Nikki Bella and twin sister Brie Bella have spoken out about a Total Divas reboot on their podcast.
During Saturday's live episode of The Nikki & Brie Show at WrestleMania, the professional wrestlers called on Netflix to renew the series.
Newsweek reached out to Nikki Bella and Brie Bella's representative via email for comment.
The Context
Total Divas was a reality TV show on E! that ran from 2013 to 2019. It followed the personal and professional lives of female World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) stars, including the Bellas.

In March 2019, the sisters announced their retirement from the WWE on their Total Divas spinoff, Total Bellas. Their careers, however, predate the shows as the siblings started at the WWE in 2007.
In 2023, they revealed their departure from their Bella persona and shared that they would be using their maiden name, Garcia, moving forward.
Despite their retirement, the twins announced this week that they'll be returning to the WWE in some capacity, though the specific details have not yet been released.
What To Know
During a joint appearance on the Busted Open podcast on Tuesday, Nikki Bella—whose real name is Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace—pointed to her sister and said, "I'm waiting for this one to join me in the ring, so yes, there will be a Bella Twins comeback."
In February, Nikki Bella made a surprise appearance at the 2025 women's Royal Rumble match in Indianapolis.
Meanwhile, Brie Bella—whose real name is Brianna Monique Danielson—spoke out about Nikki Bella's comeback at the Queen of the Ring Los Angeles premiere in March and said that she often thinks about a WWE return.
"Oh yes, always. But you know, what the women are doing today in both AEW [All Elite Wrestling] and WWE gets me wanting to get out there. It's incredible to be a fan of pro wrestling today. But definitely when I saw her I was like, 'Wait, it's not complete if I'm not there.'"
And on The Nikki & Brie Show, Nikki Bella spoke out about their former reality show, noting that "everyone wants this Total Divas reboot."
"They want the Total Divas OGs," she said, referring to the original cast members, but "with a few newbies."
The original cast members of the program included Nikki and Brie Bella, Naomi (Trin), Cameron, Eva Marie, Natalya (Nattie) and JoJo.
"You know what? I mean, I might be biased, but I feel like they would kill it," Brie Bella said, adding that her choices for new cast members would be "Bianca Belair, Maxxine [Dupri] and Chelsea Green."
Nikki Bella said that since they "can't bring" all of the original members back, she would choose "Paige, Nia Jax, you, me, Nattie and Trin."
"We all are bringing something different to the table right now," she said.
The reality star suggested that Total Divas could have a revival like Sex and the City did with its sequel And Just Like That... before sending a message to Netflix directly.
"Sign us up. We got our team here. You all need to make a call live. They'll step away. They can take it," Nikki Bella said. "I really do think there's something there."
What People Are Saying
Nikki and Brie Bella's comments come several months after Total Divas was discussed on Reddit. Fans expressed their thoughts in a thread titled, "Would a Total Divas reboot be a good thing for WWE women's division?"
"Now that WWE is on Netflix, I think a reboot of Total Divas would be great to draw more people into the product," the original poster, /u/Hot-Acanthisitta5237, wrote. "Some may discount the impact Total Divas had but many of the top women in WWE today became wrestlers because of TD like Bianca Belair. It brought many fans to watching WWE again or the first time."
They added, "Reality TV is still popular on Netflix so I think it would be a great idea for those who may not watch WWE and introduce the talents to the world in a different medium."
/u/RusserStinky said in a reply with 17 upvotes: "Absolutely. The women's roster is the future of the company, and you'd be surprised how many people became regular viewers or even wrestlers because of Total Divas. Also, it was entertaining as h***."
/u/BashfulWalrus7 added in a message with 22 upvotes: "Call it something else but yeah, those inside looks into the lives of pro wrestlers can only serve to get more eyeballs on the product."
/u/10024618 shared in a comment with 11 upvotes: "Yeah it could probably work. Like you said reality TV does big numbers for Netflix and they have plenty of charismatic wrestlers on the roster who could pull it off."
What Happens Next
For now, a Total Divas reboot has not yet been confirmed.

