Israel claims killing three senior IRGC commanders
Shafaq News/ Israel has killed three senior commanders of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in coordinated airstrikes, escalating a rapidly intensifying confrontation with Tehran.
According to Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, an airstrike in Qom eliminated Saeed Izadi, who led the Quds Force's Palestine Corps. Katz described the operation as a 'major achievement for Israeli intelligence and the Air Force,' highlighting Izadi's role in arming and funding Hamas ahead of the October 7 attacks.
Both the US and the UK had previously sanctioned Izadi for his links to Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

In a separate strike, Israeli military spokesperson Avichay Adraee announced the killing of Behnam Shahriari, head of the Quds Force's Unit 190, which handles weapons transfers. Israeli aircraft reportedly targeted his vehicle in western Iran, over 1,000 kilometers from Israeli territory, following intelligence provided overnight by Military Intelligence.
Shahriari allegedly oversaw arms shipments to Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis, while also running a financial network using shell companies, money exchangers, and couriers in Turkiye and Lebanon. Israeli officials accuse him of funneling hundreds of millions of dollars annually to allied armed factions.

The IRGC did not issue a statement regarding the reported assassinations.
The strikes come as tensions between Israel and Iran spiral. Iran's Fars News Agency reported Israeli strikes on two sites: a key nuclear facility in Isfahan and a residential building in Qom. The Qom attack reportedly killed a 16-year-old boy and injured two others. Iranian authorities confirmed no radiation leak from the Isfahan site.
Iran's Health Ministry announced nearly 4,000 casualties since Israeli airstrikes began on June 13, with 430 killed and over 3,500 wounded.
In retaliation, the IRGC launched the 18th wave of 'Operation True Promise 3,' claiming it targeted Israeli military assets—including Ben Gurion Airport—using Shahed-136 drones and precision missiles.
The IRGC asserted that its drone formations breached Israeli airspace, evaded interception, and forced civilians into shelters, warning of continued strikes as part of what it called a 'strategic response' to Israeli aggression.
Around 2:30 a.m. local time, air raid sirens sounded across central Israel, including Tel Aviv and the occupied West Bank, after Iranian ballistic missiles were detected. Several were intercepted, but debris from one caused a rooftop fire in a residential area.

Trump disputes Khamenei's victory claim
Shafaq News - Washington On Saturday, US President Donald Trump challenged Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's assertions about winning the recent war with Israel, expressing skepticism about their accuracy. In a post on Truth Social, Trump described Khamenei's claim as false, stressing that the Iranian leader is aware it does not reflect reality. 'He knows it's not true,' Trump wrote, while also mentioning being fully aware of Khamenei's location during the conflict but choosing not to authorize US or Israeli forces to target him. Trump further revealed that, in the final phase of the war, he requested Israel to recall a large number of aircraft that were en route to Tehran, highlighting its efforts to explore possible measures, including easing sanctions on Iran, aimed at giving the country a chance to recover.

Lebanese Tech Expert Majed Jaber Warns On Hizbullah's Al-Manar TV: Israel Signed 'Massive Contracts' With Google And OpenAI, Receives All The Data We Enter Online, Which Helps It Identify Hizbullah Me
On June 7, 2025, Lebanese tech expert Majed Jaber appeared on Al-Manar TV (Hizbullah–Lebanon), where he warned viewers that Israel can access people's information through AI apps and phone use and identify them as members of Hizbullah. He warned that when Lebanese users sign into Google, all their data is sent to "the Israeli enemy." Jaber claimed that everything users enter into ChatGPT is sent to Israel, which he said has signed "massive contracts" with OpenAI. He stated that Israel operates a cloud infrastructure called "Nimbus," which he alleged stores data from social media and personal devices. To view the clip, clip below: Majed Jaber: "We all use ChatGPT, but everything you put into ChatGPT goes to Israel. Israel has signed massive contracts with OpenAI. According to these contracts, all the information about Lebanese and other people goes to... They have a cloud Nimbus. They store there all the data from social media and from your devices. They have even signed contracts with Google. [...] "The AI [system] receives all the data and stores it. It connects everything through algorithms. The deep analysis that takes place in the heart of the AI is very advanced. If it monitors a person, how does it know if that person is part of the Resistance or not? It inspects the nature of that person's communications and creates a profile of him. Through his phone number, it detects all the people he has called. His picture, the nature of his posts, and even his movements – it stores everything. Then the algorithms decide whether he belongs to the Resistance or not, and he supports it or not. If he is not a Resistance member, it creates a profile of him. Therefore, we need to be careful not to say everything on our phones. We must not say everything to AI apps."
