Nutella unveils its first-ever new flavor in 60 years: Here's when it will hit U.S. shelves
Nutella is making history with the launch of its first-ever new flavor in six decades. Since debuting in 1964, the beloved hazelnut spread has become a household favorite worldwide, known for its signature taste and loyal fan base. Despite its massive popularity, Nutella has never officially launched a new flavor—until now, marking a major moment for the iconic brand.

In a press statement earlier this week, Ferraro, the parent company, revealed a new Peanut Nutella flavor. The company called the new flavour 'a bold yet natural evolution for a product rooted in tradition but ready to surprise,' adding that it 'combines the distinctive creaminess of Nutella cocoa hazelnut spread with the delicious taste of roasted peanuts,' as reported by the Daily Mail.
The Chicago Tribune revealed that the production of the new product will also begin in the US at its Franklin Park and Ferraro will 'invest $75 million in the plant'. This will also generate new job opportunities. Seth Gonzalez, Nutella's senior director of marketing, clarified that the new product should not be mistaken for peanut butter. He told Tribune, 'We didn't want it to be another peanut butter; there's a reason why cocoa is still connected as a peanut-and-cocoa formula, instead of just peanuts.'

The new Nutella spread is set to hit U.S. store shelves by spring 2026—but there's a catch. Despite global excitement, the new flavor will be available exclusively in the United States. Michael Lindsay, who is the President and Chief Business Officer of Ferrero North America, shared, 'Developing Nutella and Ferrero Rocher products specifically for the North American market represents a defining moment in our company's history,' as reported by the Daily Mail.
He added that these new products are designed to connect with both 'loyal fans' and 'new consumers', strengthening Ferrero's leading position in North America

Matty Healy calls himself 'best songwriter'; takes playful swipe at Taylor Swift: 'I'm being sincere'
During The 1975's latest headline show, Matty Healy called himself a 'generational wordsmith' and seemed to poke fun at Taylor Swift 's album 'The Tortured Poets Department'. In his usual cheeky style, the 36-year-old musician used a bit of trademark stage humour at the Glastonbury Festival in England on Friday, 27 June. He set the mood for his band's hit song 'Chocolate' by flashing gibberish lyrics on the festival's main screen. According to a video by Variety, Healy told the crowd before the song, 'I want to be sincere for a second with everybody. What this moment is making me realise is that, yeah… what this moment's making me realise is that, and I'm being sincere, I probably am the best.' Joking about being a poet 'I'm probably the best songwriter of my generation. The best, what do we say, a poet, ladies and gentlemen, is what I am,' Healy added, with a clear hint of sarcasm. 'Generational wordsmith. I just wanted to remind you, you know, in the next couple of minutes, these lyrics, this poetry, I bleed for you. Alright? Just take that in, alright? Take it away, boys.' The band then launched into 'Chocolate', with the crowd laughing along at the nonsense subtitles. According to the Daily Mail, Healy later told fans he was 'only joking about being a poet'. A subtle nod to Taylor Swift? This comes more than a year after Swift put out 'The Tortured Poets Department', which included songs about her brief time with Healy. Tracks like 'Guilty as Sin?', 'Fresh Out the Slammer', 'I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can)', and 'loml' seemed to touch on their short romance. The two dated for a few weeks in 2023 before splitting in June. A source told PEOPLE at the time their relationship was 'always casual'. Swift moved on with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, while Healy is now engaged to model Gabbriette Bechtel, after announcing it in June 2024. More music and surprise returns at Glastonbury Elsewhere in their Glastonbury set, The 1975 performed hits like 'Somebody Else', 'It's Not Living (If It's Not with You)', 'Give Yourself a Try', and 'About You'. The festival's other big acts include Olivia Rodrigo on Sunday, 29 June, and Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts on Saturday, 28 June. Friday's gig was The 1975's first since wrapping up their 'Still… at Their Very Best' tour in March. Meanwhile, two years after he struggled to finish his 2023 Glastonbury set due to his Tourette's syndrome, Lewis Capaldi made a surprise return to the stage. The singer told fans it was 'so good to be back' and joked 'second time's a charm'.

Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna's Kuberaa crosses Rs 75 Crore mark in India, continues dream run in North America
Sekhar Kammula's Kuberaa, starring Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna, has achieved significant box office success. The socio-political thriller crossed Rs 75 crore in India within nine days. It also performed well in North America, exceeding US $2.2 million. The film's success is attributed to its content and the actors' popularity. Kuberaa continues to draw audiences and maintain steady collections. Sekhar Kammula 's Kuberaa is proving to be a solid theatrical success both in India and overseas. The socio-political thriller starring Dhanush , Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna has officially crossed the Rs 75 crore mark at the Indian box office in just nine days, while simultaneously maintaining impressive momentum in the North American market. Kuberaa opened to strong numbers on its first Friday, collecting Rs 14.75 crore across all languages. Powered predominantly by the Telugu market with Rs 10 crore and Tamil markets contributing Rs 4.5 crore, the film's opening was among the better starts for a Sekhar Kammula directorial. The momentum continued over the weekend with Rs 16.5 crore on Saturday and Rs 17.35 crore on Sunday. By the end of its opening weekend, Kuberaa had amassed Rs 48.6 crore. Despite being content-heavy the film managed to draw audiences consistently, especially in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu. Through the weekdays, as expected, the collections dipped but held reasonably well. Monday brought in Rs 6.8 crore, followed by Rs 5.85 crore on Tuesday, Rs 4.4 crore on Wednesday, and Rs 3.35 crore on Thursday. Kuberaa wrapped up its first week with an impressive Rs 69 crore net collection in India. Entering its second weekend, Kuberaa faced new competition with multiple films like Vishnu Manchu's Kannappa to Brad Pitt 's F1 to Kajol 's Maa hitting the theaters along with a strong roll over by Aamir Khan 's Sitaare Zameen Par. Despite this the film still managed a respectable Rs 2.5 crore on its second Friday. According to early estimates, the film witnessed a healthy jump of over 80 % on Saturday, earning Rs 4.25 crore. This brings its 9-day total to Rs 75.75 crore, a strong achievement for a film of this genre and budget. In addition to its robust domestic performance, Kuberaa has been making waves in international markets, particularly in North America. By Sunday morning, the film's total in the region crossed the US $2.2 million (approx Rs 18.4 crore) mark, comfortably surpassing its breakeven target of US $1.8 million. This makes Kuberaa one of the highest-grossing South Indian films in North America this year and highest grossing from Dhanush and Nagarjuna. The combination of Dhanush's growing global appeal, Nagarjuna's loyal diaspora fanbase, and Rashmika's popularity has evidently worked in favour of the film abroad. With positive word-of-mouth, steady urban audience footfalls Kuberaa is expected to maintain decent collections over the next few days. The film's performance so far reaffirms Sekhar Kammula's reputation for creating commercially viable, socially conscious cinema with wide appeal.
