Beauty boxes and bags are a brilliant way to sample an array of products without completely blowing your budget. A perfect solution for all you serial over-packers, these little treasures let you try out new products without forcing you to commit to the full-sized products.
Lookfantastic Summer Heroes Edit is a stand-out option right now. Priced at £45, it promises over £150 worth of goodies (boasting four full-sized items and two that are travel-ready). Inside, you'll find a mix of hair care, sun-conscious skin solutions and cosmetics aimed to keep your skin looking fresh and dewy all summer long.
Past customers have lavished the box with glowing five-star reviews. One commented: "Such a lovely beauty box, great value for money."
Another chimed in: "Best value edit ever. A variety of spectacular products."
The saving of more than £100 fits nicely into the guilt-free splurge category, especially when the holiday shopping list looks a bit on the pricey side.
The only potential downside for some is that only four of the products are full-sized. However, the minis are perfect for squeezing into your hand luggage – especially when you're dealing with those pesky travel restrictions, reports the Express.
One of the most popular items in the box is the ESPA Optimal Skin Pro Serum, a full-size 30ml product. Typically applied during the morning and night when your face is feeling a bit parched, this is perfect when revitalising your skin.
The brand claims it's crafted from a mix of plant-based oils, along with Vitamin F, Echium Oil, and Vitamin E. A full-size product usually retails at £55.
Next in line is the Eucerin Sun Face Pigment Control SPF 50, an essential for the summer season. This one promises no white residue, even under make-up, and is also said to help address pigmentation over time.
Another premium and fairly universal product in the box is the Caudalie Beauty Elixir, a face spritz designed to set makeup and impart a glow. The product comes in a 30ml bottle, making it compliant with hand luggage restrictions, so it can easily be incorporated into your in-flight skincare routine.
It's priced at £18 when bought separately. For money-saving tips, sign up to our Money newsletter here
For hair care, the Color Wow Pop and Lock High Gloss Finish is a full-sized product (at 55ml) and is valued at £22. The brand suggests adding a few drops to the ends of your hair for added shine.
The final full-size product in the box is the Iconic London Instant Sunshine Bronzing Drops (13ml). Priced at £22 when bought individually, these drops are said to bestow skin with a post-holiday glow.

Ben Shelton's 'shambolic' claim at Wimbledon riles fans who 'hope he goes out'

Wimbledon quarter-finalist Ben Shelton has been one of the most exciting stars at the All England Club, but the American may have turned the home crowd against him Wimbledon ace Ben Shelton has upset the English by delivering a scathing critique of the humble fry-up. The world No. 10, who's made an impressive dash to the quarter-finals at SW19, had been captivating the Wimbledon faithful with his astonishing athleticism and cheeky interviews. He's dispatched Alex Bolt, Rinky Hijikata, Marton Fucsovics and Lorenzo Sonego at SW19. The 22-year-old will soon be facing off against top seed Jannik Sinner in the last eight, unless the Italian's elbow injury proves to be too much of a problem to play. ‌ But after one of his latest interviews, it's possible that many British fans will be rooting for Sinner instead. That's because the American boldly rated the full English breakfast a 0/10, reports the Express. ‌ In a playful interview with BBC Sport on various English peculiarities and delicacies, Shelton did not mince his words when the classic brekkie came up. When asked for his rating out of 10, Shelton said: "Zero, it's terrible. Nah, English breakfast is garbage. Who puts beans in? What are we doing? It's terrible." However, Shelton may have recovered some of his English contingent when the topic of fish and chips was put to him. He gave the classic chippy tea a 7.5/10, while also giving cups of tea a high score of 9/10. Unfortunately for Shelton, many fans were unable to forget his honest feelings towards the classic hangover remedy. One fan wrote: "Shambolic opinion. Hope he crashes out in straight sets at the earliest possible opportunity." ‌ Another counter-punched Shelton's opinion by slating an infamous American snack, writing: "Anyone who comes from a country that has spray on cheese shouldn't be allowed to comment on food." While another posted: "Fry up after a heavy night out is the only way to survive the day. It's a 10/10 gift from the gods." However, some people on social media were able to see eye-to-eye with his opinion. One fan wrote: "He's not wrong though is he? I would imagine being a young athlete he would avoid a fry up like the plague." ‌ Shelton also ferociously lashed out at the country's narrow roads too, expressing frustration over driving in Britain compared to cruising on America's vast freeways. "I think this is the worst place to drive in the world," he said, in a statement which many Brits may well agree with. "You make the road and you let people park on the side of the road so there's only room for one car, but then you say it's a two-way street. So then you have to pull in and parallel park so one guy can go past and then the other goes past. It takes like 35 minutes to go three miles." Shelton gave London a lukewarm review, rating it a 7/10 while adding: "It would be like a nine or a 10 if it wasn't for the driving." Shelton has moved into the top 10 but is yet to win a Grand Slam. He will need all of his talent and athleticism when he faces Sinner. The American will likely take confidence from Sinner's struggles in his last 16 clash with Grigor Dimitrov, which saw the Italian lose the first two sets before the Bulgarian had to retire as a result of injury.