Is Squid Game getting an American spin-off? Everything we know so far
By Aman Shukla Published on June 28, 2025, 20:12 IST Last updated June 28, 2025, 20:15 IST Squid Game took the world by storm, and now that its third and final season hit Netflix on June 27, 2025, fans can't stop talking about what's next. With Seong Gi-hun's story wrapped up, whispers of a spin-off are growing louder. From a surprise cameo in the finale to rumors of a Hollywood heavyweight jumping on board, here's the scoop on whether the Squid Game universe will keep going. The End of the Main Series Let's start with the big news: Squid Game Season 3 is the end of the road for Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae). Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk has said it plain and simple: 'The story I wanted to tell came to a full closure at the end of season 3' (Entertainment Weekly). The finale delivers a gut-punch ending to the tale of desperate folks battling it out in deadly childhood games for a huge cash prize. But just when you thought the games were over, the show throws in a curveball—a cameo that's got everyone buzzing about a possible spin-off. That Finale Cameo: A Clue to What's Next? Spoiler Alert: If you haven't watched Season 3, skip this part! In the last episode, we get a jaw-dropping moment: a big-name Hollywood star shows up in a scene set in Los Angeles. The Front Man, Hwang In-ho (Lee Byung-hun), spots a woman playing ddakji with someone, just like the recruiters did back in Season 1. It's a clear hint that the games aren't just a South Korean thing anymore—they might be going global. Fans are losing it over this, and it's got folks wondering if a new series is in the works, maybe set in the U.S. Netflix hasn't said anything official yet, but this feels like a deliberate tease. A Surprise Cameo Hints at a Spin-Off The hottest rumor out there is about an American version of Squid Game , and it's got a big name attached: David Fincher. Yup, the guy behind Fight Club and Mindhunter . Word on the street—well, more like reports from places like What's on Netflix and The Playlist —is that Netflix has been eyeing an English-language series called Squid Game: America since at least April 2023. Fincher's supposedly directing and producing, with British writer Dennis Kelly ( Utopia ) penning the script. It wouldn't be a remake but a new story in the same universe, with fresh faces and maybe some new twisted games. Here's the catch: Netflix hasn't confirmed it, and Fincher's keeping quiet. Still, Hwang Dong-hyuk sounds thrilled about the idea. He told GamesRadar+, 'As a big fan of David Fincher, I hugely respect a lot of his work. If he actually were to do the spinoff of Squid Game , I personally, as a fan, I am very excited to see what happens.' If Fincher's involved, you know it's gonna be dark, intense, and probably a little unsettling—perfect for Squid Game . Production might kick off in Los Angeles as early as December 2025, according to some reports, but until Netflix gives the green light, it's all speculation. That Season 3 cameo, though? It's making this rumor feel a lot more real. Ahmedabad Plane Crash Aman Shukla is a post-graduate in mass communication . The season's cliffhanger ending has fans clamouring for Weak Hero Class 3 . Below, we dive into the latest details on a potential third season. The Cliffhanger Ending of Weak Hero Class 2 The second season ended with a major clash between Si-eun's Eunjang High crew and the Union, led by Na Baek-jin (Bae Na-ra). [Spoiler Alert] Baek-jin's death shocked viewers, while a post-credits scene introduced Choi Chang-hee (Jo Jung-seok), leader of the Cheongang gang, proposing Geum Seong-je (Lee Jun-young) take over the Union. This hints at a new conflict involving adult criminals. Additionally, Ahn Su-ho (Choi Hyun-wook), comatose since Season 1, woke up, reuniting with Si-eun and sparking excitement for his potential role in future episodes. Has Weak Hero Class 3 Been Confirmed? As of June 2025, Netflix has not confirmed Weak Hero Class 3 . At a cast event on May 11, 2025, director Yoo Su-min noted, 'No plans are set,' but added, 'There could be more to explore.' The show's strong performance, topping Netflix's non-English TV chart in South Korea and ranking globally, boosts renewal hopes. However, many Korean dramas end after two seasons, leaving fans uncertain despite their vocal support on social media. Weak Hero Class 3 Potential Release Date If approved, Weak Hero Class 3 could take time. The gap between Season 1 (November 2022) and Season 2 (April 2025) was over two years. A third season might arrive around late 2027 or early 2028 if greenlit soon. Rumours on X about a June 2025 announcement remain unconfirmed.
