Bistro garden patio plummets in bundle sale and discount code offer
Keen gardeners are in full swing, tending to their plots and outdoor spaces as the summer weather returns. Shoppers considering adding a seating area to their gardens can find deals online now, with some substantial savings to be made.
Rattan sofas and large patio furniture have been trending for some time now, but the boxy sets can often be too big for yards and smaller gardens. Thanks to a stack deal, consumers can currently buy a three-piece bistro-style patio set on sale at Yimbly for £71.99.
The Greenhurst Garden Patio Bistro Set is normally £99. The marketplace has it on general sale for £79.99, but there's also a discount code on offer, 'SUMMERDAYS10'. When applied at the checkout, buyers can get an additional 10% off, taking the price down to £71.99.
Yimbly is an online marketplace owned by The Mirror's parent company, Reach Plc, and shipping on a customer's first order is free. The 'SUMMERDAYS10' is valid until July 31, Gloucestershire Live.
Available in either bronze antique or gun metal grey finishes, the bistro garden set has a charming rose pattern. It comprises two chairs and a bijou round table, crafted from robust, weatherproof UV-stabilised polyurethane mimicking wrought iron.
Dunelm also has plenty of similar options, including this Santorini four-seater Conversation Set, which is on sale for £109.50 down from £219. As the set is metal, it doesn't require setting up and can be used straight away. It is offered in beige or green colours.
Elsewhere, Wowcher is offering a rattan corner sofa and coffee table for £249, worth £799. The sofa seats five people and is made from durable material that can withstand sun, rain, snow, and wind.
Greenhurst's Garden Patio Bistro Set is also available at Sports Direct for £97.99, where customers have left reviews. One customer shared: "It is light to carry and move about, but sturdy to sit on and at the table.
"I am buying a second set this year for another place in the garden. Bought in the sale this time as the price had gone up from last year. Weather is well."
Another shopper remarked: "It looks so much more expensive than it was." However, not all feedback was positive, with one buyer pointing out: "The chairs are beautiful; however, the tabletop is rather uneven and warped for some reason; when the table is flat, it's out of shape."
Another customer concluded: "Fabulous outdoor furniture, very sturdy, easy to clean and looks great."

‘My life has been ruined by 80k seat ghost stadium – that could all change if they finish it'
'My life has been ruined by 80k seat ghost stadium – that could all change if they finish it' Valencia's Nou Mestalla has been left abandoned for over a decade, with the unfinished stadium having a major impact on the local community in Benicalap, Valencia Valencia's abandoned stadium looks to have a future (Image: Aaron Flanagan/Reach plc ) Next to the unfinished skeleton of an 80,000-capacity World Cup stadium, the residents of Benicalap have been left to wonder if the future will brighten in the shadow of its walls. The Nou Mestalla, lying dormant and derelict for years, symbolised promise and regeneration for this community as a project that began back in 2007. The stadium aimed to herald a new era for Valencia CF, following their La Liga triumphs in 2002 and 2004, which disrupted the Real Madrid-Barcelona domination. Yet, financial woes led to a stalled project, leaving an eyesore that overshadowed the area for over a decade. Now, with a hefty sum of £275million secured, Valencia can finally advance with construction, eyeing completion by 2027. This move restores hope within the local population that the problem area tarnishing their landscape might transform into prosperity. The site has been derelict for over 10 years (Image: Aaron Flanagan/Reach plc ) This turn of events rekindles the ambitions long-held by Benicalap residents, as the bleak giant marring their skyline may yet become a beacon of progress, as reported by the Daily Star. Article continues below In November 2023, a hotel receptionist in the vicinity said: "Everyone asks about it because it is so big and it is so ugly for the views," whilst another local shared a universal sentiment: "Whatever it is, it is better to have it finished. A building for business, a building for sport, a building for partying, whatever. But it needs to be done... not that." The grand Nou Mestalla stadium, with its ambitious plans to host 80,000 fans on a site that was once an industrial hub, promised a tourism boom for the residents of Benicalap. Reflecting on unfulfilled aspirations, a local café owner said: "My mother bought this cafe 15 years ago. She bought it for exactly that point, for the stadium. But we are waiting for them to start again, to have a great business. We