While Travis Kelce supports from the sidelines, Taylor Swift makes one of the biggest deal of her career
Taylor Swift
may not have dropped a new single in 2025, but she just made the biggest power play of her career—and she did it all while enjoying some well-earned downtime with boyfriend and NFL superstar
Travis Kelce
.
In a year absent of chart releases, Swift has quietly reshaped music industry norms, all while keeping the spotlight burning through her personal life.
A love story offstage: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce dominate headlines in a quieter 2025
After the explosive success of 2024's Eras Tour and the emotionally charged The Tortured Poets Department, Taylor Swift shifted gears this year—stepping back from stages and cameras to prioritize her private life. Much of that time has been spent alongside Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, with whom she's shared travel getaways, family moments, and an unfiltered romance that fans can't stop following.
Though she's remained out of the recording booth, Swift and her official fan platform, Taylor Nation, surprised fans with a nostalgic limited-edition Speak Now (Taylor's Version) merch drop that reignited emotional connections. One fan gushed, 'So many memories attached to one jacket. So, so special!'
But the headline that truly sent shockwaves through the industry came in May—when Swift announced she had fully reclaimed the master recordings for her first six albums: Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989, and Reputation.

$360 million later, Taylor Swift makes music history—and a bold statement on artist rights
After years of legal battles, re-recordings, and public disputes with
Scooter Braun
and Shamrock Capital, Swift sealed the deal reportedly worth $360 million—buying back her legacy without creative or financial restrictions. She called it 'the most rewarding moment of my career,' and even joked about getting a shamrock tattoo to honor the professional integrity of Shamrock Capital.
Her journey toward ownership began in 2019 and has inspired a generation of artists to rethink contract terms and demand control over their art.
While she still has Reputation (Taylor's Version) in progress and her debut album left to re-record, the symbolic and financial win is undeniable.

Taylor Swift's success in 2025 proves that not every hit needs a hook. With Travis Kelce by her side, a fiercely loyal fanbase, and now full control over her music catalog, Swift is scripting a different kind of love story—one where the final chorus is ownership, not obligation.

Renner continued, "Being accused of things you've not done, right? That doesn't feel good to anybody. It certainly doesn't feel good when you're a celebrity and it's known to everybody." Renner later shared that Pacheco's claims were not true. "No, and they happen all the time," he shared. "It's all the salaciousness that happens out there. It's clickbait, and it hurts my feelings, and it dehumanises people," as reported by the New York Post. The Oscar nominee also explained that he ignored the public's reaction when the allegations first emerged. Hyderabad book clubs: Amid doomscrolls & clicks, bibliophiles keep the paperback alive
Several book clubs in Hyderabad are fostering a reading culture by hosting in-person sessions and online calls By: Noyonica Neyogi HYDERABAD: In an age of digital 'doomscrolling', a few clubs in Hyderabad are bringing together readers to revive the habit of reading while turning solitary activity into a lively, community discourse, reports Noyonica Neyogi. Beyond pages Hyderabad You Can Also Check: Hyderabad AQI | Weather in Hyderabad | Bank Holidays in Hyderabad | Public Holidays in Hyderabad Launched in Sept 2024, the turning point for this group came when its founders realised their online community was growing, but in the wrong direction. 'There were many people, but nobody was actually reading anymore, just talking. It wasn't why we started, so we moved offline to keep the focus on books,' said Anirudh Kasibhatla, who co-founded it with Harsha Kandru. Since last Sept, members have been gathering every Sunday morning at KBR Park for in-person reading sessions. For Sai Tejaswi, who recently joined this 23-member string club, it was a gentle nudge back to the habit she'd abandoned. 'I've been reading since childhood, though life's breaks took me away. Here I found a group that welcomes you back without judgment,' said the MBA graduate. Others, like Bhavareju Rutwika, rise early each Sunday just to make it to the park. 'It is a weekly reset. With the peacocks calling, and the cool breeze, I recharge myself for the week ahead.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like American Investor Warren Buffett Recommends: 5 Books For Turning Your Life Around Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo The lit people Six months ago, two women, Unnati Ved and Kalpana Sinha, launched this initiative that reimagined what a book club could be. 'It started when we realised Hyderabad needed a new kind of reading culture; one that didn't stop at skimming or shelving a book,' shared Unnati. 'We wanted a structured forum where every meeting felt like an experience, and not just another casual chat about characters and themes.' The club convenes every third Saturday, with the discussion centred around a single book, carefully curated by the founders, often paired with delightful activities. What started with just a few members has now grown into a family of over fifty. 'We plan on inviting a grief counsellor for this month's session to discuss the overarching theme of 'healing' in the 'Tomb of Sand'. It will be quite different from previous gatherings; like when we organised a scavenger hunt based on the 'Honjin Murders',' added Unnati. Long-time member AsiyaShervani, an independent consultant, said: 'Clubs like this are keeping the reading habit alive.' Sanjay Anand, a retired professional and member, said habit hasn't waned, only the medium has changed: 'I don't believe the younger generation has stopped reading. They have just moved from paperbacks to Kindles and other digital formats.' Communitie Hyderabad Founders Sanjana Datla and Shreya Pamulapati have embraced both online and offline models. Since April 2024, the club has been running 'silent-reading' video calls every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On these days, members join hourlong sessions with their microphones muted and videos on. 'Sessions like these help many readers stay accountable and build a consistent reading habit,' said Sanjana. On Saturdays, members meet to discuss their reads. 'Recently, we toured the Qutb Shahi tombs with a guide to tie Hyderabad's history to our book,' she added. In May, 'Communitie Hyderabad' joined other groups for 'Cover-to-Cover,' a literary fest, to bring Telugu and other vernacular authors into the spotlight.

Sonam Kapoor's Wimbledon final look is the fashion grand slam we didn't know we needed
While Jannik Sinner's Wimbledon victory grabbed headlines, Sonam Kapoor stole the show in the style stakes. The actress sported a cream pinstriped Neeva suit, complete with vintage Manolo Blahnik heels and Jessica McCormack jewelry. Playful brooches, including a mini tennis racquet and strawberry, added a whimsical touch, solidifying her status as a fashion champion. Yes, Jannik Sinner may have taken home his first Wimbledon title after defeating Carlos Alcaraz in a headline-grabbing final, but when it came to style, all eyes were on Sonam Kapoor. The actress and fashion icon made a standout appearance at Centre Court for the men's final, and let's just say, she didn't come to play. Sonam showed up in a cream pinstriped suit that was equal parts polished and powerful. The outfit featured flared cotton-linen-wool blend trousers (price tag: ₹92,000) and a matching double-breasted blazer (₹2.8 lakh) from Ralph Lauren and it was every bit as luxe as it sounds. What made the look truly Sonam, though, were the thoughtful, personal touches. She paired the suit with vintage reworked Manolo Blahnik heels and layered on some beautifully understated jewellery by Jessica McCormack. But the real charm? Two playful brooches, a mini tennis racquet and a strawberry, plucked straight from her own collection, adding a little Wimbledon whimsy to the ultra-tailored outfit. She kept the rest of her look simple and elegant - black sunglasses, sleek hair, and soft makeup. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Dementia Has Been Linked To a Common Habit.
