Jak Roberto showed nothing but support for the blossoming closeness between Barbie Forteza and Jameson Blake.
According to Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras," Tuesday, Jak and Jameson became friends during an appearance on "It's Showtime."
When asked about Barbie and Jameson's sweetness, Jak said, "Bagay. Bagay. Tsaka it's about time."
Jak also revealed that he and Jameson have already talked about the actress.
"Sabi ko kay Jameson, kung ready ka na—kasi may mga deep talks kami ni Jameson—sabi ko sa kaniya, mabait si Barbie. Alagaan mo lang," he said.
In July, it can be recalled that the Kapuso Primetime Princess clarified that she and Jameson are just friends.
Meanwhile, Jameson had "no comment" on their real score.
"I would just say na we're just enjoying each other's company. She's a really good person and, ayun, we have common interests," he said.
The two were spotted holding hands at the GMA Gala 2025.
In January, Barbie announced that she and Jak had already broken up after seven years together. —Carby Rose Basina/MGP, GMA Integrated News

Josh Ford, Kira Balinger react to 'healthiest ship' comment from PBB fans

The pair of Josh Ford and Kira Balinger is one of the fan ships formed in the "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition." Dubbed KiSh after their duo name, Josh and Kira were actually the OG love team of the season. Their closeness developed early on inside Bahay ni Kuya, as they were each other's first duo. Several fans have also called them the "healthiest ship" that came out of the PBB collab, as their fans rarely get involved in shipping wars and their bond has been true inside and outside PBB. "Thank you for all of those kind words sa mga nagsasabi ng ganun, we're really just chill. I'm just really happy na sobrang tibay ng friendship namin," Kira told GMA News Online on the sidelines of the GMA Gala 2025. "We're just having fun as it goes, just going with the flow, positive lang, no bad vibes," Josh added. The Kapamilya actress also jokingly called the Kapuso actor the "Great Wall of Josh" when told about fans noticing his "bakod" skills when it comes to Kira. "Hindi ko nga rin po napapansin pero sa mga edit na nakikita ko bumabakod pala ko," Josh said. While Josh is not being shipped to another housemate, some fans are shipping Kira to Emilio Daez and even Will Ashley. Asked for their reaction, Josh and Kira said it's totally fine. "Of course it's ok naman, we love the fans, we love the fandoms, and I'm sure hindi lang naman sila 'yung sinusuportahan nila, pati na rin kaming lahat," Josh said. "Happy shipping," Kira added. Josh and Kira also said they are manifesting for a KiSh project. "I really do hope na mangyari 'yun. Kahit magkaiba kami ng network, I'm sure the collab—colLOVE—will happen. Together with their fellow housemates, Josh and Kira will entertain fans in The Big ColLOVE fan con at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Sunday. Tickets for the event are already sold out, but fans can still avail of livestream access. —CDC, GMA Integrated News

Eugene Domingo says audiences can expect her funny side in 'Into the Woods' role

Thanks to projects like "Ang Babae sa Septic Tank," "Kimmy Dora," and "Dear Uge," Eugene Domingo has firmly established herself as a bankable comedienne. And being cast in 'Into the Woods,' as Jack's Mother, Eugene is set to somehow lighten up the mood of the play that famously shows the dark sides of fairytales and people's wishes. In an interview with GMA News Online, Eugene said she will still include her comedic side, while still staying true to the material. 'Meron [na comedy], hindi naman natin papabayaan 'yon,' she said. 'And also because 'Into the Woods' is written in such a way na, may mga points na 'ah, that's painfully funny,' because it's really funny. You will just be caught unaware na 'Oh my god, nakakatawa 'yun ah.' Marami siyang moments na ganun,' Eugene added. According to Eugene her interpretation of Jack's Mother will be inspired by Filipino mothers, who are 'loud but funny.' 'And at the same time, they will really fight for their children. They will really work hard for survival. They won't let their children, you know, just be out there and be caught by bad elements,' Eugene said. 'Into the Woods' is comprised of a star-studded cast with Lea Salonga as the Witch, her child Nic Chien as Jack, Mark Bautista as Rapunzel's Prince, Nyoy Volante as The Baker, Mikkie Bradshaw-Volante as The Baker's Wife, Josh Dela Cruz as Cinderella's Prince or the Wolf, Arielle Jacobs as Cinderella, Carla Guevara-Laforteza as Granny or the Giant, Rody Vera as the Narrator, and many more. "Into the Woods" runs from August 7 to 31 at the at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Circuit Makati. — LA, GMA Integrated News

Ahtisa Manalo says 'no updates or changes' yet on Miss Universe 2025 venue

Ahtisa Manalo has confirmed that no changes have been made so far regarding the venue of the upcoming Miss Universe 2025. In an interview with GMA News Online on the sidelines of GMA Gala 2025, the reigning Miss Universe Philippines said she remains rigorous in her preparations amid the tensions between Thailand and Cambodia. Thailand was announced to be the host country for the upcoming pageant in February. But last month, questions were raised about the venue after Thailand and Cambodia exchanged heavy artillery fire. 'It is still in Thailand so far," Ahtisa said. "That's all we know. We don't know—there are no any other updates yet or any changes, so that's a good thing." As her departure date approaches, Ahtisa emphasized her commitment to do her best to be ready for the stage. 'Few months na lang aalis na ako. So I'm taking every chance that I get para makapag-prepare talaga ako,' Ahtisa said. On Monday, preliminary talks between Thailand and Cambodia defense officials started after the two sides agreed on a ceasefire. Ahtisa was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2025 in May. The international pageant is set for November 21. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
