Aishwarya Rai was thrown from these 5 blockbusters with Shah Rukh Khan without..., the films are...
In the glitzy and glamorous world of Bollywood, it's often the dazzling and glittering lives of celebrities that come to the forefront. However, their challenges and struggles that happen behind the scenes are often brushed under the carpet. One such story is of India's most celebrated actress who is not only known for her beauty, impeccable acting but also for presenting India on a global stage. Yes, we are talking about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
While now Aishwarya has become a seasoned actress, back in the day, she was dominating the entertainment landscape. But while she was bagging a lot of appreciation and love at the peak of her career, she also underwent a setback that's unknown to many. Dropped without warning
In a throwback interview with Rendezvous with Simi Garewal, Aishwarya Rai revealed that while she was at the top of her game, she was removed from not just one, two, but five major projects all opposite Shah Rukh Khan. And what was even more painful for her was that she didn't get any explanation for the same. These 5 projects included major blockbusters like Chalte Chalte, Kal Ho Naa Ho, and Veer-Zaara, which were written keeping her in mind. She was removed from these roles without any justification, which left her feeling despair, shocked, and hurt.
Expressing her hurt, she said: 'There were a couple of films that were supposed to happen with me. But suddenly they weren't happening, without any reason whatsoever.'
Simi also asked Aishwarya if she decided to step away from those films, she replied: 'No, it wasn't my decision. You obviously are taken aback, confused, and of course hurt. You wonder about it.' Harsh Lesson Learnt
Aishwarya, further expressing her discontent, revealed that this situation opened her eyes to how the industry works. 'You become more aware of what you've heard about, like in terms of situations, people, and the domino effect,' she remarked.
Aishwarya was a big actress at that time who delivered back-to-back hits, and this unfairness was an epitome of the unpredictability and instability of this industry. 'It became obvious that it can happen to me too…with all your apparent box office success or 'secure positioning' in the industry,' she said. Rising with Grace
Despite the professional blows, Aishwarya didn't let the bitterness take over; she rather chose to move on with grace and continued to excel in her career. After that, she delivered powerful performances in films like Dhoom 2, Jodhaa Akbar, and more.

IC Markets Start Now Undo Before portraying the role of a lawyer, I wanted to understand the body language, tone, and confidence that a lawyer exudes. Watching a few courtroom dramas, especially the classic Bollywood movie Aitraaz, gave me great insight, especially about how Kareena's character presents herself in court with quiet strength and strong moral conviction. I took notes on how to build that energy into Riddhi without over dramatising.' She further added, 'It wasn't just about memorising lines—it was about owning that space. I worked with the team on my delivery, rehearsed a lot, and even practised speaking while pacing, just like a real courtroom lawyer. I hope audiences can feel the sincerity and fire that Riddhi brings to the scenes. This track is going to be one of the most empowering chapters for my character yet.' As the show enters this intense legal showdown, the stakes have never been higher. But will Riddhi be able to dismantle Sayli's web of lies and prove Neel's innocence? Or will the courtroom drama tilt in favour of Sayli's manipulative plans?

Aishwarya Rai once romanced with Salman Khan after breaking up with him, was involved in this intimate scene, film is…
It's been over two decades since Sanjay Leela Bhansali gave us all a cinematic masterpiece, Devdas . Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, and Madhuri Dixit, the 2002 epic became a global sensation, celebrated for its grandeur, timeless music, and emotionally charged performances. But very few know, Salman Khan was also part of this iconic film… just not in the way you'd expect. The hidden cameo Though Devdas is remembered for Shah Rukh and Aishwarya's searing chemistry, film critic Anupama Chopra's book quietly reveals a forgotten anecdote: Salman Khan appeared in a scene during the song More Piya . The moment is romantic—a barefoot Aishwarya, a thorn, and a gentle gesture. But here's the twist: the scene was performed with no visible faces. Sanjay Leela Bhansali rolled the camera During the filming of More Piya , Salman Khan, despite a recent breakup with Aishwarya, visited the set out of friendship with Bhansali. As Shah Rukh and Aishwarya were preparing for the scene, Salman reportedly stepped forward and enacted the moment himself, guiding the actors. In a spontaneous decision, Bhansali let the camera roll as Salman delicately enacted Dev removing a thorn from Paro's foot. Though only hands and feet are shown, the final cut of the film features this emotionally nuanced shot—an intimate moment captured between two former lovers, without showing their faces. This became the last time Salman and Aishwarya shared screen space. Their relationship had ended by the time Devdas was being shot. Still, Salman's presence on set and this quiet contribution speak volumes about the emotional layers behind the camera. For Bhansali, perhaps it was cinema above all. For viewers, it remains an untold chapter—until now.
