Tennis legend Serena Williams has shifted her focus from the court to family and business life. With 23 Grand Slam singles titles and 73 WTA singles trophies, she now celebrates victories off the court, especially those of her husband, Alexis Ohanian.
Known for her support of women's sports, Williams once called Ohanian the 'GOAT of investing' in a video posted online. 'He started a whole movement in women's sports by getting billions invested,' she said proudly.
Ohanian, the co-founder of Reddit and founder of venture capital firm Seven Seven Six, just revealed some exciting news. On Monday, it was announced that he will be joining Season 17 of Shark Tank as a guest investor.
The show, known for giving entrepreneurs a chance to land life-changing deals, is entering a new chapter following the exit of long-time shark Mark Cuban.
Ohanian took to X to confirm the news, writing, 'Looks like the secret is out. Can't wait for yall to watch."
The announcement comes at a time when Shark Tank is undergoing big changes. For the first time, the show will shift from its usual Friday slot to Wednesdays at 10/9c this fall on ABC.
This season features a lineup of fresh guest sharks including Poppi's Allison Ellsworth, Magnolia founders Chip and Joanna Gaines, Michael Strahan, Kendra Scott and Uncle Nearest CEO Fawn Weaver. Ohanian's entry brings a strong tech and investment background to the Tank. Known for backing innovative ideas and supporting women-led ventures, his presence is expected to shake things up.
Williams and Ohanian continue to show that even outside the spotlight, they remain one of the most inspiring power couples today. This story was originally reported by Athlon Sports on Jul 14, 2025, where it first appeared.

Unreleased Beyonce music stolen from car in Atlanta

Computer drives containing unreleased music by US superstar Beyonce Knowles and plans related to her concerts were stolen last week in Atlanta, police said Monday, with a suspect still at large. The items were stolen from a rental car used by Knowles's choreographer and a dancer on July 8, two days before the pop icon kicked off the Atlanta leg of her "Cowboy Carter" Tour, a police incident report said. Choreographer Christopher Grant, 37, told police that he returned to the car to find its rear-window smashed and their luggage stolen. Inside were multiple jump drives that "contained water marked music, some un-released music, footage plans for the show, and past and future set list (sic)," the report said. Also missing were an Apple MacBook, headphones and several items of luxury clothing. Police investigated an area where the MacBook and headphones had pinged their location, but the report did not mention any items being recovered. Atlanta Police said in an online statement that a warrant had been issued for an unnamed suspect's arrest, but that the suspect remained at large. Knowles ends her four-night stint in Atlanta on Monday and then wraps up the "Cowboy Carter" tour in late July in Las Vegas. The tour kicked off in April after the global superstar took home her first "Album of the Year" Grammy for the country-themed album. des/sla

This Prime Day Deal Slashes $30 Off EcoFlow's Wireless Power Bank

It's always a good idea to have a power bank on hand, and the EcoFlow Rapid Power Bank lets you have it both ways -- you can charge wirelessly or with a USB cable. And with a $30 discount available for July's Prime Day sale, the original price of $70 is now down to $40. That discount is currently available in silver, blue and black colors. This power bank's Qi2 15-watt wireless charging technology allows it to charge two times faster than Qi1 7.5-watt charging. It also has a built-in cable, so you don't have to worry about carrying extra cords. The included 30-watt cable allows you to recharge the power bank from zero to 70% in less than 33 minutes, which is handy when you're in a rush. For wireless charging, it's compatible with the iPhone 12 and later, while wired charging allows it to work with the iPhone 8 and later; Samsung S8 and later; MacBook Pro and Air; the iPad Pro, Mini and Air; and the Apple Watch and Apple AirPods. As a reference, it can charge an iPhone 15 Pro to 50% in 44 minutes. It can also hold enough power to charge that same phone 1.1 times. Thanks to its lightweight, sleek design, the power bank is easy to carry around wherever you go. It has a built-in kickstand so that you can use it hands-free while allowing it to double as a desktop stand for your smartphone. It also comes with a two-year warranty. This is the lowest price we've seen on the 5,000-mAh EcoFlow Rapid Power Bank, and it's available in three colors, so you have some options if you're trying to match it with your phone. With wireless and wired charging available, this model has everything you'd need for charging on the go.
