Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce enjoy cozy lunch date in Chagrin Falls: ‘He and Taylor were both really…'

Pink Villa2 days ago
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce hit pause on their superstar schedules for a relaxed midday outing in Ohio. With its low population, Chagrin Falls provided the perfect backdrop for a low-key date night. Far from the glitz of arenas and stadiums, the Grammy winner and the Kansas City Chiefs' tight end savored local fare and meaningful conversation in the town where Kelce grew up. Fans quickly shared photos of the event on social media.
Where did Kelce and Swift meet up?
In a quiet private room at JoJo's Bar on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, Swift and Kelce settled in for burgers and fries, according to John Ponyicky, a manager at the eatery.
' Taylor and Travis came in and had a wonderful time. They had a great lunch, enjoyed our food, and were really impressed with the team,' Ponyicky told PEOPLE exclusively. 'He and Taylor were both really pleasant.'
Kelce, 35, wore a blue striped shirt, while Swift, also 35, kept it simple in a white button-down and pleated skirt, her blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail. After chatting at the bar, the couple retreated to their private table, blending in with locals yet clearly savoring the slower pace.
A pause from the spotlight
This town-centered lunch follows two busy weeks for the pair. After Swift's red-carpet debut at Tight End University in Nashville—where she and Kelce danced to a remix of Shake It Off—they've been splitting off-season time between New York, Nashville, and quiet retreats.
'They're incredibly happy and in sync,' a source told the publication. Kelce's offseason break arrives just as Swift wraps the U.S. leg of her Eras Tour, offering them rare, uninterrupted hours together.

Angélique Kidjo makes history: First black African artist to receive Hollywood Walk of Fame star

Angélique Kidjo, a singer from Benin, will become the first Black African performer to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, according to a report by the BBC. Kidjo is one of 35 people named in the Walk of Fame's class of 2026, alongside others such as singer Miley Cyrus, actor Timothée Chalamet, actress Demi Moore and former basketball player Shaquille O'Neal. Now 64, Kidjo has been making music for more than 40 years and has released 16 albums. She has won five Grammy awards and performed across the world, combining West African sounds with funk, jazz and R&B. She has also worked with artists such as Burna Boy, Philip Glass, Sting and Alicia Keys. During the announcement event, she was described as 'Africa's premier diva,' BBC said. Kidjo will join Charlize Theron, a white South African actress who received her star in 2005, as one of the few Africans to be honoured on the Los Angeles walkway, which features more than 2,700 stars. A date has not yet been announced for when Kidjo will officially receive the star. Once selected, recipients have up to two years to schedule a ceremony. Kidjo, who grew up in Benin, West Africa, moved to France in 1983, saying she left because of political oppression at the time. 'From the moment the communist regime arrived in Benin, I became aware that the freedom we enjoy can be snatched away in a second,' she told the BBC in a 2023 interview. She added that she has always been curious, 'My nickname was 'when, why, how?' I want to understand things, to understand my place in this world.' Before launching her solo career in 1990 with the album Parakou, she worked as a backing singer in France. Kidjo is also a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF and Oxfam. She runs a charity called Batonga, which supports education for girls in Africa.

Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck Take Beverly Hills Mansion Off Market. But Why?

Last Updated: The Beverly Hills estate was first listed for sale in June last year, weeks before Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's divorce filing in August. Months after finalizing the divorce in the beginning of this year, ex couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck made a joint financial decision when they took their USD 68 million Beverly Hills mansion off the market. Despite ending their marriage, the former couple decided to remove the mansion from the market list after it failed to attract any buyers. The mansion, bought in May 2023, was put up for sale in June 2024. The Beverly Hills estate was first listed last year in June, only a few weeks Lopez's divorce filing from Affleck in August. PEOPLE reported that the singer and the Argo actor were keen to sell the 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom property but after unsuccessful attempts, they took a joint decision to remove it from the market. A source also told the portal, 'While they've been hoping to sell the property, they've also been hesitant to take a big loss." It added, 'They lowered the price to get more interest and when this didn't happen, they were advised to take it off the market. It was a business decision that they made together." The unsuccessful attempts to sell Beverly Hills mansion involving Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck can be credited to the ongoing tough sellers' market. Before taking the mansion off the market, the former couple had dropped the selling price by USD 8.5 million, taking the price from USD 68 million to USD 59.5 million. A real estate source shared with PEOPLE, 'Taking it off the market until it's more of a seller-friendly climate seems like the smartest decision." Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck bought the huge 38,000-square-foot home in May 2023. Worth USD 60.8 million, the estate comes with a 12-car garage, a 5,000-square-foot guest penthouse, a two-bedroom guardhouse, and a caretaker house. There are also some other luxury amenities, including a sports lounge, bar and a full gym. After months of quiet separation, the duo finalised their divorce in January 2025. Post parting ways from each other, Lopez and Ben Affleck moved into new separate homes. While Lopez got herself a property worth USD 18 million in Los Angeles, Affleck purchased a USD 20.5 million mansion in the Pacific Palisades last July in order to stay near his children—Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 12.
