Do Mika Salamanca, Brent Manalo feel pressure as Big Winner duo?

GMA Network21 hours ago
Fresh from clinching their victory on "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition," do Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo feel any pressure carrying their title as Big Winner duo?
On BreKa's guesting on Monday's episode of "It's Showtime," Mika said that there is indeed pressure to have the title to her name.
"Meron talaga kasi especially hindi ko rin talaga in-expect 'yung welcome ng tao," she said.
"Ngayon kasi, para kang may inaalagaan na expectation ng mga tao sa'yo and s'yempre, being a Big Winner is a huge thing," she added.
As for Brent, he intends to use the Big Winner title to have a bigger platform to become a role model for the youth.
"And [para] mas mag-serve na inspirasyon na huwag tumigil pagdating sa pangarap," he said.
Meanwhile, when asked about their willingness to trade their spot with Shuvee Etrata and Klarisse de Guzman when ShuKla was evicted, BreKa said it was an easy decision despite Kuya not allowing their request.
"Kung ibibigay mo sa kanila, hindi ka masasaktan kasi deserve din talaga [nila]," Mika said.
"Sa haba po nang pinagsamahan namin, parang pamilya na po talaga kami doon," Brent added. "'Di ba 'pag family, you're willing to do anything? Kaya bukas talaga kami magbigay."
"Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" is getting a second season later this year.
The 20 housemates of the first edition are set to reunite at an event titled "The Big ColLOVE" on August 10, 8 p.m., at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
More details, including ticket prices, will be revealed soon. —Hermes Joy Tunac/MGP, GMA Integrated News

‘Alice in Borderland' S3 comes to Netflix in September

The long wait is almost over! Netflix has officially announced that Season 3 of the hit Japanese series 'Alice in Borderland' is set to premiere on September 25, diving back into its high-stakes world of survival and suspense. Directed by Shinsuke Sato and based on Haro Aso's bestselling manga of the same title, the new season sees Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya return as Arisu and Usagi. A newly released poster shows the two desperately reaching for each other, capturing the show's signature life-or-death tension. 'Alice in Borderland' follows Arisu, a teenager trapped in an apocalyptic version of Tokyo known as the Borderlands, where he must survive deadly games tied to playing cards. The first season in 2020 tackled games linked to numbered cards, while Season 2 in 2022 introduced a more intense battle with Jack, Ace, King, and Queen face cards. It ended with the surviving players waking up in the real world, where a meteor strike had caused the chaos that led them into the Borderlands. — Hermes Joy Tunac/LA, GMA Integrated News
