According to its Weather Advisory No. 7 at 5 p.m., the following areas should expect heavy rains over the next few days:

100-200mm: Ilocos Norte, Pangasinan, Zambales, and Bataan
50-100mm: Batanes, Cagayan, Apayao, Abra, Kalinga, Metro Manila, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Benguet, Ifugao, Mountain Province, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, and Occidental Mindoro

LPA off Babuyan Islands now Tropical Depression Bising
The low pressure area off the coast of the Babuyan Group of Islands has developed into Tropical Depression Bising, according to PAGASA early Friday morning. LPA has ‘high' chance of becoming tropical depression
State meteorologists are monitoring a low pressure area (LPA) off the coast of Cagayan, which has a high chance of developing into a tropical depression in the next 24 hours. As of 8 p.m., PAGASA said the LPA was monitored 125 kilometers north northwest of Calayan, Cagayan. The state weather bureau earlier said that if it develops into a tropical depression, it will be given the local name 'Bising.'
