Yemen Online4 days ago

The US aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN-68), which has been conducting maritime security operations in the South China Sea, has set a course west towards the Middle East, Reuters reported, citing data from the ship tracking system Marine Traffic, News.bg reports.
The flagship of the US Pacific Fleet was scheduled to visit the Vietnamese city of Da Nang on June 20, but the visit was canceled at the last minute. According to sources from "Reuters", the cancellation was imposed due to "an extraordinary operational necessity" announced by the US Embassy in Hanoi. The embassy itself has not yet issued an official comment on the case.
The USS Nimitz recently completed a series of exercises and patrol missions in the South China Sea, as part of the regular presence of the US Navy in the Indo-Pacific region.
The USS Nimitz (CVN-68) is the first ship of the eponymous class of nuclear-powered aircraft carriers of the US Navy and is among the largest warships ever built. Commissioned in 1975, it remains one of the foundations of American naval power. With a length of nearly 333 meters and a displacement of over 100,000 tons, Nimitz is capable of carrying up to 90 combat and support aircraft, including F/A-18 Super Hornet fighters, helicopters and early warning aircraft.
The aircraft carrier is powered by two Westinghouse A4W nuclear reactors, which give it a virtually unlimited operational range and a maximum speed exceeding 30 knots (approximately 56 kilometers per hour). The ship has a crew of over 5,000, including about 3,200 sailors and 2,480 aircrew.
The ship is equipped with advanced self-defense capabilities, including Sea Sparrow anti-aircraft missile systems, Phalanx CIWS automatic weapons systems for close protection, and integrated electronic warfare and reconnaissance systems.
The USS Nimitz is based in Bremerton, Washington, and often serves as the flagship of a strike group that includes escort cruisers, destroyers, and submarines. Despite its age, the ship remains operationally active and fully combat-ready, thanks to regular upgrades and its strategic role in projecting American power at sea.

Hajjah Women's Committee donates over 4 Million YER to Armed Forces in Support of Palestine

Hajjah – Saba: The Women's Committee in Hajjah governorate has donated more than 4.1 million YER in cash and gold—to the Yemeni Armed Forces, including the missile units, unmanned aerial vehicles division, and military manufacturing, as part of efforts to support the Palestinian people and resistance. The contribution came from multiple districts, including al-Shahel, Ka'idna, Mabyan, Shares, Kuhlan Afar, Bani al-Awam, al-Mahabisha, al-Miftah, and Kuhlan al-Sharaf, in addition to the governorate center. According to committee coordinators, the donation coincides with the anniversary of the Day of al-Wilayah, and is seen as a symbolic act of allegiance to God and solidarity with the armed struggle against American, Zionist, and British aggression. Committee representatives emphasized that the financial support was a modest but meaningful expression of gratitude for the heroic efforts of Yemeni forces involved in operations in support of Palestine. They also urged women across the Arab and Islamic world to take a stand and contribute in any way possible to support Gaza and the Palestinian cause. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print

Palestinian Al-Ahrar Movement: "Anyone who thinks resistance in Gaza ended & will raise white flag is delusional"

Gaza – Saba: The Palestinian Al-Ahrar Movement affirmed on Wednesday evening its commitment to "national unity, which we urgently need in the face of this aggression and the war crimes committed against our children , women, amid international silence and full alignment with the Zionist occupation." In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the movement emphasized that "our unity lies in our cohesion, strengthening our steadfastness, and unifying our goal: confronting this occupation by all means, foremost among them armed resistance." The statement noted that "amid the ongoing Zionist aggression and genocide in Gaza, voices have emerged calling for the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) and the Palestinian Authority to take over the administration of the Gaza Strip." In response, the movement asserted that "anyone who thinks the resistance in Gaza has ended and will raise the white flag is delusional. Our heroic fighters continue to shackle the Zionist enemy daily through deadly ambushes, unleashing hell with the stones of David, inflicting human and material losses on their soldiers, equipment, and Gideon forces. Resistance operations remain at their peak despite the scorched-earth policy implemented by the Zionist occupation army in Gaza." The statement added: "Once the war ends and the aggression against our people stops, the next day will be purely Palestinian. Through national consensus—and while we recognize that the PLO has been afflicted by senility and Alzheimer's—there is no harm in it assuming Gaza's affairs after restructuring and rebuilding its internal system, integrating all Palestinian factions, and forming an honorable stance aligned with our people's resilience and sacrifices. Without this, no party, regardless of its status, has the right to lead the Palestinian scene." The movement further stated: "We view these calls, at a time when our people's blood is being shed, as a systematic and reprehensible intelligence operation aimed at exploiting the current security situation to benefit the Authority at the expense of our people's suffering. These voices ignore the Authority's complete silence regarding the crimes of genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza, as well as documented reports and videos implicating some of its elements in security chaos, internal strife, and collaboration with the occupation. Their stance seems to say: 'When will Gaza be entered, even if on the back of a Zionist-American tank?'" The movement concluded: "Those demanding the Authority's rule over Gaza are either blind in sight and insight or complicit in its security, moral, and national collapse. Its disgraceful model of governance in the West Bank is evident to all, with its security agencies' violations against resistance fighters under the guise of 'sacred security coordination,' as declared by its leaders, and its crimes against our people—suppressing rights and freedoms while playing interchangeable roles with the occupation."
