Peter Krause Tells 'GMA' That '9-1-1' Fans Shouldn't Be Surprised By 'Lab Rats' Shocker Ending
2025 Premiere Dates For New & Returning Series On Broadcast, Cable & Streaming
On the 'Lab Rats' episode, a major character was killed off. Peter Krause's Captain Bobby Nash sacrificed his life to save Chimney (Kenneth Choi) after they were both infected by a deadly virus.
The death of Captain Bobby meant that Krause was also exiting the first responders drama, and Hinds took to social media to pay tribute to the actor.
'Peter Krause is a stunning actor. His canon of work has always confirmed that, and witnessing him give full breadth, depth, humor, and physical energy to @911onabc episode after episode is a special honor I will never ever take for granted,' Hinds wrote on Instagram. 'This has been a cornerstone moment in my career that will live forever. I am grateful to Pete for his leadership. Grateful for the times he took care of my heart in the quiet moments. Grateful for the ways he ignited a laughter that got us through long days and nights.'
RELATED:
Hinds noted that Krayse set 'a tone of warmth for every person that came through our little universe' and said she was 'grateful for his model of integrity and character to the very end.'
Hinds, who plays Henrietta 'Hen' Wilson on the television series, added that 'the loss of Bobby Nash, the centerpiece of the 118,' has shifted their axis but will 'hold firmly and fondly the memories of what made our time so special.'
RELATED:
'Our on-screen and off-screen bond punctuated by playful exchanges and patches of exhausted silence,' Hinds said. 'Traveling in transpo vans with the boys' banter serving as a soundtrack that's music to my ears. Somehow, I hear everything they say while not listening to a single word. The energy permeates and envelops me, and everyone who has come for the ride with us. It's love.'
RELATED:
Hinds continued, 'Admittedly, my heart raced with fear while reading the script, then it broke with sadness as we shot each scene, and lastly as an actor and audience member I watched with awe, grief, gratitude, and reverence as Pete honorably emptied himself and filled our homes with the indelible impact of Bobby Nash.'
'I celebrate his commitment and contribution to this character and to our show. Love him, always.'
RELATED:
In a farewell letter, Krause said he would miss the 9-1-1 family, which included the crew, the writers, as well as his on-screen partner, Angela Bassett, and co-star, Jennifer Love Hewitt.
'I will miss my beloved and unruly children of the 118. Aisha Hinds, Kenneth Choi, Oliver Stark, Ryan Guzman and Anirudh Pisharody: this is a tough goodbye,' Krause said. 'Stay unruly, but be professional and get the job done. Misfit heroes need each other. That's how we do it at our firehouse. Pass it along to the next new guy.'

Ty Burrell has ‘no regrets' leaving Hollywood for Utah after ‘Modern Family' success
One big happy family. 'Modern Family' star Ty Burrell, 57, recently admitted that he has 'no regrets' ditching Hollywood for Utah following his success on the popular ABC sitcom. 'It's just been spectacular,' he told People in an interview published Sunday, August 3. 7 Ty Burrell as Phil Dunphy in the final season of 'Modern Family.' The 'Black Hawk Down' actor and his wife, Holly Burrell, 50, left Los Angeles for Salt Lake City in 2020 following the 11th and final season of 'Modern Family.' 'My parents weren't really those kinds of people,' the 'Out of Practice' star said regarding life in the mountains. Advertisement 'So at first, when we moved here, it almost felt like cosplay, like we were pretending to be people who were outdoorsy, and now we really truly love it,' he added. 7 Ty Burrell and his wife, Holly Burrell, at the 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards at Microsoft Theater on September 17, 2017, in Los Angeles, California. 'This is probably connected to the really old axiom of 'Don't go to bed angry,' but we force ourselves to talk about stuff,' he told People in March. 'Both of us make sure that if something's wrong, by the end of the night, we have at least had some discussion about it.' WireImage Much like real life, Burrell starred as a family man in 'Modern Family.' Ed O'Neill (Jay Pritchett), Sofía Vergara (Gloria Delgado-Pritchett), Rico Rodriguez (Manny), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Mitchell Pritchett) and Eric Stonestreet (Cameron Tucker) rounded out the cast, and the show went on to win a total of 22 Primetime Emmy Awards throughout its 11-season run. 7 Ariel Winter, Nolan Gould, Ty Burrell and Julie Bowen in a scene from the two-part series finale of 'Modern Family.' Plus, several fans of the show thought Burrell had passed away after he failed to appear for a previous reunion that the award-winning cast organized. Advertisement 'I'm starting to get the itch again to perform,' he told People. 'I've mostly done voiceover work and things like this podcast. And if it accidentally works, I'd love to do a second season.' 'It was such a fun process and has so many great people in it,' Burrell concluded. 'I hope people check it out.'

