I'm a mum blogger & sick trolls reported me to social services for CHILD ABUSE…my man got quizzed on me being a ‘druggy'

The Sun22-07-2025
A MUMMY blogger has candidly opened up on being reported to social services by sick trolls.
Brittany Miller, 29, who is mother to identical twins, Elijah and Emiliano, 11 months, who are soon to be celebrating their first birthday in just days time, explained that an anonymous hater had recently accused her of child abuse.

Not only this, but Brittany's partner Ash, who is the father of their twins, was even quizzed on her being an alcoholic and a ' druggy.'
Opening up about the horrendous ordeal, the content creator took to social media and shared a raw, emotional clip, leaving many horrified.
She acknowledged that someone reported her to social services, not only accusing her of child abuse, but holding her responsible for 'lots of things.'
The mum-of-two confirmed that she 'got questioned about everything' and was 'really upset' when she spoke to them on the phone, so much so that she 'kept having to pause' because she was crying so much.
She recognised: 'Obviously the phone call ended with no further action - they straight away shut it all down, but the fact I even had to go through that...'
The influencer, who recently caused controversy over feeing her babies breakfast that trolls thought could 'get stuck' in their throats, continued:
'People are so desperate for my downfall and bringing me down, but bringing my children into it is ludicrous - why would you want to do that to them, innocent babies?
'Do what you want to me, whatever, but to them, innocent children who are clearly very happy and healthy babies, that's crazy, you're an actual weirdo, you're an actual loser.'
Brittany claimed that Ash was 'questioned' and asked if he had any 'concerns' about her being an alcoholic or a 'druggy.'
The influencer claimed that as expected, her partner told her he 'spoke highly' of her and 'told them the truth.'
I was reported to social services for sharing the reality of being a council house mum on benefits, the police turned up
Despite being clearly upset about the situation, Brittany told trolls to 'make all the reports you want' as she confidently claimed haters would 'not get anywhere.'
The brunette highlighted that her 'happy, healthy babies' are 'thriving' and are not only 'very well looked after' but are most certainly 'not in any danger.'
Bringing my children into it is ludicrous - why would you want to do that to them, innocent babies?

Admitting to being 'taken back' by it all, Brittany continued: 'Never in a million years did I think I'd have to go through something like this - obviously, I'm in the spotlight, I get millions of views every video, I get it, there's nasty people out there, I understand that.
'I just think, how cruel can you actually be? So, so cruel.'
What happens when a parent is reported to social services?
When someone is reported, information about the parent is passed on to social services through a referral.
A social worker will then arrange a visit to the address to see if the information given is true and what they can do to help.
Within one working day of a concern being reported, a social worker should make the decision about what sort of investigation is needed.
There are two types of investigation that a social worker can choose to implement in this situation, under the Children's Act 1989.
A "child in need" assessment under section 17 of the 1989 act will identify the needs of the child and ensure that the family are given the appropriate support in enabling them to safeguard and promote the child's welfare.
A section 47 investigation is where there is reasonable cause to suspect that a child is suffering or likely to suffer significant harm.
This type of investigation can be undertaken by the police, a social care worker, or both.
If a referral is made to social services, they have an obligation to safeguard any children at the heart of any referral and ensure their safety and wellbeing.
There is a fear for many parents that their children will be removed, but this isn't necessary unless they believe the child faces an immediate risk of harm.
How to contact social services in the UK
There are a number of different ways to contact social services in the UK.
The best way is to go to your local authority's website to find the correct telephone and email contact number.
They may even have a form you can fill in and submit.
For child protection concerns you should dial 999 if it's an emergency, or contact the children and family services.
An out of hours contact should also be available.
The NHS website provides links to family action, and other ways of contacting social services include NSPCC and Childline.
There is also help on gov.uk, in which someone can enter their details to apply for a care assessment from social services.
Social media users react
The TikTok clip, which was posted on Brittany's official page @ brittanyhmiller, has clearly left many gobsmacked, as in three days, it has quickly gone viral and racked up 4.3 million views, 332,500 likes and 2,613 comments.
Social media users were 'appalled' that Brittany had been reported to social services and many eagerly rushed to the comments to share messages of love and support.
You're doing amazing with your beautiful boys. Don't worry about them, they are jealous
TikTok user
One person said: 'People are so horrible. Brittany, you're a GREAT mum.'
Another added: 'So while social services were concentrating on you, some little one could be saved from real child abuse…..these people have no life of their own and are wasting resources.'
A third commented: 'This is actually appalling. People may not like you but to do something that affects two very happy and loved babies is vile. People need to actually get a life.'
Meanwhile, someone else chimed in and wrote: 'You're doing amazing with your beautiful boys. Don't worry about them, they are jealous.'
Whilst another fan penned: 'Brittany, I am so sorry you went through that. Even false, it's still stressful.'

