Saie has recently launched its brand new Slip Tint Undetectable Baked Setting Powder to rival Laura Mercier's iconic Translucent Setting Powder.
I have been using Laura Mercier's Translucent Setting Powder for years to soak up any excess oil around my T-zone, but it may have met its match with Saie's new drop.
What I love about Saie's Slip Tint is it is a multi-purpose make-up cosmetic as it functions as a setting powder, highlighter and bronzer – depending on the shade – as it adds an extra glow to my complexion while minimising any shine.
This clean formula has been crafted using Phytosqualane, Silica, Hyaluronic Acid andlipids extracted from Jojoba Esters plant to create a skincare and make-up hybrid. This setting powder reduces excess oil, while also hydrating the skin. It offers a glowy finish, despite its function to reduce oiliness and set your make-up in place. Available in five shades, including very light to light, light to medium, medium to tan, tan to deep and deep to rich. BUY NOW FOR £26
Firstly the Saie Slip Tint is a pressed powder rather than loose powder, which I personally prefer to prevent wasting any product.
The Saie Setting Powder is as lightweight on the skin as it promises to be, yet it delivers a natural glowy finish, sets your make-up in place without a single trace of setting powder or a cakey finish.
This talc-free setting powder has been formulated with clean ingredients, including Phytosqualane and Silica, which work to smooth and blur any fine lines or enlarged pores. It also absorbs excess oil for a flawless finish.
The formula also contains hydrating hyaluronic acid, as well as Jojoba Esters, which contains lipids that smooth and hydrate the skin, while providing a film to hold your make-up look in place.
The powder promises to hold your make-up for eight hours, which I can attest to. In fact, I have worn it from day to night in the height of summer without my make-up budging.
I always seek out non-comedogenic formulas to prevent any breakouts, which is another big tick this Saie creation delivers on.
This setting powder is available in five shades, including very light to light, light to medium, medium to tan, tan to deep and deep to rich, so you can perfectly colour match the product to your skin tone. This is rare when it comes to setting powders and what sets it out from the crowd as it doesn't dull or lighten your complexion like others.
While Saie's Slip Tint reduces any oily areas around my T-zone, it also lifts, brightens and adds a glowy finish to my complexion too, though it is not pearlescent or shimmery. While I opt for the light to medium shade on oily areas, I have also experimented using other shades as a bronzer on my cheeks, which was equally as effective in adding a pop of colour and definition to my cheeks without leaving me too shiny or one dimensional.
This setting powder has been dermatologist tested, so it is safe to use on sensitive as well as blemish prone skin.
Whether you sweep all over the face, or on select areas, is entirely up to you.
Already Saie's Slip Tint has garnered an impressive 4.9 out of five stars from shoppers.
Gloria's review read: 'I've been using this pressed powder and I'm seriously loving it. It gives me a natural finish without looking cakey. My skin still looks glowy like a soft, healthy glow, but not glittery or shimmery at all. It just looks like my skin, but better. I use it to set my make-up and it blends so nicely.' More Trending
While Angie added: 'I enjoy this powder, it is light on my skin, doesn't not look powdery and it sets my make-up beautifully! I like how the shade is flexible since I'll be able to wear it once the season changes. There is no scent to it but there's some radiance to it, so this won't give you a matte look, which I appreciate since I have dry skin! it does not sit in my fine lines either!'
A separate shopper, named Dahlia, echoed the same sentiment and shared: 'I am a huge powder girly and I've been looking for one that sets my makeup but doesn't look dry, especially under my eyes. I use it all over my face and under my eyes and it sets my makeup without taking away all the glow I want to keep. It looks really good under my eyes too and they finally don't appear crusty. The formula feels buttery almost! I love the compact and this will last me a long time since a little goes a long way.'

Vinny confides in Emmerdale legend about trying to kiss Kammy as doubts grow

Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) has got himself in quite the pickle in Emmerdale, having begun to question his sexual identity after getting engaged to a woman whose last ex pretended to be straight in order to scam her into marrying him. Some weeks ago now, after a close moment between them, Vinny accidentally leant in to kiss Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah). Kammy backed off immediately and it clear he didn't like Vinny that way, but has since been supportive of Vinny finding out who he really is. His first proper relationship before Gabby (Rosie Bentham) was asexual, so until now he hasn't had the chance to discover where his true sexual identity lies. He's been in denial to the point that he stepped up his wedding with Gabby in a bid to convince himself that he's straight. But all that has done is increase the internal turmoil for the awkward lad who has no idea how to back out of it. Vinny goes full steam ahead on the wedding, still lying to himself, and chats about his impending nuptials with Mandy (Lisa Riley) hoping reassurance from his mum will quell his growing fear. Kammy gifts Vinny a watch for his wedding and again Vinny is left trying to convince himself he's making the right move. More Trending But, when Kammy is busy at the scrap yard, Vinny watches him work with a lustful gaze and it is patently obvious that Vinny is making a mistake marrying a woman. Ncuti Gatwa heavily teases he 'might' return to Doctor Who

