Supercross 2025 results: 250 West highlights, rundown, reaction at Anaheim 2, Haiden Deegan wins
Deegan earned the holeshot with red plate holder Julien Beaumer on his back wheel. After some drama between those two riders in the heat race, Beaumer attempted to push Deegan up the hill in Turn 1, but was unable to stand his rival up. Deegan rocketed off the banking and was not seen again as he led all 17 laps of the race since the 2024 season finale East / West Showdown in Salt Lake City.
Beaumer steadily lost ground to Deegan on the track and finished nearly four and a half seconds off the pace, but he was aware that championships are won with consistency and by the rider making the fewest mistake. He lost five points to his principal championship rival but maintains a seven-point advantage. Beaumer has been the most pleasant surprise in the 250 West division as he 'keeps calm and carries on.'
The early races of Cole Davies' Supercross career have been marked with solid starts, so no one knew what to expect when he completed Lap 1 in seventh. Davies steadily worked his way through the pack and was sixth on Lap 3, fifth on Lap 5, and was fourth the following lap. It seemed his progress would stall there until Jordon Smith crashed on the final lap and cleared the way to third. This was Davies' first podium of the season and his second top-five.
After giving Factory Triumph their first podium in the season opener, Smith was on his way to allowing them to sweep that position through three rounds until he charged too hard on the final lap in an attempt to pass Beaumer for the runner-up position. Smith tipped over on the final lap and relinquished third but remains perfect in regard to top-fives.
Coty Schock raced with the leaders throughout the Round 3 feature, never climbing higher than fourth or falling lower than fifth. He's proving that year's Cinderella season was not a fluke with two results of sixth in the opening rounds and this week's fifth-place finish.
Riding with two broken fingers, Jo Shimoda finished just outside of the top five in sixth. He has one more race this weekend in Glendale, Arizona, before the 250 West riders get a break to allow the Eastern riders to take the field.
With injuries to teammates Ty Masterpool and Garrett Marchbanks, Drew Adams got the call to ascend to the professional ranks. His Supercross debut was marked by impressive speed in practice and qualification as well as his first top-10 in the division. Adams climbed as high as sixth in the feature and finished eighth.

Motocross 2025 250 results, highlights, finish at Spring Creek: Haiden Deegan, Jeremy Martin split motos
Haiden Deegan fought through the effects of a deeply bruised leg suffered at RedBud to hold off Jo Shimoda for the Moto 1 victory, and Jeremy Martin ended his career on a high note by winning Moto 2 of the Spring Creek National in Millville, Minnesota. In Moto 1, Deegan led early before he lost some pace in the middle stage of the race. Shimoda pounced, but he did not create enough separation from the 250 Motocross leader and held the top spot for only one lap. Deegan's determination in that moto made the difference in the overall finish as well, because of the three-point separation between first and second. Deegan was awarded the overall victory by two points over Martin. Click here for a recap of Spring Creek There were no complaints from Martin, however, who was making the final start of his career. He knew he would end on a high note the moment he earned the holeshot in Moto 1; the roar of the hometown crowd told him as much. Martin gave up the lead to Shimoda on the first lap and second to Deegan on Lap 7, but he determined to hang onto his podium position and finished third in the first race. After earning the holeshot again in Moto 2, he lost the top spot to Shimoda before battling back to score an easy victory over Deegan. Any one of these accomplishments would have made Martin ecstatic, as he added a moto win and overall podium finish to his holeshots. Shimoda failed to back up last week's dominant performance in Buchanan, Michigan, with a third-place overall finish in Millville. He admitted to having a little help with his pass on Deegan in Moto 1, suggesting a lapped rider kept Deegan from taking the preferred groove. Shimoda battled Deegan in the closing laps of Moto 1, but did not have the pace to regain the lead once he lost. Fading to fourth in the second race, he vowed to keep working to close the distance. Relive Moto 1 It is only a matter of time before Mikkel Haarup earns his first overall podium. He finished fourth in the past two motos, but needed a little help at RedBud. His eighth- and fifth-place finishes were respectable, but his elevation to fourth overall was as much a factor of Deegan's and Levi Kitchen's misfortune. That was not true at Spring Creek, where Haarup swept the top five, finishing fourth in Moto 1 and third in Moto 2. This is only a preview of things to come, Haarup said after the race. Garrett Marchbanks rounded out the top five with seventh-place results in both motos. (AP) — Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea square off in the final of the Club World Cup at MetLife Stadium on Sunday with the chance to become the first winner of the newly expanded tournament. Kickoff is 3 p.m. Eastern time. Thirty-two teams from around the world entered the competition but it ends with an all-European final. PSG is reigning Champions League winner, having routed Inter Milan 5-0 in that title match. Chelsea won the third-tier UEFA Conference League in May. The French champion is the favorite, having beaten Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid on its path to the final. But Chelsea is a rising force under manager Enzo Maresca. The Premier League club has qualified for the Champions League for the first time in three years, as well as winning the Conference League. Here's the latest: 3-0 Chelsea! João Pedro strikes before halftime João Pedro makes it 3-0 with a delightful flick over goalkeeper Gianluigi Donarumma in the 43rd minute. After two goals in the semifinals, he's got another in the final. Again Chelsea has cut PSG open on the left of the French team's defense. It was a brilliant throughball by Cole Palmer. Three yellow cards for Chelsea Pedro Neto, Moises Caicedo and Malo Gusto could be walking a tightrope for the rest of the match, with all three on yellow cards. That's about the only negative for Chelsea in what has been an outstanding first half against a PSG team that has been made to look ordinary. Cole Palmer fires shot just wide as Chelsea threatens early Parts of the stadium thought Chelsea scored — but Cole Palmer's curling effort hit the side netting in the eighth minute. Chelsea wouldn't have wanted that chance to fall to anyone else but Palmer — even if he has been unusually quiet in front of goal since the turn of the year. The England international has only scored four times in 2025 and only once in the Club World Cup. Heavy police presence across France to avoid potential chaotic celebrations Tens of thousands of police officers have been deployed across France in anticipation of tonight's game in the United States.
