Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown, NBA legend Tracy McGrady work out together
Fans of star Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown know that the Georgia native is often compared to iconic retired NBAer Tracy McGrady. But fewer of them know the close ties that the duo have shared since Brown reached out to McGrady as a rising prospect in high school.
The two forwards have similar games on the court, and that is no accident. For more than a decade now, the two have been working out together, McGrady sharing his deep knowledge of the game with Brown. They even recorded a video of their collaboration early on, and have now produced a second clip six years later that the Cal alum recently put up on his official YouTube channel.
Take a look at the clip embedded below to see the clip for yourself!

Knicks reserve guard could see increased role next season

New York Knicks guard Miles McBride could be the biggest beneficiary of Mike Brown being hired as the team's new head coach. Per SNY's Ian Begley, McBride could see an increased role compared to his role under Tom Thibodeau. 'We don't know how Knicks coach Mike Brown will deploy his rotation. But it's logical to think that McBride will play significant minutes with Clarkson and Yabusele,' Begley said. In the past, it would appear at times as though McBride wasn't being utilized properly in the rotation. Now with Brown, it's possible that McBride could see an increased role in the offense. McBride has the ability to play in several different types of lineups for the Knicks thanks to his ability to space the floor and defend at a high level. McBride himself spoke with Begley about sharing the second unit with new acquisitions Jordan Clarkson, and Guerschon Yabusele. 'Obviously (Clarkson's) a vet in this league. He's done great things,' McBride said, per Begley. 'Obviously, he can fill up the stat sheet and really score the ball at a high level. And obviously adding Geurschon as well. I think everybody's seen what he did in the Olympics and carrying that momentum into (last season), so we're really excited about him.' 'I feel like we're going to play fast, we're going to be using a lot of different guys,' he added. 'If you saw the Finals, they (Oklahoma City and Indiana) had a lot of depth on both teams, and I feel like we're all NBA guys. So if you're on the team, I feel like you're able to help out.' McBride averaged a career-best 9.5 points per game last season off the bench, and shot 37 percent from three-point range. Next year could be a breakout season for him should he get an increased role.

Nikola Jokic's agent posts crytpic photos with LeBron James, Maverick Carter to tease ‘big plans'

If Nikola Jokic's agent was looking to raise some eyebrows, he certainly succeeded. Misko Raznatovic, the agent of the Denver Nuggets superstar, posted to Instagram a not-so-subtle post of himself on a yacht with Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James and his longtime business partner, Maverick Carter. The post is geotagged in Saint Tropez, France, though it's unclear when exactly the get-together took place. The Instagram post is additionally captioned, 'The summer of 2025 is the perfect time to make big plans for the fall of 2026!' The post and its timing certainly grab the attention of basketball fans everywhere, considering the implications it could have. James, 40, opted into his contract with the Lakers for this upcoming season, which he's set to make $52.6 million in, and it likely signals the end of his tenure with the Lakers, with whom he signed with in 2018 as a free agent and helped them win a title in 2020. And the agent to one of the biggest NBA stars on the planet meeting with James and his business partner would certainly lend more credence to the idea that James' time in Hollywood could be coming to a close. IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters Connect The Nuggets and teaming with Jokic would give James another shot at an NBA title and Denver is expected to have the necessary cap space to make something happen. Speculation has continued and on Sunday, NBA insider Marc Stein reported that James' future in LA would come down to one major factor. 'It all really depends on how this coming season goes,' a source told the insider. 'We understand the difficulty in winning now while preparing for the future,' Klein said in his statement last month. 'We do want to evaluate what's best for LeBron at this stage in his life and career. He wants to make every season he has left count, and the Lakers understand that, are supportive and want what's best for him.'
