‘The Summer I Turned Pretty' Cast Salary Details, Pay Per Episode
While Jeremiah only spent $300 dollars on an engagement ring for Belly on The Summer I Turned Pretty, happy to report that Gavin Casalegno can afford to drop way more $$$ on a diamond in real life ' out this show pays! If you've been wondering how much Lola Tung, Christopher Briney, and Gavin makes for everyone's favorite highly dramatic summer romance, we've been doing some research and think we have a pretty good idea of the cast's per-episode salary. Let's dive in. According to FlixPatrol, The Summer I Turned Pretty is the number one show on Prime as of July 24—ahead of Head Over Heels, Ballard, We Were Liars, and Countdown. In other words, it's making Amazon a ton of money thanks to an extremely loyal and engaged viewership. We also know that Amazon is willing to spend on the show just based on the soundtrack. all that music does not come cheap! Example? Chris Pratt earned $1.5 million for The Terminal List, according to Variety. Meanwhile, John Krasinski allegedly took home $2 million per episode of Jack Ryan. Obviously, Chris and John were both coming on board Prime with multiple blockbuster movies and TV shows backing them up—so it seems unlikely that the cast of The Summer I Turned Pretty are making as much as they did. To illustrate the vast range in celeb salaries, we can turn to Jeffrey Tambor, who was making $275,000 per episode of Transparent according to the NY Post—a pretty huge difference! Their exact salaries aren't know and probably won't be revealed, but according to The Things, the cast's net worths are all hovering between $500,000 to $1 million. Which implies that they're making in the tens of thousands (or maybe even hundreds of thousands) per episode of The Summer I Turned Pretty. Of course, the show has also turned them into influencers with brand deals, so money is rolling in from their heightened platforms as well. Either way, now that everyone is officially capital F Famous, expect Gavin, Lola, and Christopher's per-project rate to increase significantly for whatever comes next.

P-Valley Season 3: Release date speculation, cast and plot details – Everything we know so far
By Aman Shukla Published on June 28, 2025, 19:30 IST Last updated June 28, 2025, 13:53 IST Man, it's been a minute since we last vibed with P-Valley . That Season 2 finale in August 2022 left us all kinds of shook, and now fans are itching to get back to The Pynk, that gritty, glittery strip club in Chucalissa, Mississippi. So, what's the word on P-Valley Season 3? We've scoured the latest buzz, including those X posts flying around, to bring you the lowdown on the release date, cast and plot details. Let's dive in. When Will P-Valley Season 3 Hit Screens? Starz hasn't locked in an official premiere date yet, but we've got some solid clues. Production began in April or May 2024 and wrapped in November 2024, according to multiple sources. Based on the production timeline of Season 2, which took approximately six months from filming completion to premiere, P-Valley Season 3 is likely to debut in mid-2025, maybe in July, August. P-Valley Season 3 Expected Cast The heart of P-Valley is its characters, and most of the fan favorites are set to return. Here's who we expect to see strutting back into Chucalissa: Nicco Annan as Uncle Clifford, the fierce, non-binary owner of The Pynk, ruling with heart and hustle. Brandee Evans as Mercedes, who's stepping away from the pole to build a new life with her daughter. Shannon Thornton as Keyshawn (Miss Mississippi), fighting for freedom from her toxic relationship. J. Alphonse Nicholson as Lil' Murda, chasing music stardom while navigating his public love story with Uncle Clifford. Parker Sawyers as Andre, caught between ambition and personal drama. Harriett D. Foy as Patrice, Mercedes' complicated mom. Skyler Joy as Gidget, keeping the dance floor hot. Dan J. Johnson as Corbin Kyle, stirring up local power plays. Morocco Omari as Big L, loyal to The Pynk. Dominic DeVore as Duffy, tied to the club's inner circle. Jordan M. Cox as Derrick, Keyshawn's controlling partner. Psalms Salazar as Whisper, bringing her flair to the stage. P-Valley Season 3 Potential Plot P-Valley thrives on its messy, heartfelt drama, and Season 3 will pick up where Season 2 left off. While Starz is keeping the story under wraps, here's what we're expecting based on the finale and teases from the cast: Mercedes' Next Move: After leaving The Pynk and reuniting with her daughter, Mercedes is building a dance studio. Season 3 will dig into her life as a mom and entrepreneur, but don't expect it to be smooth sailing. Uncle Clifford and Lil' Murda: Their love went public in Season 2, a bold move in a conservative town. Expect tension as they balance their relationship with Lil' Murda's growing fame and the prejudice they face. The Pynk's Future: The club's always under threat—whether it's shady investors or local politics. Uncle Clifford's fight to keep The Pynk alive will be a big focus. Keyshawn's Fight: Still trapped with Derrick, Keyshawn's journey toward independence will hit new highs and lows. Haiku's Chaos: The new dancer's wild energy is sure to spark drama, maybe clashing with Roulette or Whisper on the floor. Katori Hall calls P-Valley a 'love letter to the South's marginalized,' so expect Season 3's 10 episodes to dive deep into love, survival, and grit, all with that signature P-Valley sparkle. A Shaman Saves Her Unlucky First Love In K-Drama ‘Head Over Heels'
