He also shared a behind-the-scenes video titled 'The Excavation Begins', which offers a sneak-peek into the months of preparation that went into the ambitious project.

The actor, who is seen sporting a new look for the thriller, is seen actively participating in the film's prep sessions. Directed by Karthik Varma Dandu, NC24 is being positioned as a grand mystical thriller. The project is backed by producer BVSN Prasad in collaboration with Sukumar under the banners of SVCC and Sukumar Writings. With music by Ajaneesh Loknath, NC24 promises to showcase Chaitanya in a refreshing, powerful new avatar. The film also features rising talent Sparsh Shrivastava, known for Laapataa Ladies, in a key role, while Meenakshi Chaudhary is speculated to join as the female lead.

The singer has now become the most followed artist in the world on Spotify. He has surpassed other globally-popular artists like Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, BTS and The Weeknd, among others. As of July 1, Arijit Singh had a staggering 151 million followers on Spotify. Reportedly, songs like 'Dhun" from Saiyara, 'Jaane Tu" from the Vicky Kaushal-starrer Chhaava, have helped the singer achieve this feat. Arijit Singh is followed by Taylor Swift, with 139 million followers on the platform. Others, including Ed Sheeran, Billie Eilish and The Weeknd have 121 million, 114 million and 107.2 million followers on Spotify, respectively. K-pop group BTS, which was away for a long time due to their mandatory military service, has 80 million followers. Interestingly, Ariana Grande and Eminem have also crossed 100 million followers on the platform.