Viewer's horrified after doc about adult star who slept with 1,000 men airs on major TV network: ‘Literal porn'
A major TV network has defended its decision to air a documentary about controversial porn star Bonnie Blue after viewers labelled it 'literal porn.' Channel 4, a British free-to-view TV station, premiered '1,000 Men and Me: The Bonnie Blue Story' in the UK on Wednesday evening. Advertisement But the one-hour documentary, which details the troubling tale of the 26-year-old as she has sex with 1,057 men in 12 hours, has been met with widespread criticism for being 'jaw-droppingly graphic' from viewers. Now Channel 4 has hit back at critics, arguing the pornographic content is compliant with local broadcasting codes. 'The explicit content in the documentary is editorially justified and provides essential context; making pornographic content is Bonnie's job, and this film is about her work and the response to it,' the broadcaster said, according to LADbible. 4 A new documentary on porn star Bonnie Blue has outraged viewers in the UK. Instagram/@bonnie_blue_xox Advertisement 'Crucially, the content is presented in a non-gratuitous manner and viewers will be alerted of the sexual content in a program warning at the start to ensure they understand from the outset the nature of the program. 'The program was broadcast after watershed and is compliant with the Ofcom broadcasting code.' But it has done little to quell the outrage online, with some labelling the documentary – billed as delving 'behind the headlines, clickbait and rage bait to discover what life's really like in Bonnie's wild orbit' – as 'grubby' just seconds in. 'Channel 4 has sunk a new low. Why is there a documentary on Bonnie Blue? Why are they trying to normalise her behaviour on national television?' one asked on X. Advertisement 4 Blue attending an event for '1,000 Men and Me: The Bonnie Blue Story.' Instagram/@bonnie_blue_xox 'This #bonnieblue documentary is absolutely depressing… I feel like I'm losing my mind watching this,' mused another. As one raged: 'Channel 4 you are truly disgusting for airing a documentary about Bonnie blue in any way shape or form. Genuinely disappointing how that woman is allowed a platform of any sort.' Others said the film — that makers said 'explores the central question polarizing debate about her: Is she a 'dangerous predator' pandering to male fantasies and perpetuating the patriarchy? Or an empowered, sex positive, businesswoman having the last laugh?' — failed to answer its own probing questions. Advertisement The film also features multiple scenes of Blue – whose real name is Tia Billinger – and various men engaging in graphic sexual acts. 4 The documentary takes a behind-the-scenes look at Blue's infamous pornographic scene featuring over 1,000 men. Instagram/@bonnie_blue_xox She's also shown completely nude at times and as well as while shooting adult videos with other porn stars. As a result, many branded the film 'disturbing,' 'sickening' and 'degrading', arguing it should never have been shown on TV. During the documentary, Blue is reportedly seen preparing for her most notorious stunt by buying '1,600 condoms, 50 balaclavas, numbing lube.' It's not just the stunt itself, along with the film, that has sparked outrage, with Blue's extreme approach to filming adult content regularly attracting widespread criticism. Dr. Charlotte Proudman, a family lawyer, said: 'The language Bonnie uses around being 'tied down, gagged and choked' for public consumption directly mirrors some of the most violent forms of abuse I see survivors disclose in courtrooms.' Advertisement Others challenged Blue's suggestion that she is a 'feminist,' stating her normalization of 'degrading' porn is 'worrying.' One thing's for sure, her reign on OnlyFans has come to an end, with the subscription platform popularized by sex workers banning Blue after she announced she was hosting a 'petting zoo' – where she was set to be tied up in a glass box 'like a zoo animal' for anyone of legal age to join her. A spokesperson for OnlyFans said 'extreme 'challenge' content is not permitted on the site,' stating it goes against its 'Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service'. 'Any breach of our Terms of Service results in content or account deactivation,' the spokesperson told The Sun last month. Advertisement 4 The UK's Channel 4 has claimed that the documentary is compliant with local broadcasting codes. Instagram/@bonnie_blue_xox The move has bought an abrupt end to her mammoth earnings on the platform and also ended her long-time friendship with Australian sex worker Annie Knight, famously dubbed 'Australia's most sexually active woman.' The former marketing executive told last week their friendship turned sour after Blue went on a media rampage after her 'horrifying' sex event was canned, during which time she seemingly took a swipe at Knight. Taking aim at OnlyFans, Blue claimed the platform 'took unprecedented action' to punish her for 'making content, while multiple other creators are mimicking my entire marketing techniques and events.' Advertisement 'The only difference is, I don't cry and I don't vlog hospital journeys. I just keep smiling,' she fumed, referring to Knight's recent hospitalization for an endometriosis flare up. It was a 'stab in the back' for Knight who ultimately decided it was time to cut the British sex worker out of her life. 'I'd spoken to her just a week prior and everything was fine and then she got banned from OnlyFans and the next thing I know, she's badmouthing me online, using my health issues against me and trying to get me banned as well,' Knight told Advertisement 'Her ship was going down and she tried to pull down as many people with her as possible, that's something I would absolutely never do. 'She tried to take credit for other people's careers and insinuate that people copied her, namely me. It's a huge stab in the back.' Knight said she had been growing increasingly concerned about the direction Blue's content was going in, noting that 'consent' and 'respect' are at the forefront of her own videos. 'I think the derogatory nature of the 'petting zoo' was horrifying. It opened the floodgates for abuse and other horrible things to occur. It was a line I wouldn't even dream of crossing,' the 27-year-old, who is originally from Melbourne, explained. 'I think at the end of the day our morals are completely different. Consent is so important and it has always been important that I convey that in my content. 'Sex is meant to be enjoyable for both parties and that's the most important thing for me to educate people on.' Prior to this, the pair had filmed controversial content with 'barely legal' young men, both in Australia and in Fiji where their tourist visas were abruptly cancelled over the stunt.

