One week after successfully defending both NXT Women's Championships, Stephanie Vaquer was forced to relinquish one of the titles this evening.
This week's episode of WWE NXT kicked off with General Manager Ava in the ring with double champion Stephanie Vaquer. Ava declared that the NXT Women's division needed to keep its focus on both titles and to do so, Vaquer needed to relinquish the Women's North American Championship.
Vaquer agreed to relinquish the championship as long as she could pick her opponent to defend her NXT Women's Championship against at Stand & Deliver during WrestleMania weekend.

This led to both Jordynne Grace and Jaida Parker coming out to ringside, both trying to lay claim to this title shot. Vaquer told the two women they needed to figure things out, which led to a brawl between Grace and Parker.
The vacant Women's North American Championship will be up for grabs in a six-way ladder match later this month at NXT Stand & Deliver.

Nashua's Triple H pays tribute to Hulk Hogan after WWE legend dies. What he said.

Famous wrestler and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) executive Triple H spoke out recently after Hulk Hogan's passing. The 71-year-old professional wrestling legend, whose real name was Terry Bollea, died on July 24, 2025, and many public figures have memorialized the late athletic entertainer, including Paul Levesque, the chief content officer of the WWE, also known as Triple H. Levesque, born and raised in Nashua, New Hampshire, made a post on Instagram honoring Bollea's legacy as a WWE superstar. "WWE would not be where it is today without the larger-than-life characters that compete in the ring … and few, if any, loomed larger than Terry 'Hulk Hogan' Bollea," Levesque said. Here's what else Levesque said about Bollea. Triple H on Hulk Hogan's passing Levesque, like Bollea, was also a popular wrestler in the WWE and remembered one moment he shared with the departed wrestler in the Instagram post, posting a 2002 photo of himself and Bollea in a wrestling ring as well as a series of photos of Bollea as Hulk Hogan. "He was the archetype of what it meant to be a 'Superstar' - a global sensation that inspired millions to work hard at whatever it was they wanted to accomplish and a look that made him recognizable to fans around the world," Levesque said. Bollea was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame twice, the first time in 2005 by Sylvester Stallone as Hulk Hogan, and the second time as "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan as part of the New World Order, a wrestling faction Bollea formed with Kevin Nash and the late Scott Hall. "Hulk Hogan, clad in red and yellow or nWo black and white, was simply put, iconic," Levesque said. "As a Real American or the leader of one of the industry's biggest factions, he transcended and elevated the entire business to heights never before seen - in every country and on every continent." The WWE executive went on to say that his family gives their condolences to the Bollea family as well as friends and fans of the deceased entertainer. Rin Velasco is a trending reporter. With multi-platinum rapper Cardi B set to host SummerSlam this weekend, WWE superstar Chelsea Green has a big idea for the Grammy-winning artist. In a new interview, Green pitched the idea of them forming a tag team to challenge for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships. Speaking with Josh Martinez of Z100 on the Superstar Crossover podcast, Green made her case for the dream team. She stated that the two of them together would be an unstoppable force. Chelsea G and Cardi B? In her typical, confident fashion, Chelsea Green claimed that the SummerSlam host is already a massive fan of hers. She used this as the basis for her pitch to team up and go after the current tag team champions, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. "I know she's a fan girl of me. She absolutely loves me, so maybe she should hop on over, and we should tag team," Green said. "I feel like maybe Chelsea G and Cardi B versus... I mean, really, anyone, but I definitely want to go for the champs, the tag champs." A Perfect Character Pitch The comments are a perfect extension of Chelsea Green's on-screen character. Since returning to WWE, she has portrayed an entitled, "Karen"-like persona who constantly complains to management and believes she is the biggest star in the women's division, despite her mixed win-loss record. Her belief that a global superstar like Cardi B "absolutely loves" her and should team with her is a delusional but hilarious example of her character's inflated ego. LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - OCTOBER 11: A WWE logo is shown on a screen before a WWE news conference at T-Mobile Arena on October 11, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was announced that WWE wrestler Braun Strowman will face heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury and WWE champion Brock Lesnar will take on former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez at the WWE's Crown Jewel event at Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on October 31. More Green previously found success with this persona when she teamed with Sonya Deville and later Piper Niven to win the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. More news: WWE Superstar Announces Retirement Match A History of Celebrity Tag Matches While Green's pitch is in-character, it is not outside the realm of possibility for WWE. The company has a long and successful history of featuring celebrities in matches at their biggest events. From Mr. T teaming with Hulk Hogan in the main event of the first WrestleMania to Bad Bunny's universally acclaimed performance at WrestleMania 37, celebrity involvement is a cornerstone of WWE's entertainment strategy. This year's SummerSlam will even feature a massive celebrity tag team match, as the musician Jelly Roll will team with Randy Orton to face Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul. Cardi B, who is a well-known and vocal fan of professional wrestling, would be a perfect candidate to follow in their footsteps. Her social media interactions with various superstars over the years have shown she has a genuine passion for the business, which is a key ingredient for a successful celebrity crossover. While a match is unlikely to happen this weekend, fans will be watching Cardi B's hosting duties very closely. More WWE News: For more on WWE, head to Newsweek Sports.

Is Hulk Hogan's classic action figure set to make a comeback? Everything you need to know

By Aman Shukla Published on July 28, 2025, 22:06 IST Last updated July 28, 2025, 22:09 IST Wrestling fans, get ready for a nostalgic trip down memory lane — the iconic Hulk Hogan action figure is making a grand return! For years, Hulk Hogan toys were a staple in homes across the U.S., especially the classic LJN action figure that became a must-have for any wrestling-loving kid in the '80s and '90s. Now, that legendary figure is coming back — and the timing couldn't be more emotional. TMZ Sports reports that the revival of the classic LJN Hulk Hogan figure has been in the works for over a year. In fact, Hogan himself was involved in the process leading up to its reveal. Sadly, his passing last Thursday altered the rollout plans, but the figure is still expected to launch — now as a heartfelt tribute to the wrestling icon. While WWE recently unveiled new figures of stars like Logan Paul, Dusty Rhodes, and John Cena at San Diego Comic-Con, report suggest Hulk Hogan's updated LJN figure could be officially revealed during Monday Night Raw on Netflix. These original Hogan LJN figures have long been prized collectibles. Sealed versions often fetch hundreds of dollars online, and some rare prototypes have been valued at up to a staggering $120,000! There's no official release date yet for the new version, but given the timing and fan anticipation, it's expected to fly off shelves the moment it drops.
