Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness finalise divorce
People magazine reported overnight that online court records from New York's Suffolk County Supreme Court show that a judgment of divorce was filed on June 12. The case status is now listed as 'Disposed'.
Furness, 69, filed for divorce from Jackman, 56, on May 27, with the filing showing terms of the divorce were uncontested and would only need a sign-off from a judge.
The pair initially announced their separation in September 2023 after a relationship spanning 27 years, beginning when they met while starring in the 1990s ABC drama Correlli.
In the statement, they said their 'journey now is shifting' and they had 'decided to separate to pursue our individual growth'.

While Jackman has made no public comment since, Furness issued an emotional public statement in May amid rumours of Jackman's involvement with fellow actor Sutton Foster, with whom he starred in The Music Man on Broadway in 2022.
Neither has commented publicly about the rumours of their relationship, but the pair has been photographed in public holding hands and kissing over the past six months.
'My heart and compassion goes out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal,' Furness said in a statement in May, when she spoke publicly for the first time.

Natasha Richardson's friend Andy Cohen shares thoughts on widow Liam Neeson dating Pamela Anderson
Natasha Richardson's friend Andy Cohen has given her widow Liam Neeson the seal of approval after he grew close to Pamela Anderson. Liam, 73, and his Naked Gun co-star Pamela, 58, have circled around the speculation that they are couple, insisting they simply had great "chemistry" on set. However, should they be an item, Andy would be thrilled for Liam because the former Playboy Bunny shares similar qualities to the late Parent Trap star - who tragically died in 2009, at the age of 45, following a skiing accident in Canada. Speaking on his SiriusXM radio show where the pair were guests, he said: 'Natasha was a dear friend of mine and I'm gonna tell you something. I and all of the friends in this circle are very much stanning whatever this is. 'As I was telling him at the premiere party, I go, 'Liam, she is an independent woman just like Tash was. She loves to cook. She has her own thing going on. She has two boys.'' Andy insists "this just works" as Pamela has been through a lot with her sex tape scandal and whirlwind marriage to ex-husband Tommy Lee - with whom she has sons Brandon, 29, and Dylan, 27 - and managed to reinvent her career. He added: 'I mean, this just works, and you know, she is a formidable human being, Pamela Anderson. She really is. What she's been through and how she kind of reclaimed herself and redefined herself." The Love Actually star has two sons, Micheál, 30, and Daniel, 28, with late wife Natasha. He previously confessed to being 'madly in love' with Pamela as he gushed about working with her. He told PEOPLE: 'With Pamela, first off, I'm madly in love with her. She's just terrific to work with. I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with.'

Liam Neeson gushes over Pamela Anderson amid Hollywood stars' blossoming romance
It turns out, even Liam Neeson can't resist a plot twist. The Taken star, 73, declared he was finished with dating in a candid People cover story last October — but fast-forward nine months, and he's reportedly in the 'early stages' of a romance with co-star Pamela Anderson. According to a source from the set of The Naked Gun, the two are 'enjoying each other's company,' and 'it's sincere — they're clearly smitten.' Their flirtation has been playing out in public, too. On July 29, the pair shared a playful PDA moment during a Today show appearance, feigning surprise after being 'caught' mid-make-out by the cameras. A week earlier, Anderson kissed Neeson's cheek at the film's London premiere. The unexpected couple met filming the upcoming reboot of The Naked Gun (in cinemas August 1), where their chemistry reportedly extended beyond the script. But Anderson insists things stayed 'professionally romantic' during production. 'We had many dinners out with the cast,' she told Entertainment Weekly. 'I invited him and his assistant over for romantic dinners with me and my assistant — so our relationship stayed 'professionally romantic' during filming.' Despite the slow burn, Neeson hasn't held back in his praise for the Baywatch star, telling People in 2024: 'I'm madly in love with her. She's just terrific to work with… funny, no ego, and so easy to be around.' Anderson returned the affection, calling Neeson 'the perfect gentleman' who 'brings out the best in you with respect, kindness, and depth of experience.' Neeson, who was married to actress Natasha Richardson until her tragic death in 2009, has previously dated Barbra Streisand, Brooke Shields, and Helen Mirren. Anderson's high-profile exes include Tommy Lee, with whom she shares two sons — Brandon, 29, and Dylan, 27. The pair appeared together at The Naked Gun's New York premiere on July 28, smiling on the red carpet alongside their respective adult children — a fitting sign, perhaps, of something a little more serious.
