Express Tribune3 days ago
Rapper and internet personality Bhad Bhabie, born Danielle Bregoli, is facing a lawsuit from American Express over alleged unpaid credit card charges totaling $674,452.40.
According to court documents filed on July 2, 2025, in Los Angeles County Superior Court and obtained by PEOPLE, American Express claims the 22-year-old breached a credit agreement after failing to make the required payments on her account. The company states that it extended credit to Bregoli in April 2021, but she stopped making payments around December 19, 2024.
The lawsuit alleges that Bregoli agreed to repay all charges, fees, and interest either in full or through monthly payments. The credit card account, partially identified as XXXX‑XXXX‑X5000, was used for purchases and cash advances, according to the filing. American Express is now seeking damages for breach of contract.
Representatives for both Bhad Bhabie and American Express have not responded to media requests for comment at the time of reporting.
The lawsuit surfaces shortly after Bregoli's recent interview with Interview Magazine, in which she spoke openly about earning substantial income through her OnlyFans account. According to a screenshot shared in 2024, Bregoli claimed to have grossed over $71 million on the platform since joining in April 2021.
Despite her financial success in recent years, the American Express lawsuit suggests significant financial management concerns for the rapper.

Gigi Gorgeous and Nats Getty announce divorce after six years of marriage and shared trans journey

Gigi Gorgeous and Nats Getty have officially confirmed their separation after six years of marriage. The news follows the filing of divorce papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court, with Getty citing 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for the split. Gorgeous and Getty were married in July 2019 at Rosewood Miramar Beach in Montecito, California. The couple, who first met in 2016, have both publicly shared their transgender identities. Getty came out in 2021, stating, 'I stand proudly as a trans man,' while Gorgeous publicly transitioned in 2013 and legally adopted the name Gigi Loren Lazzarato in 2014. A representative for the pair shared that the split is amicable. 'While they have decided to end their marriage, they remain friends and have the utmost love and respect for each other,' the statement read. Gigi Gorgeous, a YouTube pioneer since 2008, has built a significant following as a beauty vlogger, model, and LGBTQ+ advocate. She boasts over 2.2 million Instagram followers and more than 130,000 TikTok fans. Recently, she marked the end of Pride Month as the Grand Marshal of the Toronto parade, sharing, 'My hometown doesn't just give me energy. The people here ARE the energy!' Getty, heir to the Getty oil fortune and godchild of California Governor Gavin Newsom, filed for divorce listing their separation date as February 27, 2025. According to TMZ, Gorgeous is expected to receive spousal support under the couple's premarital agreement. The couple were last seen together publicly at events in late 2023 and early 2024.

Dakota Johnson vacations in Europe with Kate Hudson weeks after breakup with Chris Martin

Dakota Johnson appears to be embracing single life, enjoying a European getaway with longtime family friend Kate Hudson. The trip comes just weeks after news broke that Johnson and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin had ended their nearly eight-year relationship. The Materialists star was spotted dining in Rome with Hudson, entrepreneur Douglas Chabbott, and her agent Maha Dakhil. During the evening, Ricky Martin briefly stopped by to greet the group, despite dining at a separate venue nearby. Photo: Backgrid Days later, Johnson and Hudson were seen cruising off the coast of Ibiza, as captured in images published by People. The pair spent the day in bikinis, relaxing on a white float with a friend, swimming in the sea, and enjoying the Mediterranean sun. Photo: Backgrid Their connection extends beyond recent travels—Johnson and Hudson are daughters of close Hollywood peers, Melanie Griffith and Goldie Hawn, respectively. Their shared history adds a personal touch to the timing of the trip. The girls trip follows reports of Johnson's split from Martin. Though the couple had recently been photographed on a yoga date, rumours of tension had circulated earlier in the year, only to be dismissed at the time. Neither Johnson nor Martin has addressed the breakup publicly.
