Rangers star seals Ibrox exit and reunites with two former Gers team-mates at European club

ROSS McCausland has become the latest player to leave Rangers as boss Russell Martin continues to reshape his squad.
The winger has found his chances of first-team football at Ibrox limited and has joined Aris Limassol on a season-long loan deal with a "conditional obligation to buy".

There is a reunion with former Rangers players Connor Goldson and Leon Balogun who both play for the Cypriot side.
The 22-year-old Ibrox academy graduate enjoyed a promising start to his Rangers career and established himself under ex-boss Philippe Clement.
However, he made just four league starts last season and has been made surplus to requirements under Martin who told him he was free to leave the club.
The Gers boss has has signed Spurs starlet Mikey Moore on Friday on a season-long loan.
He already signed winger Djeidi Gassama in a £2.2million deal from English Championship side Sheffield Wednesday as his Rangers revamp continues.
And others are expected to come in.
So far he's signed defender Manny Fernandez from English League One side Peterborough; full-back Max Aarons on loan from Bournemouth, with midfielder Joe Rothwell making the move permanent from the Cherries.
There are moves too for attacker Thelo Aasgaard from English League One outfit Luton; a loan deal for defender Nasser Djiga from Premier League side Wolves; while midfielder Lyall Cameron was signed on a pre-contract agreement from Dundee; and winger Oscar Cortes was an obligation to buy after a loan spell from Ligue 1 side Lens.
McCausland joins centre-back Robin Propper in recent Ibrox departures, with the Dutch defender returning to Twente after slipping down the pecking order.
Defender Balogun, winger Ianis Hagi and attacker Tom Lawrence have also left Rangers this summer.
With Vaclav Cerny, Neraysho Kasanwirjo and Rafael Fernandes returning to their parent clubs Wolfsburg, Feyenoord and Lille respectively, after loan spells came to an end.
McCausland was snapped up by Rangers from Linfield's youth setup in 2019.

He made his Europa League debut against Aris coming as a substitute in a 2-1 defeat in Cyprus in October 2023.
He netted his first goal for the club against the Cypriots at Ibrox a month later in a 1-1 draw, which guaranteed them football after Christmas.
He made his first-team debut in the 2021/22 season, and has made 66 appearances in total.

If everything goes their way, it will certainly be a day to remember for the Crusaders. Should Workington Town lose out at home to Keighley Cougars, a triumph for North Wales would see them crowned as League One champions for the season. Head coach Forster told CruCast: 'We're trying, we really are and we just want the fans' support. 'I think... the next two Sundays are potentially two cup finals. It can actually be won on Sunday if we do what we need to do and Keighley beat Workington. 'So, you know, we could be in a party atmosphere come Sunday, or it's next week at Rochdale. 'But, I think if you look back at when we went to Doncaster in that cup final, it felt like a home game. 'So, I just urge everyone to come out, support the boys, you know. Sunday, we could achieve what we've wanted to achieve for the last three years, which would be massive for the club and I think we should all be there to enjoy it together and, if it's not this week, I think we've just got to build some momentum and, you know, get as much support as we can and hopefully bring that trophy home.' It's been some campaign already for the Crusaders, with 12 wins from their 13 matches. However, their solitary loss did come away against Sunday's visitors Swinton back in early June. The Lions came roaring back from a 16-6 interval deficit to record a terrific 26-20 triumph. Sam Wilde, Pat Ah Van and Ollie Brookes scored North Wales' tries on the day, with Jamie Dallimore kicking the remainder of the points. Ferguson Jr first took over the club in 2007 for two years before returning in 2011 for four years. He then took up the job at Doncaster Rovers, where he spent another four years before going back to Peterborough yet again in 2019. He would resign in 2022 following a poor season before being persuaded to take up a fourth stint the following year after the sacking of Grant McCann.