Cho Yi-hyun and Choo Young-woo star in 'Head Over Heels.' K-drama fans have seen a lot of Choo Young-woo this year and they are about to have another opportunity. The actor, who debuted in 2021, played a doctor who assists in thrilling medical rescues in Trauma Code: Heroes on Call, a prosecutor in Mercy For None and two lookalike characters The Tale of Lady Ok. This week the actor joins another rising star, Cho Yi-hyun, in a new fantasy rom-com Head Over Heals. Although The Tale of Lady Ok was the first of those dramas to air—and earned Choo a Baeksang award for Best New Actor—it wasn't the first of those roles that he filmed. At a recent press conference for Head Over Heels he explained the sequence. 'I filmed them in this order: Trauma Code, Mercy for None, Tale of Lady Ok, and then Head Over Heels,' said Choo. 'Mercy for None and Tale of Lady Ok overlapped in schedule and I didn't really have any breaks between projects. But being able to keep working on new projects is something I'm truly grateful for." Cho studied with a shaman to become comfortable with the rituals. Head Over Heels is a fantasy rom-com about a high school student/shaman, Seong-A, played by Cho. Seong-A tries to save the life of her very first love, the unlucky Gyeon-U, played by Choo. Gyeon-U is resigned to his unlucky life but worries about the ways his bad luck might rub off on others. Is bad luck contagious? Not sure, he decides to keep people at a distance. 'More than worrying about his own suffering, Gyeon-U is deeply afraid of hurting the people around him,' said Choo. 'I think he believes strongly that his misfortune might spread to others.' What Gyeon-U needs is a shaman who can help him figure out where his bad luck is coming from. Seong-A's job is to mediate between the human world and the spirit world, but it's not a job you apply for. She didn't choose to be a shaman. 'They say that becoming a shaman isn't something you can choose just because you want to or reject just because you don't,' said Cho. 'It's said to be a calling by the spirits. If someone refuses it, they may suffer from an unexplained illness or bring misfortune to people around them. Seong-A became a shaman simply because she was chosen, like others before her.' To accurately play the role, Cho studied rituals with a practicing shaman. She also had her saju done, a traditional Korean form of fortune-telling based on the year, month, day, and time of a person's birth. It was a good experience. 'I've had my saju read before,' said Cho. 'Saju is the study of one's fate depending on one's birth date and time. Since my reading came out positive, I want to believe in it.' The characters played by Cho Ji-hyun and Choo Young-woo attend high school together. To save her first love Seong-A will have to communicate with diverse spirits, not all of whom are friendly. The drama's stars insist the story's spirit interactions tend to be 'cute' rather than too scary. The story also introduces a love triangle with Ji-ho, Seong-A's close friend, played by Cha Kang-yoon. Cha, who made his acting debut in 2024, has also been busy lately, appearing in The Midnight Romance in Hagwon, The Art of Negotiation and Resident Playbook. It doesn't require a shaman to predict that these actors have a bright future or that the chemistry between Choo Young-woo and Cho Ji-hyun will be screen-worthy. They acted together before. Cho, who previously appeared in the Hospital Playlist series and the global zombie hit All of Us Are Dead, worked with Choo in the drama School 2021. According to Choo his co-star has only become prettier since the last time they worked together. Their characters meet when Gyeon-U's grandmother takes him to get his fortune read. Unlike his co-star, Choo has never had his fortune told. "If someone could actually predict the future accurately, of course I'd be curious, but I don't want to know,' he said. The tvN drama is based on the 2020-2023 webcomic "Gyeonwoowa Sunnyeo' by An Soo-Min, which can be read via Naver. The story was adapted by Yang Ji-Hun. The drama was directed by Kim Yong-wan, who previously directed If You Wish Upon Me. Head Over Heels streams on Prime Video every Monday and Tuesday, starting June 23.
