And then in the biggest display of petulance yet he posted a picture of himself on Instagram wearing Marcus Rashford's Aston Villa Shirt. But Garnacho is far from an outlier when it comes to pushing for a transfer. In the age of Social Media, it's easy to publicly vent frustrations. Dislike and Unsubscribe Rashford fueled the situation further by liking Garnacho's post. That came on the back of very public fall-outs with managers Erik Ten hag and Ruben Amorim. He was banned from the club's training ground for a eventually got his way and sealed a record-breaking move to Chelsea. One Strike and You're Out There's a star studded list of players who have taken the most extreme action - refusing to play - and it usually works. Whilst at Chelsea, Thibault Courtois simply refused to show up to pre-season training, leaving the club little choice but to cash in and allow the goalkeeper to secure the move to Real Madrid that he craved. Advertisement In his desire to leave Leicester, with whom he had recently won the EPL, Riyad Mahrez went on strike not once, but twice until the club eventually relented and sold him to Manchester City where he added trophies galore to his collection. The list goes Nunez, Dimitri Payet, Luis Suarez, Laurent Koscielny, Marcos Tojo, William Gallas are among the others that either refused to play or in some cases even train. All rode bad press train for a while but eventually got the moves they craved. Kane and Unable It's not without risk with the most high profile example being Harry Kane. When Manchester City revealed their interest in Kane in 2021, the striker failed to show up for Spurs pre-season tour to try and force the move. But Chairman Daniel Levy stood firm and it would be another two years before he finally departed. By that time City had signed Haaland; Kane later left for Bayern Munich and missed out on the domestic silverware he had hoped for. Juventus confident of signing Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho

Juventus are confident of winning the race for Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, as per reports. Chelsea's failure to find an agreement with Sancho over a permanent transfer and their subsequent decision to send him back to Old Trafford has given INEOS a major headache. Advertisement Sancho is one of the highest-paid players at United but Ruben Amorim has no plans to reintegrate him into the first-team squad. Now, the club's hierarchy are looking to find a club willing to sign the Englishman and pay them a reasonable transfer fee for his services. Chelsea were obligated to sign him permanently for £25 million but they instead paid a £5m penalty fee to get out of the agreement. At the moment, Fenerbahce and Juventus have emerged as his strongest suitors, and a report in Italy suggests the Old Lady are in the driving seat for his signature. According to journalist Giovanni Albanese (via the Turkish outfit have 'taken a step back' as they feel United are nearing an agreement with Juve for Sancho. Advertisement The 25-year-old has 'approved' of a move to Turin but his wages remain a huge obstacle. He is currently on a €10m a year salary. However, the Serie A giants continue to work tirelessly to sign Sancho and are understood to be looking to sell Nicolás González to fund their pursuit. There's a feeling of confidence at Juventus due to Sancho's desire to join their project as well as United's willingness to find a compromise over his fee. United are also keen on adding new attackers to their ranks, having held talks to sign Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford. Amorim is also reported to be interested in AC Milan's Rafael Leao but any possible move may rely on United offloading the likes of Sancho and Marcus Rashford.
