9-1-1′s Oliver Stark Fuels Rumors of a Crossover With Spinoff 9-1-1: Nashville
Is Evan Buckley paying a visit to Music City this fall? A recent Instagram story posted by Oliver Stark has convinced fans of the first-responder franchise that a crossover between 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Nashville is imminent. '6 Nashville Miles for breakfast,' Stark posted over the weekend on a video of himself running along the city streets, adding a smirking devil emoji for good measure. ABC Moves Up Premiere Date for 9-1-1, 9-1-1: Nashville and Grey's Anatomy Could Stark have simply been enjoying a weekend getaway to the country music capital of the world? Sure, Jan. But it's far more likely (not to mention way more fun) to speculate that a crossover is in the works. 9-1-1 only staged one full-blown crossover event with 9-1-1: Lone Star during its five-season run on Fox. The February 2021 episode included an iconic exchange between Buck and Lone Star's T.K. (Ronen Rubinstein), who made it clear to Buck that he already had a boyfriend. And just think, that was three full years before Buck came out as bisexual! A second crossover aired in 2022, but it was only by way of a FaceTime call between 9-1-1′s Athena (Angela Bassett) and Lone Star's Carlos (Rafael L. Silva) and Grace (Sierra McClain). Led by Chris O'Donnell, 9-1-1: Nashville's series-regular roster includes Jessica Capshaw, LeAnn Rimes, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Hailey Kilgore, Michael Provost, Juani Feliz and Hunter McVey. Regardless of whether Buck ends up sharing the screen with any of the Nashville crew, we do know that the two shows will be sharing a night on ABC's fall schedule. New episodes of 9-1-1 air Thursdays at 8/7c, followed by new episodes of 9-1-1: Nashville, beginning Oct. 9. Are you hoping for a meeting of the 9-1-1's this fall? Chargers linebacker Denzel Perryman is released from jail and won't face criminal charges
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Denzel Perryman was released from jail Monday afternoon and will not face criminal charges after he was arrested Friday evening on weapons charges during a traffic stop for vehicle code violations, jail records show. During the traffic stop, officials discovered five firearms, including two assault weapons, in Perryman's car, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said in a statement. Perryman, 32, was booked on felony charges for possessing assault weapons and held without bail, but prosecutors did not file charges, according to jail records. He was released around 1:00 p.m., which means his arrest will be listed as a detention on his record. The LA County District Attorney's Office did not immediately respond to an emailed request for comment. A spokesperson for the Chargers also did not respond to an email seeking comment. Perryman, an 11-year NFL veteran, has also played for the Houston Texans and the Las Vegas Raiders. He is in his second stint with the Chargers after rejoining the team before the 2024 season.

Pam Bondi Escalates Attacks On Obama Officials By Calling For Grand Jury Investigation: Reports
The Justice Department is reportedly probing allegations that Obama officials fabricated evidence of Russian interference during the 2016 election, doubling down on attempts to distract from its controversial handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files. Per reports from CNN and Fox News, Attorney General Pam Bondi has called on prosecutors to initiate a grand jury investigation into these claims – a move that could lead to subpoenas of former officials and even potential indictments. A DOJ spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Bondi's decision effectively endorses Trump's latest baseless conspiracy theory — which has included accusing Obama of treason — and comes as the administration has struggled to move on from the Epstein debacle. In recent weeks, Trump argued that Obama and his team manipulated intelligence to delegitimize his presidency, pointing to an announcement from Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard as proof. Gabbard, in July, released files that she says indicate that Obama officials produced a 'contrived narrative that Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help President Trump win.' She also referred the issue to the DOJ for a criminal investigation ― and suggested that these actions were effectively a 'coup.' Gabbard's interpretation distorts past conclusions drawn by members of the intelligence community, who determined that Russia fielded an influence campaign to damage former Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and boost Trump. That finding was also backed by a bipartisan group of lawmakers in the Senate Intelligence Committee – including now-Secretary of State Marco Rubio. While Gabbard's files provide new information, they don't negate prior findings that Russia sought to influence U.S. voters during the 2016 election, NPR reports. Obama spokesperson Patrick Rodenbush has dismissed Trump's accusations as a 'ridiculous and a weak attempt at distraction' as well. 'Nothing in the document issued last week undercuts the widely accepted conclusion that Russia worked to influence the 2016 presidential election but did not successfully manipulate any votes,' Rodenbush said in July.
