Dessert that went viral is pulled from Aussie shelves after potentially dangerous ingredients weren't declared
A popular chocolate that went viral on TikTok has been urgently pulled from Aussie shelves over concerns it failed to declare potentially dangerous allergens.
Choco Bliss has recalled its pistachio-filled Dubai Chocolate bars from stores across Queensland after failing to properly reveal allergens on the label.
The brand operates stores in four Brisbane Westfield centres as well as separate locations in Indooroopilly and Maroochydore.
The recall affects all Dubai Chocolate bars with expiry dates up to and including January 2026.
Dubai Chocolate is one of several Choco Bliss flavours that went viral on TikTok over the past year, known for their rich, United Arab Emirates-inspired fillings.
Other popular varieties include the Konafah milk chocolate and Tiramisu white chocolate bars.
According to a Food Standards recall notice, the product did not declare the presence of pistachio, milk, sesame seeds, and wheat - all of which can trigger reactions in people with allergies or intolerances.
Food Standards advised consumers to return the bar for a full refund and warned those with allergies or intolerances not to eat it.
'Consumers who have a pistachio, milk, sesame seed or wheat allergy or intolerance should not consume this product,' it said.
'Consumers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
'Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.'
Choco Bliss shared the recall on social media and said it would update the label on the affected bar.

Jarome Luai believes his body has sent him a warning to slow down, after spending three nights in hospital with fevers from a staph infection. Luai bounded into NSW State of Origin camp on Monday, one day after leaving hospital with the infection that ruled him out of Wests Tigers' clash with Manly. The 28-year-old is confident the issue won't impact his preparation given NSW don't train until Wednesday, but said he had been given a reminder to look after himself. Luai said his infection came from a chest wound, following a fortnight where he'd been rushed into NSW camp, played in Origin II in Perth on Wednesday and then in Sydney two days later for the Tigers. 'I was probably a bit run down from backing up after Origin, you start to catch things a bit easier,' Luai said. 'At the time when I missed the Tigers game, in my head it was 'I need to get right'. 'But I found out then and there that sometimes you neglect your health and your body, you play injured or sick. 'Sometimes your body reminds you that your health is your wealth. That was the reminder for me.' Luai said he had initially gone to hospital last Thursday aiming to recover in time to play the next day for the Tigers, before spending the next three nights in there. 'I got there and the doctor said it was a lot worse than what we thought it was,' Luai said. 'I had fevers, my whole chest was red and swollen. 'I am feeling a lot better now. I am grateful for that. You take for granted sometimes when you're in good health, so good to be back now.' Luai also wanted to make clear that the infection came from a cut, and not a boil as had been previously suggested. 'When I saw the word boil I was like 'oh man, the boys are gonna roast me',' Luai said. 'Sometimes your body reminds you that your health is your wealth. That was the reminder for me,' Luai (second from right) said 'They're all giving it to me. I'll just cop that on the chin.' NSW coaches had been willing to give Luai until Thursday to train for next Wednesday's series decider, while keen to avoid more disruption this week. The two nurses at the centre of a viral video where they allegedly made violent threats against Israelis have copped further sanctions. Ahmad Rashad Nadir and Sarah Abu Lebdeh have both received a two-year ban from the National Disability Insurance Scheme, four months after they were stood down from their jobs at Bankstown Hospital. The pair were among 133 individuals and businesses banned from working with NDIS participants in the first five months of 2025 for various reasons, the Daily Telegraph reported. They were previously banned from working as nurses nationwide, and the NSW Nursing and Midwifery Council has suspended their registrations. The pair were working at southwest Sydney 's Bankstown Hospital in February when they made the alleged threats in a conversation via online platform Chatruletka. Nadir, 27, is charged with using a carriage service to menace, harass or offend, and possessing a prohibited drug. Lebdeh, 26, is charged with three Commonwealth offences — threatening violence to a group, using a carriage service to threaten to kill, and using a carriage service to menace, harass or offend. The pair are currently before the courts.

Bupa has started compensating affected members, medical providers and hospitals, and has paid $14.3million to parties for more than 4,100 affected claims to date.
