QNA Doha The Qatar bowling team won two new medals (silver and bronze) on Thursday at the 24th Asian Junior Bowling Championship, which Doha is hosting until August 2. Qatar's Abdulrahman Al-Dosari won the silver medal in all-events category after collecting 3,960 points across all competitions. He finished second behind Kuwait's Nasser Al Kandari, who topped the standings with 4,037 points and won the gold medal. Malaysian bowler Mohammed Aqeel came in third with 3,921 points and won the bronze medal. Qatar's Team B, comprising Hassan Al Muraikhi, Hamad Al Abdullah, Abdullah Al Dosari, and Abdulrahman Al Dosari, won the bronze medal in the 4-player team competition, finishing third with 5,052 points. Qatar raised its medal tally in the tournament to four, having previously won gold and silver in the doubles competition. The Malaysian team topped the four-person team competition, taking first place with 5,198 points and winning the gold medal, while the Kuwaiti team came in second with 5,196 points and won the silver medal. At the girls' level, the Malaysian team won the gold medal after topping the competition with 4,775 points, while the Chinese Taipei team came in second with 4,563 points and won the silver medal.
