Sam Thompson ‘escorted out of club' by bouncer as date leaves with another man
Sam Thompson fell over and was 'escorted out of a nightclub' by a bouncer after drinking too much following a break-up. The former Made in Chelsea star says he had gone to the club with a girl in a bid to 'make his ex jealous' at the time.
However Sam, 32, says he had too much to drink and found himself being ushered outside. His night though took a dramatic turn when he stumbled on his way out and found himself tumbling to the floor.
On his Staying Relevant podcast with best pal Pete Wicks, Sam explained he then discovered his date for the night was 'hooking up' with someone else at the bar. To make matters worse for Sam, he says his former flame 'stepped over him' on her way out of the bar.
Sam made the revelation after Pete saw a woman falling over in rush hour. Pete explained people were 'literally stepping over' the woman's belongings after she tripped when her heel got stuck.
Sam said: 'I've actually been stepped over before. I've been stepped over by an ex-girlfriend, it was even worse.
'I'd just broken up with an ex-girlfriend and I was in a nightclub and I get p****d very easily and the bouncer ushered me out of the club and, I'd just broken up with this girl, and the girl I'd brought on a date to make her jealous in the nightclub, ended up hooking up with someone else.
'To drown my sorrows I got really p*****d, then got escorted out of the nightclub, they were going, You need to go home, you're too p****d'. Fell over in the little gutter right next to the entrance, she walked out with another guy, and stepped over me.'
Sam went on to explain that his embarrassing moment happened 'years and years and years ago'. The former reality TV star is reportedly dating holistic nutritionist Steph Robinson.
Earlier this year he had been linked to former Love Island star Samie Elishi, but the pair are said to have split a couple of weeks ago. According to the MailOnline, Sam has grown close to Steph, who boasts 170,000 followers on TikTok.
Sam is said to have declared he is 'not ready' to start dating again after his split from Samie. In a previous podcast episode, he said: "I'm going to work on myself. No dating, I'm not ready and I've realised that."
He said his sister Louise hopes he would date someone like Harry Potter star Emma Watson. He added: 'Louise thinks I should go out with Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger in Harry Potter."
Pete joked: "I think you have more chance with the ginger fella." Sam then added: "Ron! No, Louise thinks I should go for British thespian because she thinks its a little different, classy is the wrong word, but well to do."
Sam had been in a long-term relationship with former Love Island contestant Zara McDermott, but the pair split last year. Zara has since gone public with her new boyfriend, former One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson.

Jack Osbourne's siblings from sister that fled family home to adopted brother
Jack Osbourne is about to return to TV screens this weekend as the world mourns the loss of his famous father The Osbourne family is mourning the loss of their beloved patriarch, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, who sadly passed away at 76 on 22 July. As they grapple with their grief, Ozzy's youngest son, Jack, is set to make a return to television just days after his father's passing, as he takes part in the fifth series of ITV's celebrity cooking show, Cooking with the Stars. The programme, hosted by Emma Willis and Tom Allen, was pre-recorded before Ozzy's untimely death. Jack will be competing against a host of famous faces including Love Island's Ekin-Su, EastEnders ' Natalie Cassidy and former footballer Shaun Wright-Phillips. Each celebrity is paired with a culinary expert who guides them through each round, but those with the lowest scores face a cook-off without any help from their mentors, who can only watch from the sidelines. In a cruel twist, the mentors of those in the bottom two will have to endure a blind taste test to decide who progresses to the next round, potentially sending their own protege packing. Jack, a familiar face on television, is set to appear on the show this Sunday, 3rd August, at 8pm on ITV1, reports the Express. Throughout Ozzy's life, unbeknownst to many, the rockstar fathered six children, meaning Jack has five siblings - not just Kelly, who is widely known as his sister from MTV's At Home with the Osbournes. Before Sharon and Ozzy said 'I do', the Black Sabbath icon had been previously married. He met his first wife Thelma Riley in a Birmingham nightclub before they tied the knot and welcomed two biological children, Jessica, 53, and Louis, 50. Thelma was already a mother to five-year-old Elliot from a previous relationship when she met the lead singer. Ozzy would later adopt Elliot and raise him as his own. However, the three children don't have fond childhood memories with their daredevil dad. In a 2011 documentary (produced by Jack Osbourne), when Ozzy is asked about Louis and Jessica's birthdays, he fails to remember when each of them were born. In the same series, Louis revealed details about growing up with Ozzy: "When he was around and he wasn't [drunk], he was a great father. But that was kind of rare, really. I just have a lot of memories of him being drunk, random s**t like driving cars across fields and crashing them in the middle of the night and stuff like that. "It's not good for family life, really," he admitted in the documentary. His elder sister, Jessica also remarked: "I don't remember being put to bed or having a bath by dad or anything like that. I wouldn't say he was there for us, no, never on sports day, school trip, parents' evening. He wasn't like that, no." In 1982, Ozzy and Thelma divorced and that same year he wed Sharon, his manager at the time. Twelve months later, they welcomed their first daughter Aimee on September 2nd 1983, with their second daughter Kelly born on October 27, 1984. They eventually welcomed their youngest child, Jack on November 8, 1985. Whilst many fans know two of Sharon and Ozzy's offspring - Jack and Kelly - Aimee chose to stay out of the spotlight when the former X Factor judge decided to allow MTV's cameras into their home. Refusing to participate in filming, she left the family residence in the early 2000s to pursue her own musical career, performing under her initials ARO. In a previous interview with the Independent, she looked back on her choice to step away. She confided in the magazine: "Back then, I still felt I was trying to figure out who I was in the chaos of family life, so why on earth would I want that portrayed on television? I wanted to protect myself, my parents, my siblings, too. They were very young, very impressionable." In a 2008 interview with the same publication, Aimee defended her decision: "I'm not some weirdo depressed daughter that's afraid of the world and locks herself in her room all day. I just didn't choose to do the show. I want to be a singer, and I felt if I'd stayed with the Osbournes and done the whole thing I would have been typecast right away. "[Sharon] was hurt, and we definitely had a tough time with disagreements. I'm more reserved and my private life is very important." In 2021, it emerged that Sharon's two daughters were actually estranged from one another. Discussing her relationship with Aimee on the Dax Shepard podcast, Kelly admitted: "We don't talk. We're just really different. She doesn't understand me and I don't understand her." Despite the tension between the two sisters, it appears Aimee has a much stronger bond with her younger brother Jack, as they both co-run the production company Osbourne Media together.

Influencers arrested after posting TikTok video posing in front of flaming Russian plant after Ukrainian strike
TWO influencers have been arrested after posting a TikTok posing in front of a flaming Russian plant following a Ukrainian strike. A drone dramatically exploded the military-linked Rosneft-Kubannefteprodukt oil depot in Sochi. 9 9 9 TikTokers Dasha Vladimirovna, 21, and Karina Evgenyevna, 19, were filmed rapping in front of the burning facility. They are captured in footage glorying in the Ukrainian strike which Putin's air defences failed to prevent. The video was posted to a track Crimson Dawn by singer Endshpil, a Russian rapper. Dasha and Karina were also with a man - but it was unclear if he had been hauled to the police as well. A police "wanted" notice only specified the two women. 'During Internet monitoring, a publication was found showing two girls filming a video against the backdrop of a fire in Sochi,' a police statement said before the influencers were identified. It added: "The police have initiated an investigation, measures are being taken to identify the girls, and their actions will be legally assessed." Later it was confirmed the duo had been detained, and there were calls from pro-war outlets for them to issue a public apology over the stunt close to Sochi airport. Kremlin moral guardian Yekaterina Mizulina, 40, head of Russia's Safe Internet League, said: 'Young people are filming content against the backdrop of drones flying into Sochi at night. 'I wonder what's wrong with the instinct for self-preservation? Defiant Putin bombs key Kherson bridge as Ukraine strikes back with massive drone strike on Russia's biggest resort 'Don't they understand that this is simply dangerous?' But the real reason for their arrest is the potential glamourising of a Ukrainian strike in Russia's largest resort. Moscow takes an increasingly aggressive, extreme stance against social media stunts seen as highlighting Ukraine's successes in the war. A Ukrainian outlet Pravda Gerashchenko mocked: 'Russian zoomers are happy about the burning oil depot in [Sochi] - a new location for selfies. 'Ukrainian defence forces will definitely try to create as many such locations as possible.' The song 'conveys a search for direction, belonging and hope through music and the hip-hop community,' said one source. 'It reflects on life's struggles, yearning for freedom, and finding strength and identity through artistic expression.' Russian forces last night bombed a key bridge used to transport military logistics in the Ukrainian frontline city of Kherson. 