'RIP Mukul ji," the actress wrote.

Actor Vindu Dara Singh, who worked with Mukul in Son of Sardar, confirmed the news of his death and told India Today, 'After his parent's death, Mukul was keeping to himself. He would not even step out of the house or meet anyone. His health deteriorated in the last few days and he was in the hospital. My condolences to his brother and everyone who knew and loved him. He was an amazing person, and we will all miss him."
Later, Mukul's brother, actor Rahul Dev, also issued a statement and shared that the cremation will take place in Delhi. 'Our brother Mukul Dev passed away peacefully at New Delhi last night. He's survived by his daughter Sia Dev. Missed by siblings Rashmi Kaushal, Rahul Dev and nephew Sidhant Dev. Please join us for cremation at 5 PM," his statement read.

Born on November 30, 1970, in Delhi, he was the son of a former Police Commissioner and the brother of actor Rahul Dev. Mukul's acting career spanned over two decades and included roles in movies such as Wajood (1998), Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena (2005), Yamla Pagla Deewana (2011), and Omerta (2018), for which he also wrote the screenplay.