Logies 2025: Magda Szubanski given standing ovation as Lynne McGranger reveals odd plan after Gold Logie win
The 65th Annual TV WEEK Logie Awards has come and gone, with host Sam Pang guiding us through his third awards. Magda Szubanski has been inducted into the Hall of Fame, and was brought to tears as she accepted the honour. The biggest winner on the night was the ABC's comedy Fisk, which claimed an impressive five Logies. Jelena Dokic has been hailed for her powerful acceptance speech after the documentary delving into her abuse won the best documentary award. All eyes were on the seven Gold Logie nominees, with a record six women in the running to make it the first time since 2011 female nominations have outweighed the male nominations. Favourite Lynne McGranger took out the top award. Netflix's Apple Cider Vinegar, which tells the story of wellness influencer and conwoman Belle Gibson, had a massive eight nominations but only claimed one Logie. See all of our Logies 2025 updates below. That's a wrap Well, as predicted, it was a long night at the Logies. That's all of us at Yahoo finishing up, so thank you for joining us. "I also thought what I could do is in a few years' time when I die, I might chop the head off, scoop it out, and put the ashes in their, and screw the head back on and give it to Clancy, my beautiful daughter, who is here with me tonight, and she can put it on the mantelpiece," she explained. Even host Sam Pang was taken aback, joking "more speeches should include the revealing of your funeral plans". Lynne McGranger's Gold Logie promise 'better than Larry Emdur's' Lynne McGranger has promised to carry the Gold Logie trophy around in her handbag for a year, a promise she says is far better than what last year's winner committed to. "It's better than bearing my white arse on morning television, Larry!" she said, after Larry Emdur got a tattoo on his backside on live TV the day after his 2024 win. She heaped praise on her colleagues at Home and Away, and all the people associated with the show, saying they keep it afloat with their "wonderful" work. "For all of you fans, and those of you who keep free-to-air television alive, please, keep on doing what you're doing, and watching what you watch," she said. Lynne McGranger wins Gold Logie And there we have it. Lynne McGranger has won the Gold Logie. "Wear a pretty dress they said, you'll be fine they said," she began her speech after Sonia Kruger was left carrying the back of her dress up to the stage. Apple Cider Vinegar wins first Logie Apple Cider Vinegar has just won its first Logie, and it may feel bit of a disappointing night for a show nominated eight times across four categories. The Netflix show won Best Miniseries or Telemovie, with its lack of wins of course down to Fisk's huge success tonight, which has won an astounding five Logies. Lynne McGranger wins first of the night – is there another to come? Well after a lengthy delivery, we think Manu Feildel just called Lynne McGranger Lynne McGregor. We'll forgive him, it's getting late. He was announcing the winner of Best Lead Actress in a Drama, which is a fitting end to what will have been a stellar career on the set of Home and Away for McGranger. "I am truly overwhelmed. I love my daughter and I love my husband. I asked him to come tonight and he said, 'I would rather swallow a hammer'" she said. "Thank you, this means the world." While over the moon, McGranger will undoubtedly have her eyes on the top award of the evening having been identified by many as tonight's favourite. Fisk lands yet another Logie Well it's certainly Fisk's night, having just claimed its fifth Logie award. "I swear to God, this is the last time you will see me tonight, I am so sorry!" Kitty Flanagan joked as she picked up the award for Best Lead Actress in a Comedy. Tough crowd as plenty of jokes fail to land Well it's been a bit underwhelming with the comedy so far this evening, with Sam Pang and presenters struggling to nail several jokes, hampered at times by several stutters. But Cheap Seats hosts Melanie Bracewell and Tim McDonald certainly had the audience laughing, nailing the delivery of their gags. And it was fitting they'd be handing over an award for Aaron Chen, one of the country's funniest comedians. Sadly, he couldn't be there to accept his award for Best Lead Actor in a Comedy for Fisk. Fisk wins three Logies in a row It's turning into a great night for ABC comedy Fisk, having just won three Logies in quick succession. The show claimed the Best Scripted Comedy Program, Julia Zemiro won Best Supporting Actress and Glenn Butcher won Best Supporting Actor. Magda insists Hall of Fame induction isn't because of her cancer diagnosis We've just seen the Hall of Fame package for Magda Szubanski and there were endless words of praise for the comedy great. From Richard E Grant to Rebel Wilson, dozens contributed to the montage, praising her talents and character. Unable to attend the ceremony, Magda