McDougall, Ont. couple chasing race redemption in season 11 of ‘The Amazing Race Canada'
A McDougall, Ontario couple is set to appear in season 11 of The Amazing Race Canada, the country's most-watched summer series.
The high stakes, heart pounding, adventure show previously brought Brendan and Sam together and now they're back as a dating couple chasing race redemption.
'We've run this race before, we know what it takes, and we've got the best partners in the world this time,' said Brendan McDougall.

The daring duo living in the Parry Sound area met through the show a few years back. Brendan competed in season eight alongside his brother, while Sam raced with her dad in season 10.
'Our mantra this time is to be slow and steady and just have fun. When you're enjoying yourself, you've already won,' Sam May added.
Hosted by Olympic gold medalist Jon Montgomery, The Amazing Race Canada returns Tues., July 8 at 9 p.m., with 11 new Canadian teams setting out on an epic journey.
The race kicks off in Edmonton, where last season's winners Katie and Taylor took home the winning title. This time, racers will begin their trek at Commonwealth Stadium and later in the season, for the first time in show history, the race reaches the Arctic Ocean in the Northwest Territories.
