "as a festival, we stand against all forms of war and terrorism - we will always believe in - and actively campaign for - hope, unity, peace and love", adding a performer's comments "should never be seen as a tacit endorsement of their opinions and beliefs". Eavis added: "With almost 4,000 performances at Glastonbury 2025, there will inevitably be artists and speakers appearing on our stages whose views we do not share." The rappers' set was streamed live on the BBC on Saturday, showing one of them shouting the slogan into the mic, with some of the crowd joining in. They also performed in front of a screen that claimed Israel's actions in Gaza amount to "genocide". The Israeli embassy posted on X in the hours after the set saying it was "deeply disturbed by the inflammatory and hateful rhetoric". It said the slogan used "advocates for the dismantling of the State of Israel".

Dumped Love Island star says DMs are flooded with celebs after leaving villa
Blu Chegini, who was dumped from the Love Island villa this month, says that some famous faces have slid into his DMs since leaving and accuses ITV of not showing his true personality. Dumped Love Island star Blu Chegini has revealed that his DM's are 'popping' since leaving the famous ITV2 villa, and there's even a few famous names in there. Talking with Mirror at the TRIC Awards in central London, 26-year-old Blu admitted, "It's been a bit mad since I left the villa, the DMs have been busy though, they're popping." He added, "There's been a few famous ones, but I better not say who." Despite being in the original line-up of islanders at the beginning of this series, Blu was dumped from the island earlier this month in a brutal recoupling which left him single. Before his departure, he was getting to know girls Alima and Shakira, who remain in the villa. Since returning home, Blu's Instagram has reached 22K followers - including the likes of former Love Island winners Jess Harding and Gabby Allen and Married At First Sight star Hannah Norburn. He has also signed to Neon Managment, the same PR company who manages stars such as Joey Essex and Lucinda Stratford. While there may be plenty of single girls hoping to catch London-based Blu's eye back in the UK, the reality star still has eyes for Mallorca. Admitting the premature departure was disappointing, Blu said he'd like another crack at the famous villa: 'Get me back in there, I'd definitely go back and show my personality more, I didn't get to do that. "I did show it in the villa but it wasn't aired in the episodes, so I'd like people to get to know me and see what I'm really about. I want ITV to fly me out for Casa Amor.' Describing his type as Poppy Harrison, who was only on the show for two days as she attempted to turn Remell's head at the Sleepover villa, Blu says the bombshell is exactly who he was waiting to enter the villa for himself. However, if the Construction Project Manager doesn't make it back to Mallorca before the end of the series, he's hoping for one of his fellow OG islanders to win the series. 'I want Tommy to win, I'm not sure who he'll be partnered with, but I'd like him to win.' Blu also weighed in on the villa drama after Toni and Emily recently came to blows, admitting he thinks Emily is a 'sweet girl' and doesn't know why there's been a war of words between the pair.

Double Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova prepares for her last dance in SW19
Petra Kvitova needed to say the words out loud to ensure she could relax and enjoy her final Wimbledon. The two-time women's singles champion only returned to the sport in February following the birth of son Petr a year ago but announced last week that she plans to call it a day after the US Open later this summer. Kvitova is a former world number two and winner of 31 titles but her name will always be associated most with Wimbledon. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Wimbledon (@wimbledon) She was a shy 21-year-old from small-town Czech Republic when she stunned Maria Sharapova in 2011, while she produced one of the most dominant final performances in Wimbledon history three years later, thumping Eugenie Bouchard 6-3 6-0. 'I wasn't really planning anything when I came back,' said Kvitova of her decision. 'I was just thinking I go how it goes. I do this year, maybe maximum next year. That's when I knew that I will not carry on for a long time because I was already tired before and tennis is a very difficult sport, and of course with a baby it's not that easy, and I'm not that young any more as well. 'My body, it's struggling a little bit, it's just too much probably. I had the time when I said, 'OK, I'm done, I don't want to put myself in this situation'. 'I wanted to enjoy Wimbledon. I wanted to know, even for myself, that it will be my last Wimby because it's so many great memories I have – even the bad ones. 'Most important are the two great ones. It's always been my special tournament and that's why I wanted to say it out loud before it starts.' Asked for her favourite All England Club memory, the 35-year-old cites the moments before she clinched the trophy for the first time. 'I think it was the first one, when I had 5-4 and I was going to serve for the match,' she said. 'I do remember I was sitting on the bench and I was telling myself it's maybe just one chance in my life so I should try to do it. 'Those wins were the most I could wish for and it was very special to win it for a second time as well. Since then I always wanted to have the feeling again. Probably that's why I was sometimes struggling as well in the first rounds. I put too much pressure on me. Sometimes it was very sad.' View this post on Instagram A post shared by Petra Kvitova (@ Kvitova said she will not miss the travel or the pre-match nerves – 'sometimes I was white as a wall' – but she has never grown tired of tennis. 'I will miss tennis itself,' she said ahead of a first-round match against 10th seed Emma Navarro on Tuesday. 'It's a beautiful sport, it's something which you need everything – hands, legs, mind – to be really ready and you are alone on the court. 'I'm not sure how I'm going to feel but every time stepping here in Wimbledon it's very, very special. This time will be a different special for sure but definitely I will enjoy it.'
