While plug-in hybrid and multiple electric powertrains are available overseas, the latter of which are available with all-wheel drive, these have yet to be confirmed for our market.
That leaves only a single powertrain for our market: a 100kW turbocharged 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system.
The 5008's base price is close to $10,000 cheaper than that of the outgoing 5008, which from model year 2023 was only available in a single, highly specified GT Sport trim.
