The actress, 57, spoke with PEOPLE about the newest season of her Hulu show, Nine Perfect Strangers, and revealed that two of her kids, daughters Faith Margaret, 14, and Sunday Rose, 16, joined her abroad in Austria while filming.
"My family was in Austria and they loved it," says Kidman. "They were skiing, and so that was great having things for them to do while I was working."
"They would spend a day skiing and I would commute from a little ski lodge to work," says the proud mom.
As for whether her kids were interested in seeing her work or going to set, Kidman admits, "No, not really."

Kidman, who shares her two younger girls with husband Keith Urban, was interviewed by Allure in May and was asked if she likes who she is as a mother.
"I do, actually. Yeah, I'm very close to both my girls," Kidman said of her teenage daughters. "I sit on their beds and discuss the most intimate things; I get to be their guide."
"If they want to tell me to be quiet, they can. I'm able to apologize to them. I'm able to stand up to them. I very much like the relationship we have. It's nice to be able to say that."
In March, Kidman's daughter Sunday Rose shared a sweet boomerang on her Instagram Stories after she joined her actress mom at a screening for her film Holland in Nashville, Tenn.
In the clip, Sunday Rose could be seen wearing a red blazer and black skirt, pairing them with a navy V-neck sweater and a white collared shirt. She posed by a wall of tulips, where the film's name was nestled and written on a wooden board.
"So proud of my mama 🩷 can't wait for yall to see HOLLAND on @primevideo March 27!!!!" she wrote over the video.
Earlier in March, the Babygirl actress returned the favor and shared a photo on her Instagram Stories of her teenage daughter Sunday Rose walking the runway during Paris Fashion Week.
In the photo, the teenager could be seen strutting the catwalk for Miu Miu, wearing a yellow leather skirt, maroon leather tank top and plaid jacket. She also wore tan boots and added winged eyeliner.
"Love you baby! @sundayrose," Kidman sweetly wrote over the photo, which marked Sunday Rose's second appearance on the runway.

GloRilla Breaks Silence on Arrest for Alleged Felony Drug Possession After Burglary Attempt

'Long story short my house gets invaded and Im the only one gets arrested,' she tweeted GloRilla is speaking out after being arrested on felony drug charges following a burglary attempt in her Georgia home. The 25-year-old rapper, whose real name is Gloria Hallelujah Woods, voluntarily turned herself in to the Forsyth County Jail on Tuesday, July 22, after police allegedly discovered marijuana and a controlled substance while responding to a July 20 burglary attempt that she was not present for, according to a statement provided to PEOPLE by the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office. 'CRAZY [!!] My House got Home Invaded Saturday While I was in Indianapolis performing for the WNBA all star game & instead of Focusing on finding the Suspects , they focus on some cannabis,' the 'Wanna Be' artist tweeted on Thursday, July 24. Next, she listed a three-point breakdown of the events from her perspective. '1. So no I wasn't busted 2. My house got robbed 3. I wasn't home,' GloRilla wrote. She continued, 'Long story short my house gets home invaded and Im the only one that gets arrested.' The 'All Dere' rapper concluded, 'So that's tea,' adding a shrugging emoji. A rep for GloRilla did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment. A call for "a burglary in progress' came in at 1:30 a.m. local time, per the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office statement. "It was reported that three suspects had entered the home and were in the process of stealing items when an armed occupant fired at the intruders," the police statement read. "The suspects fled the scene, and it does not appear that any of them were struck. No injuries were reported among the home's occupants." No suspects were found following "a thorough investigation," however, police said, "While on scene, deputies detected a strong odor consistent with illegal narcotics. As a result, the Lanier Regional Drug Task Force was contacted and responded to the residence." Police obtained a search warrant and reported finding "a significant amount of marijuana" in GloRilla's master bedroom closet. As a result, the Memphis native was charged with Felony Possession of Marijuana and Possession of schedule one controlled substance. After voluntarily turning herself into custody, GloRilla was released on a $22,260 bond. Following her tweet addressing the arrest, the 'TGIF' rapper returned to social media with a seemingly subtle message. 'Anyways, Dey done let da LEOS ina door 😌🦁♌️,' GloRilla captioned a two-photo Instagram carousel mentioning her zodiac sign ahead of her July 28 birthday. This heartbreaking drama is an underrated Netflix movie to watch this weekend (July 25-27)

