Dr Chris Brown dating glamorous TV publicist

Dr Chris Brown is no longer single.
News.com.au can reveal the Australian vet turned TV host is dating glamorous Queensland publicist Lorraine Monforte.
The former Bondi Vet star has managed to keep news of his private romance under wraps in recent months.
Monforte, 41, is a much-respected and well known publicity manager at Channel 10 in Brisbane, where she's worked for more than a decade. Monforte was recently made redundant by the network, and is set to work her final day this week.
Brown, who is based in Sydney, was the long-running co-host of the network's prime time show I'm A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! until he moved to Channel 7 in mid-2023.
Brown and Monforte declined to comment to news.com.au.
Brown, 46, who is based in Sydney, hasn't shared anything about his partner on his social media accounts, while Monforte has her Instagram page set to private.
The Dancing With The Stars co-host, long considered one of Australia's most eligible bachelors, uploaded videos from his winter holiday to Finland in March. Though Monforte didn't make an appearance in the posts, she shared her own photos from Finland at the same time.
The couple both worked at the network together up until Brown's departure. News.com.au understands it wasn't until recently their friendship developed into a relationship.
Brown first achieved widespread recognition starring as a vet on Harry's Practice in 2003.
Since then, the private star has continuously dodged questions about his dating life. He was more recently linked to Sydney model Brooke Meredith, whom he dated from 2020 until 2022.
Speaking to Stellar in May last year, he told the outlet the 'right girl will be there at the right time', while confirming he was single at the time of publication.
'I would still like to have kids – I still feel that's very much a priority,' he told the magazine.
'Would I like to have done something about that in the last five years? Probably. But it hasn't worked out that way.
'If it hasn't happened naturally and I'm not a dad yet, then I'm OK with that. I'm not worried. I feel like it will happen when it happens. The last thing I want to do is force it and end up in a situation where I feel like I've rushed it. But, yeah, I'm taking my sweet time.'
Monforte announced her departure from Channel 10 in a social media post last week, saying she'd enjoyed '13 glorious years' at the broadcaster.
'Cheers to Channel 10 and the very best friends I've made along the way. It's been an honour and a privilege,' she wrote.
Among the network talent to comment on the post included weather presenter Josh Holt, who thanked Monforte for her 'hard work over the years.'
Former The Bachelorette star Angie Kent shared, 'You were always such a dream to work with darling heart!!'
TV chef Miguel Maestre joked, 'You lasted longer than The Living Room Monforte.'
'This is just a turn of the page for your life story,' Maestre continued.
Network Ten also declined to comment.

