Weather: Cape Town set for its first 'winter' rainfall
With temperatures dropping to the low teens, there is also predicted to be plenty of rainfall around for most of Tuesday, with WindGuru forecasting as much as 3mm of precipitation to fall between 11am and 2pm.
There is also predicted to be some fairly strong wind around, gusting up to 30 knots during the morning.
Yet, the good news for those in Cape Town is the fact that the weather will begin to clear up by the weekend, when clear skies, minimal wind and decent temperatures around 20°C are predicted.
Elsewhere, there is also a rainy and windy predicted for Gqeberha on Wednesday. Heavy rain is predicted for the morning of the 21st, while the Windy City will experience gusts of up 34 knots throughout the day, but the weather also clears up for a pleasant upcoming weekend.
The most noteworthy weather for Johannesburg this week will arrive on Wednesday as well, when temperatures are predicted to plunge to single digits in addition to some strong gusting wind.
Even Durban won't be spared on Wednesday, with the coastal city also expected to see plenty of rain and particularly strong winds and rough seas during the afternoon and evening.

As damaging coastal winds and isolated showers move in, KwaZulu-Natal will face a turbulent night and day ahead. According to forecaster Odirile Modipa, the province will remain cloudy, with rainfall persisting along the coastline and some inland areas. 'We're expecting isolated showers over KwaZulu-Natal, particularly along the coastal regions,' said Modipa. 'There's also a warning for damaging winds along the province's coastline, which may impact marine activities and beachgoers.' Residents in areas like Durban and Richards Bay should prepare for gusty conditions overnight and into the early hours, while those in the interior may see brief rain before the skies clear. Weather warnings remain in effect in Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal coasts The South African Weather Service has warned of strong winds and waves affecting the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal coasts. These conditions are expected to persist into tomorrow, creating dangerous conditions along the shoreline. 'Winds and waves along the coastal regions of KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape will remain strong,' Modipa warned.
