Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics offers scholarships for Master's programmes
AMMAN — The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the availability of three scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year, provided by the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics for Master's programmes in Molecular Medicine, Medical Genetics, and Neuroscience and Biotechnology.
Candidates will be evaluated based on their academic qualifications, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The scholarships cover the full tuition fees and provide a monthly stipend for accommodation and living expenses. Applicants must obtain an English language proficiency certificate through either the IELTS Academic Test or TOEFL IBT.

The deadline for applications is May 14, and students must comply with the 2023 regulations for equivalency of non-Jordanian certificates.

Jordan Armed Forces evacuate new batch of child patients from Gaza - Jordan News
The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army on Wednesday implemented the sixth medical evacuation operation for child patients from Gaza, which included 23 patients, along with 47 family members, as part of the Jordan Medical Corridor initiative. اضافة اعلان Nineteen of the children will be receiving treatment at Jordanian private hospitals, accompanied by 40 from their families, while four patients will be evacuated to Türkiye for treatment, alongside seven family members, within international collaboration with Jordan's humanitarian efforts. A total of 77 children and 169 family members have been medically evacuated by land and air to Jordan since the medical corridor initiative was launched. Jordan is keen to evacuate more child patients from Gaza and to expedite the process, but there are limitations due to technical and logistical challenges facing the WHO, as well as Israeli restrictions. The Jordan Medical Corridor initiative was launched in March this year upon Royal directives, in line with the Kingdom's steadfast role in supporting the people of Gaza.

Jordanian Field Hospital in Nablus/7 Begins Providing Medical Services - Jordan News
The Jordanian Field Hospital Nablus/7 officially began receiving patients on Sunday, launching its medical and therapeutic services to help alleviate the suffering of residents in the West Bank. اضافة اعلان The hospital commander stated that the facility started welcoming patients today as part of the humanitarian and medical mission carried out by the Jordanian medical teams. He emphasized that the hospital is operating with all available resources to deliver the highest standard of medical care to the people of Nablus. On its first day, the hospital treated 670 patients, providing minor surgeries, chronic disease management, lab tests, and emergency internal medicine care through specialized clinics equipped to meet patients' needs with high efficiency. The hospital includes clinics covering various specialties such as pediatrics, gynecology, ophthalmology, ENT, dentistry, and general medicine. It is also equipped with major and minor operating rooms, intensive care units, an X-ray lab, sterilization units, and a pharmacy. All services are provided under the supervision of a qualified medical team comprising doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals. Local residents expressed deep appreciation for the efforts of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, for his honorable stance toward the Palestinian people. They affirmed that these efforts reflect the strong fraternal ties between the two brotherly nations.
