Looking like a character from 'The Incredibles,' Bellato has proven to be a fun fighter in victory or defeat. I'll be curious to see what Bellato looks like after an injury layoff, but I'm even more curious to see how Crute looks after coming back from a premature career retirement.
Crute appears to have been active in the last calendar year, cross-training at well-respected gyms like Bang Tao Muay Thai.
I wouldn't be shocked in the slightest if Bellato can survive the early storm and make things ugly for the win. But despite not knowing where Crute's head is at, I believe that the Australian is the more talented fighter skill for skill.
It's not a confident pick, but I'll take Crute to control the grappling and force a stoppage by Round 3.

Investments and Strategic Backing Establishing a sports league, let alone an MMA league in Africa, requires significant investment. PFL Africa partnered with Helios Investment Partners, a private investment firm that also backs NBA Africa, to make this possible. 'Our minority partner is Helios. So they've put in a significant investment. But PFL ourselves, we've also put in a significant investment,' Davis shared. 'Both of us have invested a lot of cash dollars into growing this over the next couple of years. It will not be profitable for several years. We're making a real investment.' While the full rollout of Smartcage technology and real-time fighter stats will take time, with significant upgrades expected in year two, PFL Africa's immediate priority has been investing in fighter purses. 'The first place we put the investment was in the quality of the product and then the quality of the fighters,' Davis said. 'We want this to be the highest-paying opportunity for fighters on the continent. Fighters here will make more than anywhere else. On top of that, champions receive a $100,000 bonus, which is truly life-changing money.' This expansion is also guided by a broadcast-first strategy that uniquely positions Africa within PFL's global model. While UFC CEO Dana White has seen some horrifying injuries inside the Octagon, it seems the worst he's ever encountered came in a frantic call from his wife after their daughter suffered a gruesome injury. Even when White is Octagon side at a UFC event, his job never stops. He is the head of a billion-dollar company. And he can often be seen talking or texting about business while at fights. That is why during a recent chat with Candy Funhouse, he was asked what was the craziest call he has ever gotten during an event. And surprisingly, the worst of them all had nothing to do with his day job. 'I think we were in Texas. And it was a Cormier fight. I don't remember who he was fighting. But my daughter was really young, and the dog that we had at the time ripped her ear off,' White revealed. 'As you could imagine, my wife was losing her mind, and everybody was freaking out. How many kids does Dana White have? Three (Dana III, Aidan, and Savannah) 'So I ran over and grabbed [Chief Medical Director] Dr. Jeff Davidson, and we started making calls. Got a plastic surgeon. And not only did the dog rip her ear off, but it ripped her ear in half too,' he added. 'So my wife had to pick up her ear, go to the friggin hospital, and have her ear sewn back on. That is definitely the craziest call I've ever had.' Since he didn't say his daughter Savannah lost her ear, one can assume that his wife jumping into quick action and getting to the right surgeon, saved their offspring's ear. It is also likely that the pet received a permanent knockout from the UFC boss following the incident. White and his wife Anne have three children. Sons Dana III, Aidan, and Savannah. 'LokDog' drops mic after UFC 318: Vinicius Oliveira releases rap song
Vinicius Oliveira quite literally dropped the mic after his UFC 318 win. "LokDog" isn't just a fighter. He's a rapper, too. One day after his victory over Kyler Phillips in New Orleans, Oliveira (23-3 MMA, 4-0 UFC) dropped a new single "Fenomenal" featuring Brazilian rapper B-Dynamitze. Coinciding with the song was a new music video, which features "LokDog" in the gym sparring, lifting – and spitting. Oliveira's discography includes five singles, according to his Spotify artist account. His debut "Ande Como um Rei" dropped in 2023 followed by "Perdendo a Conquista." In 2024 he released "Cerre os Punhos" and "Conquistando o Impossivel." To go with his five singles, Oliveira has four UFC wins to date. He's won six fights in a row and 12 of his most recent 13. His unanimous decision win over Phillips () was his most high-profile to date, and likely aligns him for a top-10 matchup next.