9 9 9 Footage shows a Russian airstrike destroying the key road crossing on the Dnipro River after dropping two guided bombs. The attack damaged a bridge connecting the city to the Korabel neighbourhood. A few homes and a high-rise residential building were also damaged, officials said. A defiant Vladimir Putin has snubbed peace and is instead steadily increasing his overnight bombing raids - which could soon hit 1,000 a day. Governor Oleksandr Prokudin urged residents of the Korabel district to evacuate, citing complications with logistics and infrastructure. He wrote on Telegram: "As a result of the enemy airstrike, logistics have been complicated. "Because of this, it will be difficult to deliver food and other things for the time being." Kherson Oblast, which is just near the Russian-occupied Crimean region, is frequently targeted by the Russians. Kyiv sought revenge by launching a massive drone attack targeting Russia's main resort city of Sochi, where Putin is said to be rebuilding one of his palaces. More than 120 firefighters were trying to extinguish a blaze at an oil depot that was sparked by the drone attack, regional Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said. A massive fuel tank with a capacity of 2,000 cubic metres was on fire, Russia's RIA news agency reported. Some 30 huge explosions led to a massive inferno at the facility close to the main airport often used by the Russian dictator. 9 9

We're ditching the UK for Thailand – we can't wait to leave this ‘miserable' life, all we do is work to pay bills
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A UK FAMILY have set their sights on Thailand after growing tired of the British lifestyle. The Smiths cited the rising cost of living, crime, and the school system as their main motivations for ditching life in the Midlands. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 2 TikTok user Dale Smith explained why his family are leaving the UK for a new life in Thailand Credit: TikTok / @ Dale Smith told 1.9 million TikTok viewers about his family's upcoming move. He explained that he found a variety of factors have made the UK "not a nice place to live any more". The HGV driver and his wife Kim, 36, are moving with their children Noah, 10, and Molly, eight, in November. They said they want to break away from their monotonous routine and start a new life abroad, embracing the "beautiful scenery" and "incredible food" Thailand has to offer. "I feel like life is just flying by, you wake up on a Monday, you're fed up and you can't wait for the weekend – you're wishing the days away," Dale said. He added that the cost of living is continuing to rise while the UK streets are now "a state". Despite an increase in income following a change in work, Dale said all his extra money is "just going to bills". He compared the never-ending cycle to "banging your head against a brick wall". The couple's children are also excited for the move, eager to begin homeschooling life and leave the British school system. Dale and Kim plan to focus on English and basic maths, as subjects their children enjoy such as history, video editing, and photography. I fled the UK for sunny Dubai - life back home is miserable & no-one has any cash The TikToker added that he hopes his children will "learn new languages and learn about new cultures". He also pointed out that the "terrible" English weather is another push for the family to move abroad. "England is just a miserable place and we're just tired," he told his audience. The family plan to move across the globe with just "nothing but a bag of clothes" and use their savings to support them. They are also in the process of selling their three-bedroom home, their 2015 Ford Focus, and most of their possessions. How easy is it to move abroad? Brexit means British citizens now have to apply for visas to move to countries within the EU. While some countries residency restrictions are easier than others, here's what you need to do at home before moving: Notify HMRC about your upcoming move. Let your local authority know and provide a forwarding address. Contact your mortgage and utility providers and bank before leaving. If you have paid enough UK national insurance contributions, you can qualify for a state pension abroad - contact the International Pension Centre. You can sign up to the Royal Mail's redirection service. If you have outstanding student loans, contact the Student Loans Centre. If you have children, give due notice to childcares and schools. Dale added that he and Kim have been doing "loads" of research around visa applications, flights, and places they want to visit. He revealed that the they will travel to Bangkok for one week before moving down the coast to Hua Hin. The family will then stay at the scenic beachside district for a few months. Dale has been posting the family's journey on TikTok and YouTube, under the handle @ He described the upcoming new chapter as exciting but scary. More on living abroad Most expats surveyed claim living abroad is one of best decisions they've ever made. And the five things one British expat misses the most about life at home. Another family ditched the UK for Spain, and are loving the sun and relaxed culture. One British couple described themselves as "burnt out zombies" before moving to Bali. Another family left the UK for Cyprus and say they work half as much while still affording a home.
