Controversial former ABC star who lost her job over Gaza posts makes shock career move as she joins forces with Abbie Chatfield

Daily Mail20-07-2025
Controversial former ABC freelancer Antoinette Lattouf has announced she has signed with the Stage Addiction talent agency - the same agency as Abbie Chatfield.
Lattouf, 45, who made headlines earlier last year after her highly-publicised wrongful dismissal case against the public broadcaster, went online last month to revealed her dramatic career move.
In a post shared with her new agency, Lattouf posed for a professional photo in a stylish all-blue slacks and short outfit and included a cheeky caption.
'Who's this human headline hottie now being repped by Stage Addiction?' the Instagram post began.
She added, 'Get your people to call my people etc etc.'

Ben Grand of Stage Addiction is set to manage the broadcaster and writer, reported Sky News last month.
Also included on the Stage Addiction talent roster is Cheek Media founder and TV commentator and author Hannah Ferguson and Bachelor star Matt Agnew.
Lattouf, who has 118K followers, received an enthusiastic response from her fans, who filled sent messages of congratulations.
'You're such a talent. Beauty, brains, heart and comedic genius,' said one follower while Matt Agnew simply wrote 'Welcome'.
'Fearless Warrior Journalist Presenter I presume! And my absolute Hero!' said another user.
Lattouf won her case for unlawful termination against the ABC, with the public broadcaster ordered to pay her $70,000 in compensation last month.
The casual radio host and Palestine advocate was hired for a week-long stint on ABC Radio Sydney's Mornings program in December 2023.
She was let go after just three shifts for sharing a Human Rights Watch post that said Israel was using starvation as a 'weapon of war' in Gaza.
The ABC claimed it took Lattouf off the air because she failed to follow a direction not to post about Israel or the war in Gaza during her five-day shift.
But Justice Darryl Rangiah, who delivered his judgement in Sydney's Federal Court In June, disagreed, finding pro-Israel lobbyists formed an 'orchestrated campaign' to pressure then-ABC chair Ita Buttrose to take Lattouf off air.
He found the ABC contravened the Fair Work Act by terminating Lattouf's employment 'for reasons including that she held a political opinion opposing the Israeli military campaign in Gaza '.
Justice Rangiah ordered the ABC to pay Lattouf compensation of $70,000, with the public broadcaster also potentially on the hook for 'pecuniary penalties' for breaking the law.
In a statement to Daily Mail Australia, Lattouf boasted about her 'landmark' win.

Kyle said that George was the 'greatest employee ever' thanks to his actions following the accident. 'What did [he] say when he was taken away in the ambulance? He asked for his mobile phone so he could do what?' he added. 'This is a guy at 4.30 in the morning after he has been cut out of his vehicle, he's been trapped in his van for an hour, this poor bloke. 'And he asks the ambo: "Get my phone so I can make sure Kyle's all right for the week."' The young woman who crashed her $600,000 Rolls-Royce into George's Mercedes was allegedly drunk and will face court. The high-speed, head-on collision occurred around 3.30am on Saturday at New South Head Road in Rose Bay, in the city's east. NSW Police allege LanLan Yang, 23, veered onto the wrong side of the road, slamming into a Mercedes van being driven by the 52-year-old chauffeur. George, who runs Dakota Limousines, was trapped in the wreckage as horrified witnesses rushed to call triple zero. He could be heard yelling for help inside the crushed vehicle, as emergency crews from NSW Police Rescue and Fire and Rescue NSW worked to free him. Police allege Yang carried out a roadside breath test, which returned a positive result, and she was arrested at the scene. At Waverley Police Station, she allegedly refused to undergo a breath analysis. Yang was charged with causing bodily harm by misconduct, being in charge of a motor vehicle, and refusing or failing to submit to breath analysis. She was granted conditional bail and ordered to surrender her passport. Footy bad boy Jordan De Goey reveals baby joy with his TV star girlfriend Aisha Jade McKinnon

Collingwood star Jordan De Goey has revealed he and partner Aisha Jade McKinnon are expecting their first child, calling the joyful news 'the greatest surprise of them all'. The couple made the big reveal on Instagram, sharing a photo of De Goey's hands cradling McKinnon's baby bump, accompanied by an ultrasound video and a clip of the moment the overjoyed Magpies forward found out he is going to be a dad. 'In the midst of our changing lives we were blessed with the greatest surprise of them all, baby girl coming soon,' read the caption on the post. Their announcement drew congratulatory messages from De Goey's teammates Isaac Quaynor and Mason Cox, as well as Annalise Dalins, the fiancée of Pies star Josh Daicos. McKinnon - who starred on Big Brother and is forging a career in fashion design - made their romance official last October when they attended Collingwood's best and fairest night. The couple have bought a farm together and McKinnon has previously opened up about her man's reputation as a bad boy off the field. The footy glamour couple are due to have a daughter - with the announcement drawing messages of congratulations from other AFL stars De Goey briefly ended up in a New York jail in October 2021 after pleading not guilty to a charge of forcible touching in a New York night club, and he made headlines in 2022 when a video emerged of him touching and exposing a woman's breast at a nightclub in Bali. The 29-year-old was slammed by fans and footy experts when he said he had 'made mistakes' because he has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. 'Late last year, I was diagnosed with ADHD and I am trying to become more aware of why I make mistakes that I do. I have again made a mistake – this is an ongoing journey for me – and I remain absolutely committed to changing,' De Goey said in an official Collingwood statement. He joked that he would have to 'lock himself inside his house to stay out of trouble' before going on to star for Collingwood as they won the premiership in 2023. 'It's sad because I know a very different Jordy,' McKinnon said in December last year. 'He's really lovely. We definitely value our privacy, we connected on that, and we both have unique jobs and support each other.' De Goey has only played five games this year as premiership favourites Collingwood sit atop the ladder. Problems with his Achilles tendon and concussion have kept him out of the AFL since round nine, but he took a big step on Saturday as he played in the VFL.

Outback Wrangler Matt Wright is supported by his wife as he enters plea over helicopter crash that killed his co-star

Outback Wrangler's Matt Wright has pleaded not guilty to attempting to pervert the course of justice more than three years after a fatal helicopter crash. The reality TV star was charged following the crash that killed co-star Chris 'Willow' Wilson in February 2022. Wearing a light blue shirt and blue jeans, Wright appeared calm when he fronted the Supreme Court in Darwin on Monday. He entered not guilty pleas for three counts of attempting to pervert the course of justice when he was arraigned, kissing his wife during an adjournment. The 2022 crash in remote West Arnhem Land killed Mr Wilson, with pilot Sebastian Robinson also seriously injured. The trial is scheduled to begin on Wednesday and is expected to take four weeks, hearing from about 25 witnesses. Wright rose to fame starring in National Geographic's Outback Wrangler and Netflix series Wild Croc Territory.
