Alden Richards, Marian Rivera touched by message of GMA's 75th anniversary station ID

Alden Richards and Marian Rivera could not help but be touched by the message of GMA Network's 75th anniversary station ID, titled "Forever One with the Filipino." The station ID, which was released on Monday, featured Alden and Marian alongside the biggest and brightest Kapuso stars and personalities who honored and thanked all of the Kapuso viewers who supported the network for more than seven decades. In Nelson Canlas' report in "24 Oras" Tuesday, Alden shared that the network would not be where it is today if not for its viewers. "If really not for them, wala naman talagang GMA. If walang naniwala, walang nagtiwala, at walang sumuporta sa network, hindi siya aabot ng 75 years," he said. For Marian, it also meant a lot to be reunited with fellow artists and personalities in the making of the station ID. "That moment na nandun lahat ang artista ay masaya kaming makita silang lahat," the Kapuso Primetime Queen said. The station ID also featured multi-awarded broadcast journalist Jessica Soho, Kapuso Comedy Genius Michael V., GMA integrated News pillar Mel Tiangco, Heart Evangelista, Michael V., Jennylyn Mercado, Dennis Trillo, and many more beloved artists and personalities. It was set to the theme song "Isa Sa Puso ng Pilipino," which was performed by Julie Anne San Jose and other Kapuso singers, accompanied by the Orchestra of the Filipino Youth. As for Marian and Alden, the two stars currently work together in "Stars on the Floor," with Marian serving as a judge and Alden as host. They also graced the recent GMA Gala 2025, with Marian accompanied by none other than Dingdong Dantes. The annual event gathered GMA's brightest stars and special guests to celebrate the network's milestone 75th anniversary and raise funds for the GMA Kapuso Foundation. —CDC, GMA Integrated News

Jak Roberto on Barbie Forteza, Jameson Blake's growing closeness: 'Bagay'

Jak Roberto showed nothing but support for the blossoming closeness between Barbie Forteza and Jameson Blake. According to Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras," Tuesday, Jak and Jameson became friends during an appearance on "It's Showtime." When asked about Barbie and Jameson's sweetness, Jak said, "Bagay. Bagay. Tsaka it's about time." Jak also revealed that he and Jameson have already talked about the actress. "Sabi ko kay Jameson, kung ready ka na—kasi may mga deep talks kami ni Jameson—sabi ko sa kaniya, mabait si Barbie. Alagaan mo lang," he said. In July, it can be recalled that the Kapuso Primetime Princess clarified that she and Jameson are just friends. Meanwhile, Jameson had "no comment" on their real score. Barbie Forteza wants to do more horror projects after 'P77'

Barbie Forteza's performance in "P77" has been getting rave reviews from viewers and critics alike. The film is her first solo lead role in the horror genre, and the Kapuso Primetime Princess showed why she's one of the best actresses of her generation. On the sidelines of the GMA Gala 2025, Barbie told GMA News Online that she wants to do more horror projects in the future. "It's my favorite genre to watch and it's such a joy na ako 'yung pinapanood ko sa genre na gusto ko," she said. Barbie said her heart is full after seeing all the praise for "P77." "We did the movie a year ago and now we're just so overwhelmed with all the good reviews the film has been receiving," she said. "It's such a wonderful film, I hope more people get to watch it, more people get to see it. There's a lot of life lessons, realizations, in the guise of horror, of course," she added. Barbie stars in the film as Luna Caceres, who takes up a cleaning job in a mysterious penthouse. Other cast members include Euwenn Mikaell, Gina Pareño, JC Alcantara, Jackie Lou Blanco, Carlos Siguion-Reyna, and more. P77 is directed by Derrick Cabrido and produced by GMA Pictures. It is still showing in cinemas nationwide.