gave her acceptance speech via video. Despite her recent cancer diagnosis, she insisted her induction was not a sympathy vote and was ultimately down to 40 years of hard work. "Lobbying, bribing, threatening, whatever it took, finally it has all paid off," she joked. Addressing the outpouring of love she's received from the Australian public since her diagnosis, she broke down in tears. Wrapping up her speech, she revealed her bald head and joked she had her "hair done specifically so it will match with my Gold Logie". Unsurprisingly, she received a standing ovation. Logies drag on again Well you think they would have learnt their lesson, wouldn't you? After 2024's show stretched out to midnight, it seems this year's Logies is going the same way, judging by how quickly the show is ticking over. And viewers are less than impressed, taking to X to let their thoughts known. Take a look for yourself below. Going to be a darn long night if every presenter does a comedy routine before presenting an award.#tvweeklogies#logies#logies2025 — Nez (@fraggle73) August 3, 2025 At this rate the Logies should finish by Boxing Day. #Logies2025 — martydownunder4 (@martydownunder4) August 3, 2025 #logies #logies2025 #tvweeklogies 7 of 23 awards done. At this pace we're going to blow well past midnight with Magda's bit and the in memoriam section. — tbyrn21 (@tbyrn21) August 3, 2025 New award handed out Five-time Gold Logie winner Ray Martin was up on stage to hand out the inaugural new award named after him. And Ally Langdon was the first recipient of the Ray Martin Award for Most Popular News or Public Affairs Presenter, calling Martin an "incredible man" and thanked him for guiding so many in the industry. "I think for a lot of us in this industry you are a big part why we got into it. Thank you so much for just showing and being that guiding light," she said. Hamish Blake accepts Logie, but he wants this one Hamish Blake does have his hands on a 2025 Logie, but it's one he did actually want to win. Lego Masters has won the Best Competition Reality Program award, and he accepted the award as host. 'This one is OK to win,' he said in reference to his 'anti-Gold Logie' campaign where he finds himself up against six women for the top award. Jelena Dokic hails 'massive' win for survivors Well it's fair to say Jelena Dokic has moved viewers at home. She gave an emotional acceptance speech after Unbreakable: The Jelena Dokic Story won the Best Factual or Documentary Program. "I just want to thank you all. We have done a massive thing. This is not about winning. This is about a win for victims and survivors, especially of domestic violence and mental health," she said, prompting strong applause from the audience. The show, which delves into the physical and mental abuse she received at the hands of her father and coach Damir, prompted widespread praise on its release, with Dokic hailed for her courage. There was an outpouring of love for Dokic online, with sports media identity Ralph Horowitz calling her "the best of Australia". "A speech as good as her amazing story of resilience and success," he said on X. Guy Montgomery wins Most Popular New Talent award Guy Montgomery has won the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular New Talent thanks to Guy Montgomery's Guy Mont Spelling Bee. Accepting his award, he was quick to point out where he's from. "This is really crazy, I am from New Zealand. I know, so I am so sorry to all of your country but suck it, we got one up on you time!" No surprises in the Children's Program category Well this isn't a surprise at all really, is it? Being one of the biggest success stories coming out of Australia in recent years, Bluey has, as expected by many, won Best Children's Program. Hamish Blake addresses 'elephant in the room' Hamish Blake has addressed the "elephant in the room", saying he actually "fears" winning the Gold Logie tonight. The two-time winner said it was pretty obvious the masses didn't want another "middle-aged white guy" winning the top award, saying he felt like the drunk uncle in the room. It's the first time ever six women are nominated for the award, with Blake the only man. First Logie goes to... And we have our first winner. Seven's The Voice has won the Best Entertainment Program. Sam Pang embraces controversy in opening speech Sam Pang has started once again in brutal fashion and it appears he's even managed to reference recently convicted killer Erin Patterson, prompting gasps from the audience. Offering a suggestion for MAFS' future, he said he thought producers should "cast the mushroom lady as the caterer". And looking for Gold Logie nominee Poh Ling Yeow, he took a swipe at diversity in the industry. "You should be easy to find in this room," he a wrap Well, as predicted, it was a long night at the Logies. That's all of us at Yahoo finishing up, so thank you for joining us. Well it's certainly Fisk's night, having just claimed its fifth Logie award.
