The Minister received a grand welcome from locals, supporters, and villagers who turned out in large numbers.
As part of the initiative, he visited homes to explain the welfare and development programmes implemented by the coalition government. He personally inquired about the benefits received by each family, patiently listening to their concerns and feedback. Speaking on the occasion, he stated that as part of the programme, ministers and MLAs across all 175 constituencies are going door-to-door to directly interact with the people. He noted that the initiative is instilling confidence and peace, replacing the fear and unrest experienced during the previous five years.
He highlighted a drinking water issue in Donekal village, where pipelines had not been laid due to negligence. He instructed officials to prepare a special project report to resolve the issue permanently within 10–15 days.
Keshav pointed out the stark difference between the current and previous governments, noting that under the previous regime, 220 people received Amma Vodi benefits, while under the current government, 430 beneficiaries are receiving support through the Talliki Vandanam scheme. He also emphasized that pensions were increased by Rs1,000, and farmers are being supported under the Annadata Sukhibhava scheme.
He reiterated the government's commitment to both welfare and development, highlighting the completion of a national highway road and fast-tracking the Handri-Neeva project within 100 days. He assured that wherever there is suffering, struggle, or need, the government will respond swiftly.

Bhimavaram: West Godavari district collector Chadalawada Nagarani said that arrangements are being made to organise a mega parent-teacher meet in all government and private schools and junior colleges in the district in a festive atmosphere on July 10. She held a meeting with the district officials in person and with the division and mandal level officials virtually from the PGRS conference hall and reviewed the arrangements for the meet to be held in the district on Monday. She said that the government has ordered to organise the meet in all educational institutions across the state to guide the students towards a golden future. She asked the parents of each student, as well as the central and state ministers of the district, Rajya Sabha members, legislators, legislative council members, chairmen and members of various corporations, ZPTC, MPTC and local public representatives to participate in this programme on a large scale. 'We are making the parents of 2,79,204 students studying in 1,920 government and private schools in the district and 37,124 students studying in 121 government and private junior colleges partners,' she said. She said that the government has provided financial assistance of Rs 229.55 crore to 1,76,574 mothers under Talliki Vandanam so that education should not be a burden for poor families. As part of the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' programme, steps have been taken to provide a sapling to each student under Green Passport and grow it in the name of their mother, for which a Leap app has been created and steps have been taken to register students in the app. In one-on-one interaction, the class in-charge will discuss the Holistic Progress Report Card & Health Card of each student with their parents sitting at a specially arranged desk in the corridor. She said that Rangoli competitions will be organised for mothers, and competitions will be organised for fathers. Joint meals will be organised with parents, students, teachers and public representatives. Everyone should make the meet a success.

RS 10 cr bribe for waiving 100 cr loan, alleges Cong
Vijayawada: Senior Congress leader Chinta Mohan on Monday launched a scathing attack on the BJP-led Central government and the current state coalition government, alleging widespread corruption, flawed policies, and the dismantling of crucial welfare programmes. Addressing a press conference in Vijayawada, Mohan touched upon issues ranging from bank loan write-offs and rising fuel prices to the controversial Amaravati project and the alleged weakening of the MGNREGA scheme. He asserted that corruption has escalated tenfold under BJP rule, claiming that 'BJP leaders are swindling thousands of crores of rupees.' He accused the government of writing off lakhs of crores in bank loans, leading to massive illicit gains. 'To get a Rs 100 crore loan waiver, one has to pay Rs 10 crore as bribe,' he alleged, stating that this sentiment is widely prevalent in Delhi, where he recently conducted an extensive ground assessment. The former minister questioned the whereabouts of subsidies on crude oil, stating that India is receiving 60 per cent of its crude oil from Russia at subsidised rates. 'Despite this, petrol pumps are not dispensing fuel for less than Rs 100 per litre,' he observed, demanding an explanation from the central government regarding the utilisation of these subsidies. While clarifying that he is not against Amaravati, Mohan criticised the project's concept as 'a total failure.' He said that the CRDA acquired 30,000 acres, and 'if you dig an inch, you find water,' suggesting unsuitability for a capital. He also questioned the need for another international airport in Amaravati, just 30 km from the existing one in Vijayawada. Mohan strongly condemned the state coalition government for allegedly 'destroying' the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA). He accused the government of diverting 90 per cent of MGNREGA funds, meant for labourers' wages, towards 'material charges,' leaving only 10 per cent for the workers. Regarding the Talliki Vandanam scheme, Mohan alleged that the government's distributed funds were ending up in 'brandy shops'. He demanded that funds for students' education be directly credited to schools and colleges. He also voiced strong opposition to the state government's reported plans to reduce the number of schools in Andhra Pradesh from 35,000 (established during Rajiv Gandhi's 1987 New Education Policy initiative) to 10,000.

One held for attempt to vandalise Gandhi statue at Pune railway station; Cong workers gather to protest
Pune: Police arrested a man for his attempt to vandalise Mahatma Gandhi 's statue on the premises of Pune railway station on Sunday night, bringing Congress workers together in a demonstration at the very spot on Monday. Police said the person had a chopper on him. He climbed the statue and tried to vandalise it. Citizens managed to pull him down and handed him over to the police, who identified him as Suraj Shukla from Varanasi. Shukla stays in the Vishrantwadi area with his family. Speaking to TOI, deputy commissioner of police Milind Mohite said, "Shukla's wife works in an IT firm, while he sells rudraksha. His family had gone to Varanasi a few days ago, but he stayed back. He went to Wai in Satara and purchased the chopper. We have seized the weapon, a mobile phone and books from him for further investigation. There are some discrepancies in his statements, indicating he may not be mentally stable. It also shows the deteriorating law and order situation of the state." Meanwhile, Pune unit members of Congress protested the incident near the Gandhi statue on Monday. Police say Shukla is mentally unstable, but we do not accept the explanation. If he was mentally unstable, how could he purchase a weapon and vandalise Mahatma Gandhi's statue, but no other? He is following a certain ideology and that is why he did what he did. " The court of judicial magistrate first class GR Dornapalli on Monday sentenced Suraj Anand Shukla (34) to seven days of simple imprisonment and he was sent to Yerawada central jail. Shukla (34) was also fined Rs1,000 for making contemptuous remarks when produced in court.