The perfect dress for ‘sticky' hot days has landed in Sainsbury's for just £22.50 & it's a must-have for summer holidays

IT'S that time of year again when many of us are preparing for a holiday in the sunshine. From making sure you have the right luggage to filling it with summer staples, and Sainsbury's has just the thing. 2 Shoppers are going wild for The Lobster Printed Strappy Midaxi Dress that is currently available in stores and online. The print features mosaic tiles each filled with different Mediterranean-inspired themes. Printed on the tiles are an array of summer items such as lemons, starfish, chillis, crabs and lobsters, making you reminisce about sitting by the beach enjoying a plate of fresh seafood. The dress features hints of blue, yellow and sunburnt orange to add to the summer vibe. It comes in a midaxi length and it's loose fit makes it classy and comfortable all at the same time. It features a low V-neck front and back with thin straps, making it an effortless style you can dress up or down. The dress is perfect for the beach with a pair of sandals and can also be styled with heeled shoes for the evening. It comes in an inclusive size range starting at a 6 and going up to a size 24. The best part is that the dress is super budget-friendly coming in at just £22.50. TU bosses say: "Designed in a orange lobster print for a distinctive summer look, this sun dress is a chic choice for beach days and sun-soaked getaways. I'm 5ft3 & a size 12-14 - my 7 Tesco dresses are an absolute bargain & perfect for a last-minute wedding guest outfit "Cut to midaxi length, it comes in a loose, flowing silhouette - finished with shoulder straps and a v-neckline." Shoppers who already bought the dress raved about it online, scoring it 4.9 out of 5. One person wrote: "Absolutely beautiful dress, lightweight and perfect for this hot sticky weather! Get lots of compliments when wearing this dress." Another commented: "I'm very happy with this purchase, really cool and easy to wear for our recent heatwave." "I love this dress! It's so comfortable to wear which is perfect for summer days and evenings. I really love the fact that it has pockets," penned a third. Is supermarket fashion the new high street? DEPUTY Fashion Editor Abby McHale weighs in: The supermarkets have really upped their game when it comes to their fashion lines. These days, as you head in to do your weekly food shop you can also pick up a selection of purse-friendly, stylish pieces for all the family. Tesco has just announced a 0.7 per cent increase in the quarter thanks to a 'strong growth in clothing' and M&S has earned the title of the number one destination for womenswear on the high street. Asda's clothing line George has made £1.5 million for the supermarket in 2023, 80 per cent of Sainsbury's clothes sold at full price rather than discounted and Nutmeg at Morrisons sales are also up 2 per cent in the past year. So what is it about supermarket fashion that is becoming so successful? Apart from the clothing actually being affordable, it's good quality too - with many being part of schemes such as the Better Cotton Initiative. A lot of the time they keep to classic pieces that they know will last the customer year after year. Plus because they buy so much stock they can turn around pieces quickly and buy for cheaper because of the volumes. Meanwhile a fourth said: "Love this dress! Flatteringly flowy and cool and too nice to just be saved for holidays!" "Very comfortable to wear. May buy another one to put away for my holiday!' claimed a fifth

Love Island spoilers: The ex-Islanders return to the villa in shock shake-up as Maya Jama reveals TWO couples are at risk of brutal dumping just HOURS before finale

Two Love Island couples risk being dumped from the villa just hours before the grand finale in brand new spoilers for Sunday's episode. Host Maya Jama will return to the Majorca mansion before this year's series officially draws to a close after almost two months. While the remaining Islanders countdown to Monday's live show, the 30-year-old's shock appearance leaves them reeling and questioning what's next. In a first look at Sunday's episode, Maya stuns as she walks into the villa wearing a summery mini dress for the announcement. Addressing the couples, she says: 'I have some very important news. Can you come and join me on the lawn?' She then continues: 'As you know, last night Megan and Conor were dumped as a result of receiving the least amount of votes for most compatible couple. Each former star then makes their entrance into the villa before gathering at the fire pit to share their honest opinions about the remaining couples 'I'm now going to reveal the two other couples who received the fewest votes and are at risk of being dumped from the island.' In a further twist, Maya said that the bottom two couples' fate will be decided by their ex-contestants as they return to the show in a shock twist. Each former star then makes their entrance into the villa before gathering at the fire pit to share their honest opinions about the remaining couples. Maya says: 'Today, one more couple will be dumped from the Love Island Villa. And that decision will be made by some very familiar faces.' Addressing the ex-Islanders, she added: 'Welcome back guys. You must now individually decide which couple is the least compatible. The couple with the most votes will be dumped from the island immediately.' The ex-Islanders then have their say, leaving the couples at risk less than impressed by their comments. Meg and Dejon, Shakira and Harry, Toni and Cach, Yasmin and Jamie, and Angel and Ty are all this year's Love Island finalists. The winning couple will walk away with a cool £50,000 during the live finale on Monday night, with the British public determining who wins. Meanwhile, Love Island has been hit by a fresh 'fix' row, after fans claimed that they've worked out which couple will be dumped from the villa. Sources had previously claimed that the couple was chosen after many former Islanders began to 'question the interity' of their connection, but the dumped pair has not yet been revealed. An insider told The Sun: 'This couple have been a big part of this series so this is a shocking moment. 'But having watched it back, ex- Islanders have become privy to action they weren't fully aware of and it left them more than questioning the integrity of this connection.' Now fans are convinced that despite a huge row in Friday's episode, Meg and Dejon will keep their places in the villa, having already been saved once over fan favourites Megan and Conor. Meanwhile, Love Island has been hit by a fresh 'fix' row , after fans claimed that they've worked out which couple will be dumped from the villa Taking to social media, fans expressed their disbelief that the seemingly incompatible couple were receiving more votes than other islanders. Addressing the ITV show's official X account, one fan fumed: 'FIX - you dumped the most natural compatible warm couple Conor and Megan and kept in devious Dejon and Fatal Attraction Meg just for the ratings. Its a fix love island [sic].' Others agreed, writing: 'No sorry but love island. If they don't dump Meg and Dijon on Sunday I know it's 1000% a fix. 'No ex islander in their right might wouldn't vote for Meg and Dijon. They know how the public feel. It'll be you that's told them not to vote for them.' Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