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Ncuti Gatwa just dropped an almighty tease about a possible return to Doctor Who after his swift two-season run as the main man. The Sex Education actor, 32, stepped into the role in 2023, but after just 18 months departed amid low viewing figures and a lack of hype surrounding the series. At the time, Ncuti explained he walked away from the iconic role because he was 'getting old'. He continued, talking to Laura Kuenssberg: 'My body was tired. It takes a lot out of you. Physically, emotionally, mentally. It was time.' But the road might not be over just yet. Wake up to find news on your TV shows in your inbox every morning with Metro's TV Newsletter. On tonight's episode of The One Show, when quizzed by Alex Jones about his regret of never having fought a Dalek or Cyberman – Doctor Who's most iconic villains – he responded with what appeared to be a tease. 'I never got to fight a Dalek or a Cyberman. Just the crux of Doctor Who. Yeah, so… Might do that… Might go fight a Dalek,' he said, before Jamie Lee Curtis erupted on the sofa next to him, and joked the BBC magazine show was giving them 'truth serum' instead of water. 'I know!' Ncuti exclaimed, before taking a drink of water. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video In the final episode of Doctor Who, aired on May 31 by Disney and BBC, saw Ncuti 'regenerate' into an unexpected form, as is tradition with the show when a new Doctor replaces another. This time, though, the 15th doctor regenerated into Billie Piper, who played the Doctor's assistant Rose Tyler between 2005 and 2010 alongide David Tennent. Whether she is the 16th Doctor remains to be seen. In a press release after the regeneration, the BBC said: 'Just how and why she [Billie Piper] is back remains to be seen…' Billie said fans would have to 'wait and see' what she does next . Many fans noted that in the credits for the last episode The Reality War, where Billie made the unexpected return, she was not credited as the Doctor as in all other cases, but simply: 'Introducing Billie Piper.' It seems Billie might be returning in a smaller capacity, as in an interview with The Independent in 2024, she previously explained: 'I wouldn't go back as a full-time thing, but I'd love to make another appearance.' Meanwhile, in a statement announcing his departure, Ncuti – who is the first Doctor since Christopher Eccleston to act in fewer than three seasons – said: 'You know when you get cast, at some point you are going to have to hand back that sonic screwdriver and it is all going to come to an end, but nothing quite prepares you for it.' He added: 'There are no words to describe what it feels like to be cast as the Doctor, nor are there words to explain what it feels like to be accepted into this iconic role that has existed for over 60 years and is truly loved by so many across the globe.' To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Gatwa thanked fans for making it a 'touching experience', adding: 'I've loved every minute of it, but now is the time to hand over the keys to that beloved blue box and let someone else take control and enjoy it every bit as much as I have. 'I'll truly miss it, and forever be grateful to it, and everyone that has played a part in my journey as the Doctor.' Ncuti's desire to fight a Dalek has been well-documented over the years, as he told Entertainment Weekly early doors: 'What on earth would be the point of me being Doctor Who if I never fight the Daleks?' Despite this, the bubble-wrapped bin villains never showed up on screen during his tenure, and neither did Cybermen and the Master. While the next series of Doctor Who hasn't officially been confirmed, it's been reported the BBC will continue the series regardless of whether Disney are up for future collaborations or not. More Trending This came after rumours Disney could be withdrawing its partnership due to poor viewing figures. However, Doctor Who fans will be pleased to hear The Mirror reported a few months ago that showrunner Russell T Davies has planned the next two seasons, with scripts for season 16 almost finished and the 17th season in the works. So perhaps Ncuti really does know something we don't… The One Show airs every weekday at 7pm. Got a story? Moira pays a heavy price in Emmerdale as Kim's victory is all but sealed

It looks like it might be all over for Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) in Emmerdale. Last week, Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) arrived at Butlers Farm to propose the idea of the Tates buying Moira's farm from her. The offer came at a time when Moira was feeling vulnerable, as she had just been told her appeal to the water company had been declined. It left Moira seriously contemplating selling up. She would give Kim Tate (Claire King) the responsibility of looking after the business side of the farm but her family would still live in Butlers, and she'd still work as a farmer there. It was incredibly tempting, but Moira then made a discovery that made the offer go out the window. Moira had learnt that Joe paid Noel from the water company to deliberately turn down her appeal. This left her adamant she wouldn't be signing the contract, and it left Joe very annoyed. Moira has spent this week consumed with even more stress. On Monday, two lads broke into a barn and terrified Kyle (Huey Quinn) and Isaac (Bobby Dunsmuir). She assumed Joe was behind organising it, and then made her way to Home Farm to confront him. Moira went to hit Joe, but Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) got in the way. This led to PC Swirling (Andy Moore) arriving to arrest Moira and at this point, it felt like her living nightmare was never going to end. In this evening's episode, Moira received a worrying phone call. More Trending A while later, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) returned home following another argument with his siblings. As he sat down, Moira revealed that the supermarket they supply goods to has now pulled out of their deal. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Who's leaving Coronation Street? They didn't tell Moira why but she didn't need a reason – she knew Joe had sabotaged things for them.
