Channel 4's dating show sees celebrities try to find love with a new group of famous faces looking for 'the one' in each series.
Labbett, known on the quiz show as The Beast, admitted he had been 'single for most of my life', before adding: 'I'm a little bit on the spectrum.'
The quizzer has diabetes and it was this that forced him to take a break while filming, reports The Mirror.
He said: 'One night, I had a hypoglycaemic attack,' adding: 'I might have been a bit grumpy that night. I apologised to everyone after.'
The Beast said a nap on set afterwards helped him out.
Also while filming, Labbett was reportedly asked 'to read social cues', the newspaper says.
Labbett said: 'I went, 'What do you mean?''
He added: ''You don't notice people's emotions when in the room?,' and I said no. There was shock on both sides.'
What is a hypoglycaemic attack?
The NHS explains: "Low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia or a hypo) is usually where your blood sugar (glucose) is below 4mmol/L. It needs to be treated quickly to stop it getting worse, but you can usually treat it yourself."
Symptoms of hypoglycaemia include feeling hungry, dizzy or anxious, sweating, shaking and more.
You can find out more about hypoglycaemia via the NHS website.
Celebs Go Dating lineup
The series' lineup includes former Love Island star Olivia Hawkins, former Too Hot to Handle star Louis Russell, Donna Preston from The Sandman and Made In Chelsea's Sam Prince.
TV personality Christine McGuinness is also taking part in the show alongside singer and reality star Kerry Katona, and Jon Lee from S Club 7.

Celebrity SAS star Adam Collard blamed himself for partner Laura Woods' miscarriage

Celebrity SAS star Adam Collard blamed himself for partner Laura Woods' miscarriage The former Love Island star is currently competing on the gruelling Channel 4 programme Laura Woods and Adam Collard (Image: INSTAGRAM) Reality TV star Adam Collard has spoken publicly for the first time about the heartbreak he and his fiancée Laura Woods endured after suffering a miscarriage. ‌ Collard revealed the couple lost their baby when Laura was 11 weeks pregnant, just weeks before she conceived again. In January 2025, the couple welcomed a baby boy, Leo. ‌ The 29-year-old, who rose to fame on Love Island and has since appeared on Celebs Go Dating, is currently taking on brutal physical and mental challenges in the upcoming series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, which began on Sunday. ‌ In a deeply personal moment on the show, Collard reflects on the tragedy and admits he blamed himself at the time, believing it to be retribution for his behaviour on reality TV. 'I know it's a terrible way to look at it, but I felt like it was bad karma for me being on dating shows and upsetting too many people,' he says. 'I felt like that was some higher power's way of being like, 'Well, there you go, that's what you have to carry.'' Article continues below He added: 'I was just a cocky little p***k, being a love rat, jumping from girl to girl. I want to show I'm not that man any more.' Collard became known for his controversial stints on Love Island in both 2018 and 2022, where he was at the centre of several short-lived romances. His time on the show earned him a reputation for womanising — coupling up with four different contestants during his first appearance. ‌ He later dated Strictly Come Dancing star Zara McDermott for seven months and, more recently, Welsh contestant Paige Thorne during his 2022 return to the villa. That relationship also ended quickly after the show, with Collard later admitting he 'used' Paige to prolong his stay in the competition. He also had a brief relationship with model Lottie Moss after they met on Celebs Go Dating, though that ended shortly after he was accused of cheating. ‌ Collard says meeting presenter Laura marked a turning point in his life. The pair began dating in October 2023 and quickly built a strong relationship, announcing they were expecting a child the following year. He described Laura as 'the one' and credited her support, alongside his experience on Celebrity SAS, as having a lasting impact on his mental health. Article continues below 'On a personal level, I wanted to test myself mentally,' he said. 'I had a lot of stuff going on before I went on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, and I've got to be honest — but credit to the show — I actually think it had the most positive impact on my mental health.'

Absolutely Everything You Need Too Know About Sandy Gallagher, The Star Of Netflix's Perfect Match

With Love Island coming to an end tonight, you might be wondering how we're going to fill the reality shaped hole in our TV schedules. Step in Perfect Match, Netflix's dating show, which features contestants from other reality shows, who then pair up and compete in a series of challenges. Think of it as all your favourite dating shows, in one. After a successful first couple of runs, the show is back for its third series, with the cast featuring stars from Love is Blind, Temptation Island, Love Island USA and UK and Too Hot to Handle, to name a few. One of the stars who will be making an impact on the show is Sandy Gallagher, who has matched with former Too Hot to Handle lothario Louis Rusell. Sandy Gallagher is a reality TV star who found fame on season three of Netflix's The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On. Since the show, Sandy has been making waves in the fashion, entertainment, and entrepreneurial worlds - and now has a reality TV stint coming up. In an interview with Lady Gunn, Sandy spoke about how her journey to the entertainment industry came as a surprise. 'I never really thought I'd be in the entertainment space, to be honest. I was on a much more traditional route post-college, working corporate sales. I was doing very well at my job when I suddenly felt the urge to quit and try something new,' she told the outlet. 'Shortly after that, I got approached for 'The Ultimatum.' I felt that the timing of this wasn't a coincidence.' Sandy Gallagher was born on 19th November 1995, making her 29-years-old. Sandy certainly had a journey filled with ups and downs while on The Ultimatum! She joined the show with her partner Nick Tramontin after he gave her an ultimatum – he was ready to leave the city and get married, while she felt she was too young. Nick and Sandy had a rocky journey on the show, with Nick's insecurities gradually impacting their relationship. This led to the couple breaking up and embarking on trial marriages with different partners on the show. Sandy went on to form a strong connection co-star star Jr Warren, who had been given an ultimatum by his girlfriend Zaina Sesay. Nick re-coupled with Vanessa but was left single when she left the show. In the end, Sandy and Nick moved back in together, but there was tension when Nick found it difficult to hear Sandy's intimate connection with JR. In the end. Nick decided not to propose, and the pair left the experiment single. The pair had a controversial journey – so how does Sandy reflect on the experience now? 'One of the most surprising things I learned about myself from going on 'The Ultimatum' is how calm and strong I can be through a highly chaotic and challenging time. I guess I never knew how far my strength could go until it was tested to new measures,' she told Lady Gunn. Yes! You can keep up to date with all things Sandy at her handle@sandy_gal.
