Strengthening Partnerships between Sports Clubs
The cultural competition is part of the SSC summer vacation activities. It coincides with Dibba Al Hisn Club's commitment to supporting purposeful knowledge initiatives and strengthening partnerships between sports clubs in the emirate by providing interactive platforms that combine education and entertainment, instilling in participants the concepts of teamwork, belonging, and individual and collective excellence.
The competition was held in an atmosphere brimming with energy and positive competition. The event saw an outstanding level of attendance and organisation, with the Al Hamriyah Sports and Cultural Club team winning first place and the championship title.
Big Turnout
Al Batayeh Sports and Cultural Club came in second, and Al Madam Sports and Cultural Club took third place. This followed a series of intellectual and competitive rounds that combined general culture, sports knowledge, and collective intelligence.
The event saw a remarkable attendance, led by Sheikh Khalid bin Faisal Al Qasimi, member of SSC Supervisory and Implementation Committee; His Excellency Mohammed Hassan Al Dhahouri, member of the Federal National Council (FNC) and member of the Arab Parliament; His Excellency Ahmed Abdullah bin Yarouf Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Dibba Al Hisn Municipal Council; His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Tarban, Chairman of the Dibba Al Hisn Football Club; His Excellency Bakhit Saeed Saif Al Qurs, Director of the Sports and Community Events Department at the Sharjah Sports Council; and Ahmed Al Salman, Director of the "Our Holiday is Different" programme. Also present were several SSC members, the club's board of directors, and the company, as well as community and sports figures from Dibba Al Hisn.
Developing Youth Capabilities
His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Tarban emphasised that organising this competition embodies SSC vision of developing the capabilities of young people and honing their intellectual and athletic skills. He noted that the club always prioritises improving the quality of summer programs and creating a stimulating and safe environment that makes a difference in building confident and creative generations. Al Tarban added that Dibba Al Hisn Club is proud to host this unique event, which reflects the spirit of cooperation and integration among the emirate's clubs. The club believes that excellence lies not only in the playing fields, but also in developing minds and unleashing the latent potential of our youth.
Recognition
The participants and club representatives expressed their appreciation for the excellent hosting and organisation, commending the pioneering role played by Dibba Al Hisn Club in supporting summer events and community activities that contribute to strengthening relationships between clubs and raising the level of cultural interaction among youth, which positively reflects the clubs' presence in the educational and social arena.

He also discussed methods for achieving digital balance and ways to promote a safe digital culture, enhancing participants' awareness in this vital field. The event was attended by His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Tarban, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al Hisn Football Club, and Ahmed Abdullah Al Qasib, Chairman of the Organising Committee, along with a number of parents and interested parties. The interactive atmosphere was filled with purposeful discussions and questions that reflected the participants' interest. Our heritage and children The workshops were complemented by a heritage event titled "Our Heritage and Children," which focused on the importance of instilling concepts of national identity and the values of authentic Emirati society in the hearts of young people. Participants were introduced to elements of popular heritage and social customs through an engaging narrative and practical approach that helps connect the new generation to their cultural roots. Heritage gypsum The third workshop, titled "Heritage Gypsum," was presented by Professor Asma Rashid Al Kabouri. She reviewed the history of traditional gypsum in Emirati architecture and its shaping techniques. Participants engaged in practical sculpting and shaping themselves, which gave them the opportunity to get a closer understanding of this authentic heritage art form and enhance their artistic and creative skills. Integrated summer programmes These workshops and activities are part of the club's strategy to offer integrated summer programmes that combine entertainment and learning, aiming to build children's cognitive, national, and physical character, in line with the Emirate of Sharjah's efforts to support children and develop their abilities. The day's activities also included various sporting activities held in the indoor gymnasium, including football, karate, swimming, and stationary cycling. The activities were held in an exciting atmosphere that encouraged participants to continue their activity and movement in a safe and integrated educational environment.