are waiting. I hope they will start again. The stadium's long delay has been a source of anguish for the local community (Image: Aaron Flanagan/Reach plc ) "This neighbourhood is not so rich. We try hard to pay our bills. We are a working family and we are working hard, but it is not easy." However, the incomplete edifice wasn't merely a metaphor for missed chances; for some, it represented the excitement of being part of football's legacy. A restaurant owner said: "When someone from outside comes, they always ask about it I am also a fan of football and I love to see something like that. "I know the story of this but I do not feel like it is unfinished. Fans of football, if they see the stadium, they are feeling something and I feel the same. It is my dream to be near the stadium, near all the players of Valencia and the World Cup and more." Like others in the area, he looks forward to the potential benefits for the community should the project reach completion. "If they make it, everything will be great," he added. Valencia planned on entering a new era when construction began on Nou Mestalla in 2007, with a planned capacity of up to 80,000 for the stadium (Image: Aaron Flanagan/Reach plc ) "Money will come to the people and the businesses here. Fans of football will always be here, hopefully with the Champions League and World Cup, everyone will be here. It will be such a beautiful opportunity for the people here. I wish, I hope that they will do it." One local resident and avid football supporter expressed concerns about the structural safety if the project continues and mooted the possibility of needing a complete teardown. He said: "Engineering wise, it cannot be safe, so if they want to build, they will have to knock down the whole thing. It will take time and money. But when you remember the World Cup in Qatar, they did not have the stadiums but in six months, they build stadiums. They can do the same and that is what I wish for." It seems the residents' dreams are set to become reality, as the Nou Mestalla is poised to be among an array of iconic venues hosting the 2030 World Cup, with plans for the games to take place across Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. A view of how the Nou Mestalla could look if it is completed (Image: Valencia CF ) The official Valencia website reads: "Valencia CF has successfully secured the full financing for Nou Mestalla - the most significant non-sporting project in the Club's history. Article continues below "Scheduled to open in 2027, Nou Mestalla will serve as a global benchmark for modern stadium developments. The modern state-of-the-art stadium will drive Valencia CF's growth and unlock new long-term sustainable revenue streams that will strengthen the Club's influence and competitiveness for decades to come. "Nou Mestalla is not just a transformative investment for Valencia CF - it will be a landmark and legacy project for the city and is set to become an iconic symbol for Valencia CF fans, benefiting the city of Valencia, its residents, and visitors."

Up to 50% off 'lovely and comfortable' Dunelm garden seating set perfect for entertaining It's time to get the garden looking more stylish with a conversation garden set that includes sofa, armchairs and two tables The Santorini 4 Seater Conversation Set priced £109.50 from Dunelm (Image: Dunelm ) With the sunshine continuing, even with a cloudy or drizzly break in the heat, the hunt for stylish garden furniture that can offer a buyer a bargain too is hotting up as much as the temperature. Some people like to opt for sociable garden sets that can sit up to four people to create an inviting social space to gather with friends or family, and nestle around a table or a firepit to chat and drink the day and night away. And some garden sets come with thick padded seats that look comfortable but might not be the best option in the hotter weather - so, happy days then, because Dunelm's Santorini 4 Seater Conversation Set not only lets air circulate around you thanks to its rattan strands design, but if you go for the 'jade mist' option, there's 50% off too, down from £219 to £109.50. For more garden and homes content sent to your inbox twice a week sign up to the property newsletter here. One buyer is delighted, saying: 'Loving my new garden furniture, quite surprisingly comfortable. I bought some lovely scattered cushions from Dunelm too, which just sets it off'. Made from rattan, customers say the seats are comfortable (Image: Dunelm ) Another comments: 'Great product, very reasonably priced. It looks great and is also very comfortable'. But one buyer was not impressed, adding: 'Set is great to look at. Sadly one of the chairs rattan pieces broke after about 20 mins'. Another customer states: 'Lovely and comfortable, looks and feels good had an issue