Air India received 9 notices for safety violations in last 6 months
Air India has received nine show cause notices in the last six months, junior civil aviation minister Murlidhar Mohol told lawmakers on Monday, amid heightened scrutiny of the airline in the aftermath of a deadly crash. U.S. carrier Alaska Airlines grounded its flights on Sunday due to an IT outage that affected key systems, the company announced. This marks the second time in just over a year that the airline has halted operations system-wide. Tech companies Google and Palo Alto Networks have recently warned about the 'Scattered Spider' hacking group targeting aviation.
