Stick trailer: Owen Wilson seeks redemption through young prodigy in sports comedy seres
The trailer starts with a scene in a bar, where Cahill is presumably drowning his sorrows after a long day when he is recognised by Mitts (Marc Maron). Much to Cahill's dismay, Mitts proceeds to narrate the story of his downfall to the entire bar, and how he had a breakdown on live television during a tournament. To add injury to insult, he does this while laughing at him and saying, 'Bet you can't even look at a golf club after a train wreck like that, right?'

The scene transitions to a montage of the life of Stick (Pryce Cahill's moniker), where he reflects, 'Things were supposed to be different for me. I look in the mirror, and I would not bet on the guy.' This montage also depicts his divorce proceedings, revealing his struggle to cope and his denial. He is even seen receiving a lackluster pep talk from Mitts, the same man who previously insulted him. Finally, Cahill is shown teaching golf to seniors, his attention suddenly captured by the crisp sound of a well-hit ball.
He follows the sound and discovers a kid who, in Cahill's words, 'swings the golf club like a dream,' and to no one's surprise, he tries to convince the kid to become his student. In a twist no one saw coming, the young talent had a tough childhood, and his father, who taught him golf, has passed away. Cahill convinces his mother to let him take the kid to the US amateur championship and tells her that he thinks 'he can win it all'.
The main narrative of the series seems to be pretty clear, as Pryce Cahill will try to coach the kid to glory while he will learn some truths about himself along the way.
The show, also starring Peter Dager, Lili Kay and Judy Greer, will start streaming from June 4 on Apple TV+.

Is Lewis Hamilton Ready for F1: The Movie Sequel? Racer Reacts to USD 144M Global Box Office Hit Starring Brad Pitt
Seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton says he wants to take things slow when it comes to a sequel to the new F1 movie, which just had a huge box office debut. Hamilton, who worked as an executive producer on the film, spoke to reporters on Thursday, July 3, ahead of the British Grand Prix. He made it clear he doesn't want to jump into another movie too soon. The F1 film, starring Brad Pitt as a seasoned driver making a comeback, opened big with USD 55.6 million in North America and USD 144 million globally over its first weekend. This makes it Apple's biggest box-office opening yet, according to studio numbers released Sunday. Hamilton says now is not the time for a sequel 'We literally just finished it, so I think the last thing we want right now is a sequel,' Hamilton said. He shared how much effort went into the project, which took four years to make. 'It was a lot of work, particularly for (director Joseph Kosinski). It's time away from your family, it's time away from your kids, and also you need this to just simmer for a while, you know. Like, let's enjoy it.' The Ferrari driver stated that rushing another movie could ruin the quality. 'I think the worst thing we probably could do is to rush into doing a sequel,' he said. 'Most sequels are way worse, and so we don't need to rush it. I think if we do do a sequel, I would say let's really, really take our time in getting it even better.' Here's why Hamilton wants a 'Debrief' like F1 Lewis Hamilton also wants to apply lessons from racing to filmmaking. He said he's asking for a 'debrief' on the F1 movie, just like teams do after every race. 'Let's review what we did, what we could have done better,' he said. 'I don't know if they ever do that in the movie business, but it's something obviously I've learned from here.' The F1 movie's strong box office shows how much fans want to see the racing world on the big screen. Having a big star like Brad Pitt and Hamilton behind the scenes helped draw crowds. The movie's success also shows Apple's growing push into major film releases. While fans may want a sequel soon, Hamilton believes it's better to wait and make sure it's done right. For now, he says everyone should enjoy what they created before thinking about what comes next.

Brad Pitt Weighs in on F1 Sequel Possibility and Why Ford v Ferrari With Tom Cruise Didn't Take Off
F1: The Movie is not slowing down, and Brad Pitt is enjoying all the fun that's coming his way. The film opened at a whopping USD 144 million, shattering all previous expectations. There are talks of the stars returning for a second round, and the makers behind the film are already discussing how they can continue the series. Now, Brad Pitt, who plays Sonny Hayes on screen, is saying how the future for his character looks bleak, but he's not saying no. Brad Pitt reveals opinions on Sonny Hayes' future if F1 film returns with sequel 'I would want to drive again, selfishly speaking,' he revealed to The National, affirming the doubts about his interest in a possible return. As the ending of the film saw partial closure, he does not know how bright it can be for him after all. 'F1 is still the focus. It needs to be on Joshua Pierce – Damson Idris's character – and the rest of the team fighting for a championship. Where does Sonny fit in? I'm not sure.' He does, however, have some suggestions about his character's plans, 'Sonny's probably out on the Bonneville Salt Flats, setting speed records or something like that. So I'm not sure beyond that, just yet.' Brad Pitt Reveals Why the Ford v Ferrari Film Ended While the two were all set to reunite after roles in very few projects, including Interview With a Vampire, in Ford v Ferrari, it never became a reality. The Fight Club star shared how racing was tied to their decisions, and it was Tom Cruise who ended up backing off. He shed light on the timeline of the events, with it being 10 years before the Christian Bale-Matt Damon starrer saw the light of day. But there was one crucial detail that had it canceled. 'What it came down to is that we both wanted to drive, and [Tom] wanted to play Shelby, and I wanted to play Ken Miles. And when Tom realized that Carroll Shelby would not be driving much in the movie, it didn't come through. Speaking about possibly bringing on the Mission Impossible star along for the next part of the Formula One film, he added, 'I'm not sure how that's going to work [in a potential 'F1' sequel], but we'll give it a go. I'd love to.'
