You have super vision if you can spot hummingbird in flowers within 10 seconds

Daily Mirror3 days ago
You'll need to have the eyes of a hawk in order to spot the hummingbird hiding among the flowers in just 10 seconds, and many don't have what it takes to solve the puzzle
If you're looking to train your brain today, why not take on this tricky brainteaser that challenges you to find a hummingbird lurking among a sea of flowers? There's one catch, though - you have just 10 seconds to do it.

Solving puzzles like this one can help you exercise your mind, which is just as important as exercising the rest of your body. Brainteasers and other puzzles can not only help improve your cognitive function, but they also work wonders when it comes to building your problem-solving skills and can even help slow the onset of degenerative diseases like dementia.

So if your brain is feeling sluggish, give this mind-boggling optical illusion a try!

Shared on Reddit, the brainteaser tasks you with finding a hummingbird amongst a sea of yellow flowers and green foliage. The flowers and leaves are quite vast, and hummingbirds are only small creatures, so you'll need excellent vision if you want to cut through the unimportant parts of the picture to find the bird.
Take a look at the Reddit post below and see if you can find the hummingbird as quickly as possible. If you can do it in just 10 seconds, you might have super vision.

If you cannot see the above Reddit post, click here.
Locating the hummingbird isn't easy, and 10 seconds isn't very long, so don't worry too much if time runs out before you've found it. You'll still be training your brain to spot these hidden objects in record time no matter how long it takes you to find this one, so don't give up until you've found it.
If you're really struggling, we'll give you a small hint.

Take a close look around the clusters of yellow flowers. The bird you're looking for is situated just above one of these clusters, so you can stop looking at the bottom of the image or in any areas where there are gaps in the blooms.
Got it now? If you're still looking, stop scrolling, as we're about to give you the answer.
Answer
The hummingbird can be found on the right-hand side of the image, just above the halfway point.
Commenters on the post described it best when they said the bird was "about 2 o'clock from dead centre". It sounds confusing, but if you start at the centre of the image and imagine a clock, the bird is in line with where the number 2 would be. You should be able to see a red and black object - that's the hummingbird.
Did you find it? Let us know in the comments!

Pregnant Woman Says In-Laws 'Greeted My Baby Bump Instead of Me' When Meeting for the First Time

"Both FIL and MIL greeted my baby bump instead of me when we arrived, and it was all downhill from there," she writes on RedditNEED TO KNOW A woman says her first meeting with her in-laws did not go as planned when the couple immediately started talking about baby names She details the meeting in a post shared to Reddit "Both FIL and MIL greeted my baby bump instead of me when we arrived, and it was all downhill from there," she writesA woman says her first interaction with her in-laws will likely be her last after the couple immediately brought up potential baby names just hours after meeting for the first time. In a post shared to Reddit, the woman writes that she met her mother- and father-in-law for the first time, shortly after she found out she was pregnant. "Both FIL and MIL greeted my baby bump instead of me when we arrived, and it was all downhill from there," she writes. The couple then "pressured us to tell them our chosen baby names (we didn't), 'suggested' we name baby after MIL" and "made sure we had no time to see any other family in the area by dictating the whole weekend." At one point, the woman's mother-in-law also "threw a bizarre temper tantrum about baby showers." "She asked if I was having one, I said no, which is true," she writes. "She seemed to accept this at the time but next morning she declared my husband had told her that we would instead be doing a collection for the baby. He said no he hadn't, I said no we weren't doing that, she lost her cool (with a lot more back and forth in between, and increasing anger on her side)." She continues: "The whole visit made me sad because while I expected the entitlement and weird need for control, I wasn't expecting them to both prove me right quite so wholeheartedly or so soon. We've agreed to no more visits pre-birth, them coming to stay here/showing up unannounced is thankfully incredibly unlikely, and I personally will be putting them both on an info diet and directing all communication through husband for now." Let them sulk, that's their hobby. Yours is protecting your baby. You already know placating just invites more entitlement." Read the original article on People Solve the daily Crossword

Verizon just confirmed it's raising fees again — here's what you'll pay now

Verizon, one of the best phone carriers, may have introduced a three-year price lock in April, but prices can still go up on your phone bill. The company confirmed to Tom's Guide that it's "making some adjustments" that will raise various fees starting in September. In a statement, a Verizon spokesperson said that the "vast majority" of customers would see an increase of "less than 30 cents" to their monthly bill. "To continue delivering the best customer experience on America's best 5G network and industry-leading services and tools that save our customers' time and money, we're making some adjustments," the statement reads. A recent Reddit thread (spotted by PhoneArena) revealed a number of fees that would see increases; Verizon spokesperson's confirmed those increases. The affected fees include the Administrative and Telco Recovery Charge which is used by Verizon to pay for "direct and indirect" costs like property taxes, and was already raised by the carrier last December. According to the Reddit post, the recovery charge will increase by 28 cents to $3.78 per voice line. Data-only plans are taking a massive leap from $1.60 to $3.97 per line. The Verizon Regulatory Charge is also rising 3 cents from $0.19 to $0.21 per line. This charge is an assessment that the carrier uses to to cover "various government charges." "These adjustments are in line with market rates and allow us to continue to provide top-tier products and services," the spokesperson said. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. While Verizon's three-year price lock keeps your main plan at a friendlier price for longer, it doesn't specifically lock fees and taxes. The guaranteed price lock is only available to customers on a newer myPlan subscription. Lastly, the post indicates that Verizon is also raising the price of its device activation fee from $35 to $40, which can already be seen on the Verizon website. Tablet plans are also rising by an additional $5 a month. Follow Tom's Guide on Google News to get our up-to-date news, how-tos, and reviews in your feeds. Make sure to click the Follow button.