The Block 2025 Episode 5 recap: Han's extreme reaction to judges' feedback

Sometimes nice guys do finish first. Renovation novices Mat and Robby emerged victorious in bathroom week, impressing themselves and all three judges with their handiwork. 'This is the Goldilocks room! It is everything we have seen in other rooms, working extremely well together,' judge Darren Palmer said as he, Shaynna Blaze and Marty Fox took in the latte-coloured walls and impeccably finished tiling work. 'For a week one room, this is some of the best work I have seen,' Marty added approvingly. It wasn't just the caramel colour palette and smooth finishes which scored the South Aussie hairdressers the win. They were also the lone team to have the all-important horizontal towel rails and a vanity that had been installed at the right height. The boys' neighbours Alicia and Sonny, like everyone else, fell short with their too-tall vanity and Shaynna bugbear, vertical towel rails. But they did receive glowing praise for their chocolate-hued bathroom. Darren said he was 'besotted' with what they had done. 'This gave me a kiss on the mouth as soon as I walked through the door,' he said. Marty played a little harder to get. But admitted that the longer he stayed in the room (and took in little finishing touches like the timber stool), the more he liked it. Sonny and Alicia may have finished second for their reno, but their budgeting came out trumps, netting them $10,000. The Queenslanders spent almost $10,000 less than victors Mat and Robby. Can and Tan also fared well with the penny-pinching. But Han's refusal to accept they had bitten off more than they could chew with the elaborate floor to ceiling tile design, meant they failed to finish. On Saturday, Foreman Dan had tried to gently suggest the girls scale back their ambitious tiling plan fearing (rightly, it turned out) that they were headed for disaster. But 'Handy Han' wasn't having a bar of it. She seemed to be the only person on site who couldn't see they were doomed. At one stage, she was even talking about going over to help neighbours affected by glue-gate after she finished tiling. Of course, they never finished. But Han never gave up hope they would until after host Scotty Cam called 'Tools down!' Prepared to cop criticism for being unfinished, Han couldn't stomach it when the judges pointed out the flaws with their design. Literally. Leaving the judging room in tears, Han locked herself in the caravan bathroom to vomit. It wasn't as though the judges had said anything that harsh. Much of the criticism revolved around vanity height (again). But Marty hated the brass fittings on the shower screens. And also urged them to rethink the curved doorway, arguing it was a waste of money and didn't look right in a flat-roofed property. Darren felt they needed to get moodier (design wise), arguing: 'I don't think this is what the Daylesford market is going to respond to, aesthetically speaking.' Shaynna felt the girls' problems could all be traced back to missing out on a gabled roof property on day one. She believed they needed to 'fall in love with the exterior' of House Two. 'Find the benefits of that exterior and use it to your advantage,' she urged. Having decreed that Han and Can's floor-to-ceiling tiles were unnecessary in a cold climate, citing Britt and Taz's vinyl wallpaper as a great example of a cheaper way to make a bathroom feel finished in far less time. 'It's a good bathroom, but it's not great. And from a marketing perspective, where's the Daylesford in it,' Marty queried. They saw plenty of Daylesford in Emma and Ben's green-themed room. Shaynna was impressed by the way the Mornington couple had mirrored the surrounding area's colours and textures in their bathroom. But their finishing (and lack of horizontal towel rails) let them down. Nonetheless Darren said: 'this couple have lots of experience and clearly they know how to deliver.' As Mat would say: 'Game on molls!' FINAL SCORES Robby and Mat: 26.5 Sonny and Alicia: 25.5 Emma and Ben: 24 Britt and Taz: 24 Can and Han: 19.5

TV stars show off glitz and glamour on 2025 Logies red carpet

It was a sea of high-reels for the ladies and polished boots for the gentlemen at a glamorous and racy Logies red carpet on Sunday night, but one legendary TV star bucked the trend and opted for a shoe choice that was completely different but also completely charming: sneakers. Julia Morris, a long-running star of the small screen, revealed the uncommon choice at The Star in Sydney for the 2025 Logie Awards. It was a pleasant surprise amid a fashion extravaganza that constantly wowed, with multiple stars decked out in stunning attire. Sophie Monk looked fabulous in a figure-hugging white gown, while Carrie Bickmore dazzled in a sparkling gold dress. Gold Logie nominee Sonia Kruger also donned a gold figure-hugging dress. Nine Today host Sarah Abo, meanwhile, was the epitome of elegance in a stark black top that matched with black pants. Red was also a key theme of the night, with Kate Miller-Heidke, Kerri-Anne Kennerley and Home and Away star Stephanie Panozzo also shining in the bright eye-catching colour. Sunrise pair Natalie Barr and Matt Shirvington matched beautifully together, with Ms Barr in a flowing white robe and Mr Shirvington in sharp black. The men were generally conservative, opting for slim black-tie suits, though Matty J added some diversity with a charming pink get-up. Australia's beloved Bluey also made an appearance. The stars of the small screen gathered at The Star for the 65th annual TV Week Logie Awards celebrating the best of Aussie TV. Sam Pang opened proceedings with a brutal but hilarious roast of the various nominees and stars of TV. When riffing on the massively popular but controversial Married At First Sight, Mr Pang suggested the show's producers hire mushroom cook Erin Patterson for the next season 'as the caterer'. Both the public and the industry determine winners. Early winners include Bluey for 'Best Children's Program' and The Voice for 'Best Entertainment Program.'