Every time I open Netflix, I feel a mild sensation of both excitement and dread. There's plenty of stuff to check out, but I actually have to pick something in order to get started. This weekend, I've pulled together three movies that are all great whether you've seen them once or hundreds of times. They're also movies that, for one reason or another, are underrated at the moment. Give them a look. Recommended Videos We also have guides to the best new movies to stream, the best movies on Netflix, the best movies on Hulu, the best movies on Amazon Prime Video, the best movies on HBO Max, and the best movies on Disney+. Friday Night Lights (2004) One of the great football movies ever made, Friday Night Lights tells the story of a small Texas town where high school football is the only thing that matters. When the star tailback hurts himself and is out for the season, all hope of the team making it to the state championship seems lost. The team's coach must then push his kids and the town to remember how important it is to believe in themselves. As cheesy as that might sound, Billy Bob Thornton knows how to turn the material into something genuinely revelatory. There's a reason a whole show was based on the story at the center of this film. You can watch Friday Night Lights on Netflix. His Three Daughters (2024) A genuinely heartbreaking movie, His Three Daughters follows three sisters as they navigate the death of the father they all shared. Carrie Coon, Natasha Lyonne, and Elizabeth Olsen all delivered textured performances here, and part of the point of the movie is that their dad meant very different things to each of them. His Three Daughters is a movie about how easy it is to judge the people in your life and how hard it is to navigate difficult periods together without driving one another insane. Crucially, each actor receives plenty of breathing room. You can watch His Three Daughters on Netflix. Instant Family (2018) Family comedy has largely been relegated to Netflix, but Instant Family is a reminder of how great this genre can be. The film stars Rose Byrne and Mark Wahlberg as a couple who decide to foster children after agreeing to start a family. When they find themselves fostering three siblings, including a rebellious 15-year-old, they begin to realize how chaotic and complicated fostering children really is and how much they still have to learn. Byrne and Wahlberg are excellent and remarkably game. Instant Family is surprisingly sweet without losing any of its laughs. You can watch Instant Family on Netflix.

Malcolm-Jamal Warner Death: Police Clarify Daughter Wasn't in Water During Drowning, Timeline of Events

Warner died after drowning in Costa Rica on a family vacation Costa Rican officials are providing new details that clarify the timeline of events that lead to Malcolm-Jamal Warner's death on Monday, July 21. He was 54. In a new statement obtained by PEOPLE on Thursday, July 24, Costa Rica's Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ) told PEOPLE that Warner's daughter was not in the water with him when he drowned. "Mr. Warner was playing with his daughter at the seashore at one point. He then left her out of the water, and he and a friend of his entered the sea," the statement, translated from Spanish to English, read. "It was at that moment that they were swept away by the current, and the friend managed to get out," the statement continued. "However, Mr. Warner was unable to get out and was pulled out by several people on the beach. He received care from Red Cross officials, but was pronounced dead at the scene." The OIJ previously confirmed to PEOPLE that Warner's cause of death was ruled "asphyxiation by submersion." Warner's body was formally identified by the Costa Rican National Police and will be "removed from the Judicial Morgue by a funeral service company hired and authorized by Mr. Warner's family," the office said. Dr. Mauricio Solano Corella, Medical Director for the Talamanca Health Area, previously confirmed that a 29-year-old man from Nicaragua was at the scene attempting to rescue Warner. The man was "treated, found to be stable and was discharged without complications," Dr. Corella told PEOPLE in a statement. The investigation remains ongoing. Warner is survived by his wife and his daughter. Warner was best known for his role as Theo Huxtable on The Cosby Show. His other credits include The Resident, Community, Malcolm & Eddie, Major Cimes and 9-1-1. He also co-hosted the podcast Not All Hood with his friend, Candace Kelley. "His other biggest mission, besides his family, was just being a good person," Kelley told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview published on July 24. "He wanted to be remembered like that; he has said that, he just wants to be remembered as a good person, and by all accounts, he's got that down. He really did. That was really sincere."
