This legendary Panthers WR visited practice at Chiefs Training Camp on Sunday
As the reigning AFC champions, Kansas City's players will face high expectations from fans and the media this season, a dynamic that was all too familiar for Smith during his outstanding 13-year tenure with the Panthers.
Take a look at this picture of Smith walking to the field at Missouri Western State University with a member of the Chiefs' staff, which was posted to Twitter by Matt Foster of KSHB 41.
A five-time Pro Bowler, Smith racked up 14,731 yards on 1031 catches for 81 receiving touchdowns through 16 regular-season campaigns.
Though NFL Network hasn't yet featured videos of Smith's appearance at Chiefs Training Camp on its social media accounts, his insightful analysis of Kansas City's workouts should prove to be valuable for fans who haven't been able to see the team practice in St. Joseph firsthand.

Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith reveals loudest Big Ten stadium he's played in
Ohio State Buckeyes receiver Jeremiah Smith reveals unexpected "loudest stadium" 👀#GoDucks #GoBucks The Big Ten is full of iconic stadiums. The conference boasts the three largest college football venues in the country, with Michigan Stadium (Michigan), Beaver Stadium (Penn State), and Ohio Stadium (Ohio State) all welcoming over 100,000 fans during home games. Needless to say, that many people packed into one place can result in some pretty loud crowds. In fact, Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola praised the 'Shoe as easiest the loudest stadium he played in last year. But what if the shoe (pardon the pun) were on the other foot? Ohio State receiver Jeremiah Smith was asked about playing in Autzen Stadium last year, and he was quick to compliment the environment in Eugene when the Buckeyes lost a close one to the Oregon Ducks. "It was rockin'. Probably the loudest stadium I've ever been in," Smith told reporters. "Their fans were definitely getting hype, crowd was -- couldn't hear anything, stuff like that, but probably the best stadium I've been in last year." Smith was then asked about a potential budding rivalry with Oregon with the teams playing twice last year, and with where the trajectory of both are heading. "Kind of -- a little bit. That's how I think it's going," continued Smith. "The way things are going, it's kind of like Ohio State-Oregon is starting to be like a little rivalry, I guess." Obviously, Smith didn't mean to slight Ohio Stadium being that he plays there and it can get loud too, but when you go on the road, the noise factor when on offense can make a huge difference. I can vouge from personal experience that Autzen Stadium was indeed the loudest I've ever heard a stadium. It was a great environment and venue, and hopefully, the brass at Ohio State took note and try to do some things to make the environment in the Horseshoe even better. Rich Hill to play for 14th team after Royals call-up
The post Rich Hill to play for 14th team after Royals call-up appeared first on ClutchPoints. The Kansas City Royals should be sellers at the MLB trade deadline. They are well out of the AL Central, which is currently dominated by the Detroit Tigers, and stuck in a crowded AL Wild Card race. That could include trading Seth Lugo, who finished second in Cy Young voting last year. The Royals made a move to improve their pitching by calling up Rich Hill on Monday, which also made some history. 'Veteran left-hander Rich Hill is expected to return to the majors with the Kansas City Royals and could pitch as early as Tuesday, sources say,' Robert Murray of FanSided reported. 'Hill, 45, becomes the oldest active player in baseball. Hill signed a minor-league contract with the Royals in mid-May and was quickly promoted to Triple-A.' The Royals will be the 14th team Hill plays for in his MLB career. That ties Edwin Jackson for the most in MLB history, according to Jomboy Media's Talkin' Baseball. He last pitched in 2024 with the Boston Red Sox, his sixth season in his hometown. The Dodgers and Cubs are the only teams he has spent more than one season with, four apiece. Hill immediately becomes the oldest player in Major League Baseball, but he can help get the Royals through the season. If they trade Lugo and do not want to burn a year of a prospect's contract, they can use Hill. He has a career ERA of 4.01 with 90 wins in 386 appearances. Hill signed with the Royals back in May and has been performing well in the minor leagues ever since. In nine starts with AAA Omaha, he has pitched 42 innings and allowed 25 earned runs for a 5.36 ERA. If he can put together a few nice starts for Kansas City this year, it could be a great end to his career. He, of course, could be back with Team 15 at 46 years old and no one would be surprised. Royals rumors: Kansas City could still be trade deadline sellers after Adam Frazier
The post Royals rumors: Kansas City could still be trade deadline sellers after Adam Frazier appeared first on ClutchPoints. The MLB trade deadline is quickly approaching, and some teams are still seemingly deciding on of they will be buyers or sellers. On Friday, rumors ignited around the Kansas City Royals after insider Ken Rosenthal speculated the front office could be sellers at the deadline despite having already traded for Adam Frazier. During a guest appearance on 'Foul Territory,' Rosenthal claimed that the Royals could opt to be sellers if the team struggles for the remainder of July. Considering the club is in third place in the NL Central and is 12.0 games behind the first-placed Detroit Tigers, it may make sense for Kansas City to approach the deadline as sellers and focus more on next season. 'Even Kansas City, which just acquired Adam Frazier, and clearly wants to compete; if things go south for them in the next 10 days, they're gonna have to look at trading Seth Lugo.' The MLB trade deadline is on July 31. So, the Royals still have time to decide how to approach the deadline. The front office traded for Adam Frazier, who is 33 years old, in the hopes of improving the depth of the lineup. Frazier mainly plays second base, but can start in the outfield if need be. But as Rosenthal points out, if the Royals struggle in the remainder of July and find themselves even further behind the playoff race by the deadline, the front office may elect to be sellers. And from the sounds of it, pitcher Seth Lugo would be on the chopping block. Including Friday's contest against the Miami Marlins, the Royals have 12 games to play before the MLB trade deadline. It is a crucial stretch of the regular season, as Kansas City is right in the mix of the postseason. However, everything could change if the club goes on a serious cold streak these next couple of weeks.
