LPA off Babuyan Islands now Tropical Depression Bising
PAGASA said Bising was located west of the Babuyan Islands at 2 a.m.
It is the second tropical cyclone to form inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) this year.

It is moving west northwestward at 10 kilometers per hour. In its 5 p.m. cyclone bulletin, PAGASA said Bising has left PAR, but may reenter by Monday morning. TD Bising exits PAR but may reenter Monday morning
Tropical Depression Bising has left the Philippine Area of Responsibility, but may reenter by Monday morning, state weather bureau PAGASA said. According to its 5 p.m. cyclone bulletin on Friday, PAGASA said Bising was spotted 345 kms west northwest of Calayan, Cagayan. The weather disturbance was moving northwestward at 15kph. It currently has maximum sustained winds of 55 kph and gusts of up to 70 kph. Strong winds were extending outwards up to 250 kms from the center. Bising's location was reported based on PAGASA's tracking as of 4 p.m. No tropical cyclone wind signal (TCWS) was in effect over any part of the country as of posting time. However, PAGASA said Tropical Depression Bising may intensify into a tropical storm within the next 12 hours as it moves over the north of Taiwan. After possible reentry on Monday morning, it may exit the PAR on the afternoon of the same day. "Re-entry to the western boundary of the PAR is possible by Monday (07 July) early morning and it may exit again the northern boundary of PAR on Monday afternoon. The forecast track is highly uncertain and the possibility of a southward shift in track is becoming less likely," the cyclone bulletin read. — VDV, GMA Integrated News

TD Bising slightly intensifies, 3 areas under Signal No. 1
Three areas are now under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 as Tropical Depression (TD) Bising slightly intensified over the west of extreme Northern Luzon, PAGASA said Friday. In its 11 a.m. tropical cyclone bulletin, PAGASA said the center of TD Bising was seen moving 15 kph west southwestward at 280 kilometers west northwest of Calayan, Catagan with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph, gustiness of up to 70 kph, and a central pressure of 1,000 hPa. The following areas have been placed under Signal 1: The western portion of Babuyan Islands (Calayan Isl. and Dalupiri Isl.) The western portion of Ilocos Norte (Pagudpud, Bangui, Burgos, Pasuquin, Dumalneg, Bacarra, Laoag City, Paoay, Currimao, Badoc, Pinili) The northwestern portion of Ilocos Sur (Caoayan, City of Vigan, Santa Catalina, San Vicente, Santo Domingo, Magsingal, San Juan, Cabugao, Sinait, San Ildefonso) PAGASA said that areas under Signal No. 1 may experience strong winds with a speed of 39 to 61 kph within the next 36 hours, with minimal to minor threat to life and property. Bising is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Friday afternoon, with possible re-entry on Sunday morning and re-exit on Monday. The TD may also develop into a tropical storm by Saturday and further intensify as it moves over Taiwan, raising the possibility of raising TWCS No. 2 over Batanes and Babuyan Islands. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
