"PM Modi always on tour...should've country tourism ambassadors," says Sanjay Raut
Speaking to reporters, Raut said, 'PM Modi is always on tour, he should have a tour and travel ministry, and should have country tourism ambassadors and should tell in Mann ki Baat what to eat in which country to go...'
Raut also criticised the Modi government over Pakistan's growing influence at international forums. He said, 'Ever since PM Modi came, Jaishankar came, Amit Shah came, we could not prove this and today an important post was given to Pakistan in the United Nations. The Army Chief was invited to dinner at the White House.'
He questioned the government for ignoring serious domestic issues, including farmers' suicides and recent terror attacks, saying, 'Does Modi Ji know that 1000 farmers died by suicide in Maharashtra in three months? Till now, they have been unable to find the killers in the Pahalgam attack. Air India is finished. They are not able to find out what happened to the plane that crashed in Ahmedabad, and Modi Ji is roaming abroad; this is the condition of the country.'
Meanwhile, on the relationship between the RSS and BJP, Raut said, 'RSS and BJP are brothers. If RSS wants, then it can teach the BJP a lesson. The BJP that is seen today is based on the strength of RSS workers.'
He further demanded that Prime Minister Modi question US President Donald Trump over his stance towards India. 'Prime Minister Modi should ask Trump what kind of drama you are doing with India. There is no one in the United Nations who can raise our voice. The way President Trump is trying to give power to Pakistan is a danger for India in the near future,' he added. (ANI)

Watch: PM Modi mentions India has 2,500 parties in Ghana Parliament. Then this happens
NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday addressed the Parliament of Ghana during his state visit, drawing applause and smiles when he said that India has over 2,500 political parties. The comment came as part of a broader speech on India's democratic values and cultural diversity. 'India is the mother of democracy. For us, democracy is not merely a system; it is a part of our fundamental values from thousands of years ago,' Modi said. Referring to ancient traditions, he added, 'The Rig Veda says: Ano bhadraha kratavo yantu Vishwatah – let good thoughts come to us from all directions. This openness to ideas is the core of democracy.' PM Modi highlighted India's diversity and said, 'India has over 2,500 political parties. I repeat, 2,500 political parties. 20 different parties govern different states. We have 22 official languages and thousands of dialects. This is also the reason that people who came to India have always been welcomed with open hearts.' 'Dr Nkrumah was a towering figure of Africa's liberation and unity. This tribute reflects India's deep respect for Ghana's history and shared commitment to freedom and justice,' Modi said. During the visit, PM Modi was conferred with The Officer of the Order of the Star of Ghana, the country's highest civilian award, by President John Mahama. Calling it a 'matter of immense pride,' Modi thanked the government and people of Ghana and dedicated the honour to the youth of both nations. 'I humbly accept this award on behalf of 1.4 billion Indians. I dedicate this to the aspirations of our youth, our rich cultural diversity, and the historic ties between India and Ghana,' he said. PM Modi's visit — the first by an Indian Prime Minister to Ghana in over three decades — marks a significant moment in India-Africa relations. In talks with President Mahama, the two leaders agreed to elevate ties to a Comprehensive Partnership, focusing on trade, education, defence, and digital development.

Maharashtra govt U-turn on three-language policy a lesson for BJP. Imposition hurts Hindi
Maharashtra government's U-turn on three-language policy shows limitations of Hindi-isation. Pushback from RSS' birthplace is a lesson for BJP. It should show equal sensitivity to public opinion in non-NDA-ruled states. The 2011 Census showed significant increase in Hindi speakers in southern and western states. Imposition attempts do disservice to Hindi. Indians didn't do much to globalise Kolhapuri chappals. Outrage is all we've got The Kolhapuri chappal is ours. We have the GI tag too. The question is: what have we done to monetise it and make it trendy for 21st-century global fashion? Nada. We just locked its potential in jholawala trope. So, when Prada embraces it, we do what we know best. Outrage.
