"At one point I felt there were too many captains," said Kartik on Cricbuzz. "I just couldn't understand that. KL Rahul was making hand movements, Rishabh Pant was also doing it, and so was Shubman Gill who is actually the man appointed as captain. I couldn't understand those multiple hand signals. You wouldn't want to complicate things. There is only one captain."
Karthik further elaborated on acceptable levels of senior player involvement versus what he witnessed during the match.

There exists this added desire to do well in such an environment.' When asked if playing in India would bring about added pressure, he said, 'Not pressure, but enthusiasm.' The 21-year-old also hoped that the league would help expand the shooting community further, saying, 'Shooting is a great sport. 'We had four training sessions to focus on that, which has helped us prepare for the upcoming matches and specific teams," said Chettri. There was no training on Wednesday, as Chettri gave the players a complete rest day to refresh, something he considers crucial between games. 'In my view, recovery and spending time away from football are important. In a high-pressure tournament with consecutive matches, taking a break from the game helps.