with several seating strands coming undone slowly but after a short online chat a replacement was sent out. Great service'. The price and the easy assembly delighted most buyers though, with one saying: 'This set was excellent value and amazingly easy to put together' and another added: 'Would recommend! Great product, very reasonably priced. It looks great and is also very comfortable'. Charles Bentley padded seat set from Next (Image: Next ) There are a range of 'conversation sets' to choose from that bring style as well as comfort as an alternative to Dunelm's Santorini. Significantly more expensive at £430, the Oatmeal Porto 4 Seater Lounge Set with Cushions by Charles Bentley and available via Next offers a two-seater sofa and two armchairs with 'deep filled cushions' plus a coffee table in oatmeal and black. If you like the idea of a more natural toned looking set but with a modern black accent that the Charles Bentley set offers but want a smaller price tag, the Santorini from Dunelm also comes in natural. Dunelm's Santorini garden set comes in natural and black too (Image: Dunelm ) This colourway is more expensive than the 'jade mist' option but it still has money off the £219 original price, now on sale for £153.30. But if green is the garden colour that has stolen a potential buyer's heart and the Santorini in natural and black is not on the wish-list and the jade mist is not a must, then maybe Habitat has the answer. The Scion 4 Seater Metal Garden Sofa Set in green is a funky looking set, bringing a more vintage vibe to any outdoor, balcony or conservatory space. Habitat brings a vintage vibe to its reduced garden set (Image: Habitat at Argos ) Article continues below Now reduced from £450.00 to £301.50, one buyer gives the set a five-star feedback review, saying, 'This is such a lovely garden set. I love the vintage feel, and the glass-top table is so special. The cushions are also fantastic. It was easy to assemble and the colour is exactly as shown in the pictures. Very pleased with it!'.

Large garden parasol with LED solar lights reduced by £85
The three-metre square parasol with solar-powered LED strip lights is on sale for a limited time No outdoor seating area is complete without a parasol that will provide much-needed relief from the beating sun. Shopping marketplace Yimbly (owned by the Mirror's parent company Reach Plc) is currently offering a deal on the Living and Home 3M Cantilever Garden Parasol that comes with solar-powered LED lights. The dark grey parasol usually retails at £270.55, but for a limited time shoppers can add it to their outdoor space for £185.01, providing a saving of £85.54. The large square canopy combines functionality with contemporary design, providing a large over-hanging shaded area that can be adjusted using the easy wind-up crank mechanism. It can be fixed at five different angles and spins around a full 360 degrees, allowing the perfect shaded position to be found. The parasol has a handy wind vent to provide stability on breezy days, plus it offers UV protection and is water resistant. As well as being useful in the sunshine, the Living and Home 3M Cantilever Garden Parasol is also ideal for nighttime use thanks to its solar-powered LED light strips that run along the inside frame of the parasol. This feature illuminates summer evenings, providing light to socialise with friends and family, or allowing one to curl up with a good book in the warm evening air. Amazon is selling a similar Purple Leaf 3x3M Garden Cantilever Parasol with LED solar lights priced at £399. This option can also rotate 360 degrees and can be adjusted to six different heights. For shoppers looking for a cheaper option, B&Q has the 3M LED Lighted Large Garden Patio Cantilever Parasol which costs £109. However, this adjustable canopy has individual LED lights rather than LED strips. There are currently no reviews for the Living and Home 3M Cantilever Garden Parasol on the Yimbly website. Over on Trustpilot, the retailer has earned a respectable overall rating of 4.3. One impressed customer wrote: "Goods were as advertised, arrived promptly and delivered with care." Another added: "Great products at a fraction of a cost compared to other sellers. Reliable delivery." Unfortunately one shopper who ordered a different parasol was left unimpressed, as they explained: "Ordered a parasol including a base. The base came Saturday, the parasol on Tuesday. I would have preferred both on the same day, would have stopped me having to send pointless emails." In contrast, one buyer who purchased a hedge trimmer from Yimbly was delighted with their purchase, as they commented: "The product is fantastic, it will be so easy to keep on top of my hedge now. Along with excellent customer service and super fast delivery, I will definitely use this company again."
